We are literally sitting ducks down here in the foyer, though I do not envy the people upstairs running around like chickens with their head cut off. They however were the least of my worries. After all I did tell them to stick together and get downstairs and what do they do? At the first sign of trouble they all scatter, yes I know I literally jumped down the stairs and into Jack's arms but still. I just sighed as I looked down one hallway. I had a good feeling the professor or Lee whatever you want to call him (I sorta want to call him "Jackass" right now but that's just me) went down this way.

"I know what you are thinking and there is no way in hell you are going down there." Jack says as he holds me a little closer to him.

"Maybe I can get ahold of Scarlett and she can go look?" I ask him as I look up at him.

"Then you better be quick, I think that the ghosts here don't take their sweet time killing the living." Jack says holding onto me.

Getting ahold of Scarlett for me was usually pretty easy. I just closed my eyes and concentrated on her. Scarlett in my mind looks just like me but in more wild west clothing. She of course told me that my minds image of her was correct. I saw her there in my mind and she looked super worried.

"Where the hell are you?!" Scarlett demanded.

"Uh, in an Asylum...are you not here?" I ask her.

"I can't get in, that's the problem. There is so much darkness and evil here I can't even take one step inside that door." Scarlett tells me as she looks around.

"Great now what are we going to do?" I ask her.

"I can start looking for ways to get out from out here at least, until then you and your boyfriends stay put." Scarlett says as she disappears and I open my eyes.

"What'd she say?" Tyler asks walking up to me.

"She can't get in. There's too much evil and darkness here. Scarlett can't even take one step in the door Tyler. That has never happened before." I tell him as I start to get very worried.

"What did she say to do?" Jack asks me.

"She said to stay here and she would try and find a way out from the outside. I don't know how though I mean the windows are probably barred up." I say with a sigh.

"Well once we find Professor Idiot I think we should totally get him fired." Tyler says crossing his arms.

"Yeah well we can do that if and when we ever get out of here Tyler. Until then we need to stay focused and not freak out." I say.

Right after my last word Brittany starts moaning. I look at Jack and Tyler confused. They just shrug their shoulders. I mean come on she had to do that here? We might die and she is busy screwing one of her many boy toys? I try to close my eyes and just block her out. I mean I am sure the ghosts or spirits what have you can hear her.

"OH GOD!" We all hear Brittany cry out in pleasure.

"Uh really? I mean come on I know she's a slut but here of all places? We may die and she's busy riding someone?" Jack asks shaking his head.

"I don't wanna know who either, something tells me since we can hear them well so can the others." I say looking around the room.

Just as we start to sit down the lights all the sudden come on. Ok this place hasn't been in operation since the 50's how in the hell do the lights still work? We then stand back up as Lee walks forward with a smile on his face.

"Fixed the lights." he says walking over to us.

"You really are an idiot! We might be about to die and you are fixing the lights?!" Tyler asks furious.

"It will help us to better see will it not Tyler?" Lee asks him.

"Yeah mate, cause it's always better to see the ghost that is going to kill you." Jack says looking at Lee with dagger in his eyes.

"Listen boys, we've only lost one person. We still have nine others." Lee says.

"I would say seven after what we just heard." I say with a mumble.

"What did you just hear Anne?" Lee asks walking over to me.

"You really didn't hear Brittany moaning as loud as humanly possible?" I ask him wondering how in the hell that was possible.

"No I didn't I was down close to the basement. Did either of you go to check on her?" Lee asks us.

"We don't have a death wish pal!" Tyler spat at him.

"Not to mention that was something none of us wanted to see." Jack says crossing his arms.

"She could have died? Yet you three sat down here and did nothing?" Lee asks us with anger.

"Ha, I doubt you can die from an orgasm." I say as I now cross my shoulder and the three men look at me. "What? Is it such a horrible word to say?"

They just shake their head when we hear the chains again. Oh crap who is it going to be this time I wonder as I look about the room. We all come back to back to make sure no one can sneak up on us. I feel someone grip my hand. I look and see that it's Lee holding my one hand and Jack holding my other. Well this just got weird, other than the fact with the ghosts oh well you know what I mean after all.

"You have trespassed on our territory, for that you all must die." we hear a deep voice say in the room though we couldn't pin point where it was coming from.

"We meant you no harm, I swear it." I say looking around the room.

"You may not have little angel but the one holding your hand was going to use you just as he was going to use us." the voice says with a rumble.

I look between Jack and Lee. Ok I totally get who the voice is talking about but I know it would be better for my benefit if I acted stupid right now.

"Please just let us go, we'll never tell anyone and we won't come back again." I call out to the mysterious voice.

"I'm afraid it is too late Angel. Four lives may be spared but they must prove themselves before the spirits that dwell here. Once proven you are free to leave...and never return." the voice says now making a deal with us.

"How do we prove ourselves?" Tyler asks calling out as well.

"One of you already have. Anne is safe and when the three others can be released she will join them. She will not be harmed from here on either." The voice says.

"How did she prove herself?" Lee asks this time.

"She went up stairs to look for the others, she showed bravery when you all did not." the voice says.

Ok a part of me was really glad to know I was off the hook. Still I want the three others to be the ones standing with me. Lee was really smart yeah but this was the dumbest idea he had ever had. Tyler knew a lot about the paranormal so I am sure whatever the voice threw at him her could handle, but not Jack. Poor Jack was like me we usually wanted nothing to do with the paranormal.

"However for each one I save, one will also be killed." the voice says.

"Well that explains Paul up there." Jack says as we all look up at the first victim.

"Every hour I will test one of you. Teacher you are up next walk to the top of the stairs and look for the other female student. I have a feeling she is dying to see you again." The voice says with an evil laugh.

We all look at Lee as he looks at us. Clearly he didn't see this coming now did he? I could tell how terrified he was but he also knew he had to prove himself, from what though I had no idea and I didn't know what to tell him either.

"I'll pray for you." is all that I managed to tell him as he turned and started up the stairs.
