"Y/n, is everything alright? You and Taehyung came early from your honeymoon trip." The brunette hair woman sitting in front of you on the midnight blue velvet chair of the cafe asked with her eyebrows furrowed as you gazed straight in her eyes with your doe ones.

Licking onto your lower lip as you gulped down a lump in your throat before you stretched the corner of your lips slightly, in a mild smile.

"Unnie, actually someone attacked us." You whispered just so Yeji could hear you but her eyes widened as soon as your words reached her earshell.

"What?!" Yeji's voice came out a bit loud and raspy as her eyebrows arched up to her forehead.

You could feel the glances of the people reaching your table you both were pondering on but you looked at her with your pressed lips as she glanced around for a second or two before looking at you with her astonished yet worried orbs.

"Are you both okay? Did you both get hurt anywhere? Who did this?" She threw questions one after another as she stretched her hand on the back of your hand before holding in her gentle grip as you parted your lips, "Relax, unnie. I am fine but Taehyung got hurt."

Yeji's eyebrows knitted on her glabella as you could feel her pressing your hand gingerly, "I hope he is fine." You nodded, taking a deep breath in before looking behind her shoulder, pressing your lips before looking at her again.

"You wanna say something?" She asked as she discerned you shrugging your shoulders while your eyes were wiggling back and forth from place to place.

Letting out a breath, you leaned in towards the table as you twitched your hand to get a hold of her firmly.

Yeji's eyes were attentive as she took a glance at your hand which was holding hers and then back into your eyes, "I am pretty sure that the assailant was sent by Hyun-Ki." You declared in a mutter as her eyebrows crumpled before you continued.

"He wants my father's company and...." You halted as you let out a breath, "And I think... I will give the company to him." You declared making her frown grow more but she didn't say anything as she waited for you to end your sentence, "I can't handle this now. I can't lose Taehyung. I only have him in my life and I can't watch him getting hurt because of me."

The salty water settled on your bottom eyelid which Yeji noticed within a jiffy as her eyes softened while her eyebrows fell back on their prior position, "Hey, nothing will happen to him. You don't have to worry." She whispered as she placed her other hand on the back of your hand which was holding hers.

You gulped down, trying to blink off the tears, "I know Taehyung. He would do something about it." She said, caressing the back of your hand with the pad of her thumb, "I know, he would. I trust him but I don't trust Hyun-Ki. He is just the worst."

Yeji blinked as she pressed her lips before she leaned in, "I know, he is a reprobate and I think you should do what you think is right. I am with you but you should have a word with Taehyung." She declared as she passed you a dejected smile which you reciprocated, "I know he won't let me do it." You thought.

Another thought gushed your mind as you parted your lips but before a word left out of your mouth you heard the vibration of the phone.

Looking down at the table, your orbs were directed on the dull screen of Yeji's phone which had the white letter imprinted on the screen, "AERI'S PICK UP."

"Oh, It's time to pick up Aeri from school." Yeji said, looking back at you from the phone as she slid her one hand off yours to get a hold of the phone as she swiped the screen with her thumb. You nodded, "Yeah, you should leave." You smiled as she said, "Let's talk walking out."

Licking your lower lip, you nodded once again as you let go of her hand before grabbing your clutch from the table placed just a few inches away from the cup of your coffee.

Pensiving on how to put your thoughts in front of Yeji as you both walked out up to the door of the cafe while the doorman opened the door for you both before Yeji stepped out of the door followed by you, "Unnie?" You called her out as she turned around and looked at you with her befuddled yet attentive eyes.

"I don't know how to put this. Don't get me wrong in some way." Stiffening the grip around your clutch with your fingers and palm you looked at Yeji as she relaxed her eyes, "It's okay. Say it." She twitched around to face you.

"I got to know about your divorce with Jin oppa..." You halted as you watched her eyebrows getting crumple before you continued, "I know, it must be difficult for you to split up from the person you are sharing your life with for the past 6 years. And I am not questioning your decision but can you please give Jin oppa a second chance." You declared.

Yeji tilted her head as you took a step towards her while she stood erect, "Not only Jin oppa but Aeri too. She also deserves to live with her father. I know how it feels to get parted away from your parents. And it's really difficult. Please think about it, unnie." You declared, gulping down a lump in your throat.

Yeji's eyes softened while you looked at her with your dejected eyes.

Discerning a mild smile approaching her visage, "I know you are worried about Aeri but Jin oppa also does, that's why he is ready to lose Aeri because he knows how much you love her." You declared as her eyebrows flickered at your sentence.

"I appreciate your efforts, Y/n, but I don't think anything can happen now." Yeji declared but you said, "It's never too late, Unnie. I have seen you and oppa, and I myself think that you both understand each other. If you both give each other a bit more time, maybe you both will understand each other." You declared as you looked at her for an answer but she stayed quiet.

Taking a step towards her, you stretched your hand as you took her hand in yours as she looked at you, "I just want you to reconsider your decision once again because you three deserve the best." You smiled mildly with your doe eyes while she reciprocated as she nodded, "I understand you, Y/n." She nodded before closing her eyes for a second and opening them.

She bit her lower lip before saying, "I will think about it, Y/n." You smiled at her, "Thank you, unnie." She smiled back as you said, "I know you will make the right decision." She nodded as you pressed your lips in a warm smile.

"We can also meet for the Aeri's amusement park trip this weekend." Yeji said as you nodded, "Of course, we can." She smiled as she looked at her wrist watch before hastily seeing you off, "Take care, bye." She declared as you waved your hand to her as you let go off her hand before smiling at her while she parted away from your eyeshot.

Twitching your eyes towards your car, you looked at the well built physique donned in a jet black suit jacket and pants with a black earphone propped in his ear as you walked towards him, "Taehyung, shouldn't have appointed a bodyguard for me but I know how much Taehyung would be worried about me just as I am about him and I think, giving up the company is the best decision."

"Are the transfer papers ready, Mr. Wang?" You walked inside the lounge of the mansion while propping the phone against your ear as you could hear the sound of your heels clicking against the marble flooring.

The amber rays of the chandelier skimmed against your skin, making it gleam as you approached the second stair of the staircase when you knitted your eyebrows together before your steps halted on the midway over the third stair.

"What? What do you mean that Mr. Kim rejected the proposal? How did Taehyung get to know about this?" You asked while raising your voice at Secretary Wang on the other side of the call and before he could answer you heard another familiar hoarse voice from your back, "Princess, I am a major shareholder after you. Nothing can go unseen from me."

You knew who it was as his rich octaves deep voice reached your eardrums, making you clench your eyes shut as you clamped your lower lip within your teeths while your hand hung down sideways as you leisurely pressed the red button on the bright screen of the phone.

Feeling your heart hammering against your chest as you could feel a lump in your throat which was burning down.

Gulping down the lump in your throat, you heard his footsteps approaching you as you took in a deep breath before breathing out.

Sensing him standing beside you on the same stair you were standing, erect as you opened your eyes reluctantly with your churning stomach and your racing heart was just cherry on the top.

Discerning his dark gaze, gazing straight through your soul before you licked your lower lip as he wiggled his eyes through your lips and eyes before you heard his sonorous voice, "What were you trying to do, Princess?" His voice came out stern yet soft, making your heart flip on its position as you could feel the nervousness building up in the corner of your stomach.

"Tae... Taehyung, I just can't take this anymore." You declared, his eyebrows flickered at you while his eyes searched yours as you were looking somewhere over his sturdy chest.

Feeling him elongating his hand up to your chin as he pulled your chin up, "Look at me." Your orbs met his cocoa ones, glimmering underneath the amber rays.

This is the only way we can get away from him." You declared as he could see the fringe of your eyes getting damp.

"What do you think if you give the company to him, he will let you go that easily?" Sliding your palm on your jaw, Taehyung skimmed the pad of his thumb over your pinkish petals while the red lipstick was rubbed off.
