CH 3 | A BEAUTIFUL MESS

Feeling the heavy heart of yours while you settled the uneasy and anxious feelings within. All you could think of is your father, "Why didn't you die that day instead of my father?" This sentence hasn't let you sleep last night while somewhere in your heart you were regretting saying this but the loath you have for him in your heart was more than that.

You let out a sigh as you heard the makeup artist say, "You are looking beautiful, Miss. Your makeup and hair are done." Turning your eyes in the mirror deposited in front of you, you traced your visage down to your scarlet lips.

You were indeed looking beautiful but broken from the inside. The makeup artist and her assistant bowed before making their way out of the room located in the building of the wedding hall, the venue of the marriage.

You heard a knock on the door making your heart skip a beat thinking it could be him as you muttered a 'come in'. A lady with a black and white dress entered inside, she was looking like a helper as she said, "I am here to help you with the wedding dress."

"Oh!" You muttered, getting up from the ash chair before saying, "It's okay. I will wear it myself. You don't have to trouble yourself." She blinked twice before saying, "Okay, miss as you wish but I am outside the room. You can call me if you want any help." You nodded with a mild smile as she egressed, the room in a second, closing the door behind her.

Letting out a deep breath, you turned around to take a look at the wedding dress which was hanging on one of the hangers.

It was a pearly white a-line wedding gown with a deep neckline as you stretched your hand to trace the waist and chest of the gown which was embedded with white glittery pearls going up toward the shoulder steps, "Beautiful." You whispered with your arid throat.

Your vision blurred for a few seconds as you clenched your eyes shut before opening them to decipher the minute work of the pearls on the gowns.

Taking a glance at the water bottle, you held it before opening the cap and quaffing down half of the water. Wiping off the drop of the water which was gushing down your chin, you placed the water bottle in its prior position.

Your churning stomach wasn't settling down while you donned inside the wedding, gazing in the vast mirror fixed on the wall of the spacious room. Licking onto your dry lips, you twirled around to see the back of the gown as the zip was still open.

Concurrently, The lad strode through the hallways of the floor in his black tuxedo with the white shirt tucked inside his black pants as the upper two buttons were unbuttoned while he walked toward your dressing room, propping his phone near his ear, "Did the Choi's agreed with our conditions?" "Okay, finalize the deal." He declared.

Hanging up on the call, he scrutinized his eyes to look at the lady standing outside your dressing room as he approached her while she bowed, "Why are you outside?" He asked in a stern voice as the helper replied, "Umm... Ms. Lee said she would get ready herself."

Taehyung nodded as a thought crossed his mind, "She isn't trying to flee, right?" Gazing at the door he said, "You can go." Helper bowed before making her way out of there. He stretched his hand out to knock on the door when halted midway, "Should I? I can't take any risks with this girl."

Stretching your hand at your back, you tried to zip up the gown as you pulled the zipper halfway when you couldn't make it further. Your fingers couldn't reach it, taking a deep breath you whispered, "Guess, I will have to call the helper." Before calling the helper for help, "Is anyone out there?"

Just as Taehyung was about to knock, he heard your muffled voice from inside the room, "She is there." Taehyung licked his lower lip, clamping it between his teeth before he twitched the knob of the door open.

Deciphering your physique while you were trying to close the zip of the dress, "She's trying to zip her dress. Looking alluring." You turned your eyes to the side of the door which opened a few seconds ago.

You turned around to face him in a jiff, "What the hell are you doing here?" These words left your throat while you were clutching onto the back of the dress within your palm. Taehyung let out a sigh, "Why? Can't I come here to meet my soon-to-be wife? Moreover, I came to check if youa re still here or have escaped from the wedding." He whispered in his sonorous voice, stepping inside and closing the door behind himself while you gulped down a lump in your throat as your chest was heaving up and down, unevenly.

"I am a woman of my words. Where is the helper? Send her in." You declared while he didn't halt his steps since he had entered the room. Retreating the steps away from him while he walked to you, tracing down your wedding gown through his orbs and gazing back into your hazel orbs.

Taehyung scrutinized the panic in your orbs with the tincture of intense dauntlessness, "Why is she afraid of me? Why am I not feeling good seeing her being terrified in my presence? It isn't a good feeling. She shouldn't be afraid of me."

Taehyung was just an inch away from your physique when your back hit the sill of the window while the curtains were flowy with the impact of the breeze entering through the opening of the window. Taehyung ceased his steps when the tip of his black chukka boots touched the tip of your heels and in a jiffy, the silky pearly curtain got settled on Taehyung's back, hindering both of your physiques.

Your breath hitched while your heart was hammering inside your ribcage, Taehyung didn't break his eye contact with you even for a second. You were about to slide off when he propped his hand beside your head on the wall as you looked back at him with your furrowed eyebrows, "What are you doing?" You asked in a stern voice.

He blinked once, "Are you afraid of me?" You knitted your eyebrows further as you summoned some courage without your voice, "Why would I be?" Your warm breath trickled down his chin and exposed chest as he felt stars tickling down his skin while the soft beads of sweat were saying otherwise.

Taehyung stooped, his face near yours and when you were about to retreat, he stretched his palm behind your head before it could collide with the glass of the window. You gazed into his lunar eyes with your wide eyes as he traced your neck and chest heaving unsteadily, "Why don't you agree that you are afraid of me?" He whispered against your rosy petals.

"I am not." You whispered, gulping down the saliva in your arid mouth as he asked, "Really?" You furrowed your brows before propping your hand over his shoulder and twitching his physique around.

Taehyung's back hit the glass of the window with a thud sound as he let out a deep breath while gazing down at your orbs, raising one of his eyebrows looking at you while you had a rewarding expression on your visage, "I said, I am not." You whispered in a firm tone as his palm was propped over your flanks.

The simper on his visage didn't go unnoticed by you, "You aren't?" He raised one of his brows, "I can hear your heartbeat from here." He whispered against your ear while you could feel him tracing his large palms up from your flanks making your eyes widen.

Sensing him gliding his warm fingers up to your cold bareback, he zipped up your wedding gown as the zipper skimmed up your skin. His lavender cologne entered your nostrils, making you feel weak and hazy at the same time.

A shiver ran down your spine as he retreated his visage to take a look at your visage. Your petals were parted, your milky teeth were partially visible and the beads of cold sweat were just cheery on the top.

A strand of your tresses hung down, hindering your cheeks and your left eye, "A beautiful mess." You met his gaze and looked down at his lips which he was clamping within his teeth while his heart did a cartwheel in the jiffy when he analyzed your appearance.

You were too astonished to say something when he elongated his right hand near your visage while the other one was propped on your flank.

The breeze hit your visage as the strand flew along with it when he traced his thumb over your lips covered with the scarlet lipstick before skimming the pad of his thumb from one side to the other as he smudged the lipstick over the fringe of your lips, "A beautiful mess yet perfect one. I wanted to ruin it not with my hands but something else."

The sudden thud sound of the window smashing in its frame made you come back from your reverie when you instantly retreated from him as his hand fell to its prior position, "You-" You were about to let out a curse when he interrupted in between, "Get ready. The wedding is in 15 minutes." He declared before making his way out of the room while you closed your eyes in annoyance, thumping your feet on the marble floor.

"Bustard!" You whispered, hearing the door of the room getting close. Taking deep breaths, you walked in front of the mirror to gaze at yourself when you discerned your smudged lipstick on the fringe of your lips, "He is getting on my nerves." You said while clutching onto the cotton pad to wipe the lipstick clean as you applied a pinkish shade of the lipstick by yourself, "Why couldn't I say anything to him? He just did what he wanted and I was all quiet."

Walking towards his dressing room to get his suit jacket for the wedding, Taehyung discerned Seokjin striding towards him, "I am late, I guess." Taehyung shook his head, "No."

"Why aren't you ready yet?" Seokjin asked while walking beside Taehyung toward the dressing room, "Just getting." Seokjin nodded as they both entered the dressing room before Seokjin helped Taehyung in donning the suit jacket when he discerned something on Taehyung's hand.

"Is it a nick on your thumb?" Seokjin asked with one of his eyebrows raised as Taehyung halted setting the collar of his black suit jacket before gazing at his hand as his thumb while the moments from prior rushed inside his head, "No..." Taehyung muttered before wiping the scarlet lipstick off his thumb with a white fluffy towel, "Just marked something mine." He completed while Seokjin looked at him in befuddlement.
