I'm so sorry I haven't updated so long and sorry for such a big time skip I just have had really bad writers block for this story!
Marinette POV:
"Mari we're here!" Alya says walking in the front door with Lila on Nino's shoulders behind her. I smiled and walked over giving Alya a hug and kissing Lila's forehead.
"I missed you guys! I haven't seen you since Halloween." I said hugging Nino. Lila started to giggle and reach out her hands for me to carry her. I groaned pretending she was heavy when in actuality she was the lightest thing. "You've gotten so big. I can't believe you are almost one year old."
"Mawi!" She giggled putting her hands on my cheeks and squishing them together. Then Jamie came slowly walking in.
"Oh my Jamie has already learned to walk! Lila can walk but she stumbles a lot." Alya says taking her from my arms and tickling her belly.
"Yeah but she can't talk yet." I say picking her up as she was pulling on my Santa skirt.
"Oh Mari I almost forgot, I got that picture of us from Halloween made." Alya said pulling out a picture from her pocket and handing it to me.

"I am so glad Chloe came she was a life saver. I am happy she took the picture because this is a good picture," Aly said looking at me with a big smile.
"What is the back ground?" I asked her as Jamie and I still stare at the picture.
"Oh I just found it online and since we were holding those pumpkins I felt it fit." Alya exclaimed right as Adrien walked in the front door closing it behind him.
                "Hey kitty come look at this picture from Halloween!" I sad holding it up to his face so he could see.
              "You look good as a witch m'lady." Adrien say laughing to which I elbow him in the ribs but laugh as well. "Well not as good as you do as a ladybug."
             "Wadybug?"  Lila said looking up at me smiling.
            "She inherited the love of ladybugs. When ever we go to the park she stumbles all over the place trying to catch one." Nino say shaking his head and softly laughing.
"That's so cute!" I say smiling at Lila then looking down at Jamie in my arms. "Jamie has adopted the love of cats, especially black cats."
"How fitting!" Nino says chuckling. "Ok so it's Christmas so let's open up some presents!"
             "Yay!" Lila says happily clapping her hands which Jamie then follows in suit.
              We all walk over to the tree as Alya and Nino place the gifts they brought under the tree. We all sat around the tree grabbing the presents and handing them to the person they were written for. A few were for people who weren't able to make it weather they were out of town for vacation of at home sick in bed. As the girls opened each present they got so excited and smiled so brightly it became contagious. Soon I was smiling just as brightly as I continued to watch them open gift after gift.
                   The lights of the tree shown bright as they blinked from color to color like fireflies dancing to a silent song. Each one flickering different colors simultaneously. Alya just sat on the ground next to Nino's legs as he sat on the couch leaning forward.
                    He looked down at Alya as she watched their daughter open the gifts. I saw all the love he felt for her and all the determination he had to protect her from anything that will cause her harm.
                 I looked up at Adrien as he sat on the couch behind me and our eyes locked. I then realized that he had been looking at me as well with the same love and determination but maybe more. Hawkmoth knew who we were and Adrien wanted to protect me, protect us.
                 I trust him with all my heart and will do anything for him. I love him and he loves and that is all I really know. I don't know what I would have done if I wouldn't of met him. He gives me the hope of a better future of one with a happily ever after. But I know there is no such thing so all I ever wished for was a...
