Chapter Four
"ᏴᏞᎾᎾᎠ ᏴᎡᎾᎢᎻᎬᎡᏚ."

"I love this fucking town." Eugene grinned, clapping his hands together as the group waited outside of the elevator. They were all finally ready to go do some drinking, gambling, and forget the entire night.

As they stood waiting for the elevator, Eugene couldn't help but to look at Kristoff's outfit. "You're not really wearing that, are you?" He asked.

"Wearing what?"

"The man-purse." Eugene said, gesturing to the satchel. Kristoff looked down, confused at what Eugene was talking about. "You're actually gonna wear that or are you guys just fucking with me?"

Jack and Hiccup sighed, knowing Kristoff actually wanted to carry it around. They didn't see what the big deal was. "It's where I keep all my things." Kristoff said. "I get a lot of compliments on this. Plus, it's not a man-purse. It's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one."

Eugene sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets. "So does Joy Behar."

The door opened up and there was a couple inside. "We're going up, guys." The man said.

"Yeah, that's perfect." Eugene said, following the group inside the elevator.

"Really? We're going up?" Jack asked.

"I'm just saying, it's clearly marked, okay?" Hiccup exclaimed as the group walked out onto the roof of the building. "We are definitely not supposed to be up here."

"Oh, come on, Hic, we're paying for a villa. I mean, we can do whatever the fuck we want." Eugene said, shrugging his shoulder.

"Yeah, but--"

"Just wedge the door open." Eugene said, cutting Hiccup off. He grabbed onto the ladder built into the side of the building. "Guys, come on up here."

As they climb to the top, Jack looked around in shock. "How the hell did you find this place?"

Eugene let out a sigh, a smile on his face. "Don't worry about it."

The group climbed up the ladder, getting to the very top of the building. Jack walked around, admiring Vegas from every angle. "Look at the view up here."

"You happy?" Eugene asked.

"This is great." Jack smiled, giving Eugene a fist bump.

Hiccup laughed, walking around. "Whoa! Are you kidding?" He asked. It was like he had completely forgot about how many rules they were breaking once he saw the view.

"Kristoff, how we coming, buddy?" Eugene asked, seeing Kristoff off in the corner.

"Good."

Jack turned around, seeing Kristoff dancing as he walked over to them. "What do you got over there, Kristoff?"

"That's the Eiffel Tower." Hiccup pointed out.

"Uh-oh." Jack laughed, seeing what Kristoff had.

"Right?"

"A little Jagermeister." Jack grinned, seeing the bottle and the four cups. Kristoff began handing them to each of the guys. "Good idea. There it is. Good call. On the roof."

"Um, no, this is good. I'd like to make a toast." Hiccup said, holding his glass. "To Jack and Elsa." He began as Eugene filled everyone's glass. "May tonight be but a minor speed bump in an otherwise very long and healthy marriage. Cheers."

"Cheers." Jack and Eugene agreed, clinking their glass with Hiccup's.

"Short and sweet." Eugene smiled before everyone tipped their heads back, downing the drink.

Everyone came back up, cough after they finished the drink. "Oh, it's like college." Hiccup groaned as Eugene shook out his hair and Jack cleared his throat.

"All right. I wanna talk about something." Eugene began. "I want to--"

"I'd like to--" Kristoff cut off. Eugene whipped his head, glaring at him. "I'd like to say something, that I prepared tonight." He continued as he handed his glass to Eugene and then pulled out a piece of paper.

Eugene bit his lip to stop himself from saying anything.

"All right, Kristoff." Jack nodded, glancing at Eugene.

He stared down at the paper, beginning to read it. "'Hello. How about that ride in? I guess that's why they call it Sin City.'" He chuckled. The others gave a soft chuckle too, remembering how Kristoff tried to kill them on the interstate. "'You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one-man wolf pack. But when my sister brought Jack home, I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack, it grew by one.'"

Eugene and Hiccup lightly smiled, slightly shoving Jack. Jack was glad to know that Kristoff actually did like him and actually accepted him. The speech was wonderful, in a Kristoff sorta way. But Kristoff pressed on.

"'So were there two--So there were two of us in the wolf pack. I was alone first in the pack, and then Jack joined in later. And six months ago when Jack introduced me to you guys, I thought: 'Wait a second. Could it be?' And now, I know for sure. I just added two more guys to my wolf pack.'"

"All right." Jack nodded, lightly laughing with Hiccup and Eugene.

"'Four of us wolves running around the desert together in Las Vegas looking for strippers and cocaine.'" He finished. Everyone was slightly taken back by the ending, but knew Kristoff meant well. "So tonight I make a toast." He declared, whipping out a knife.

"Whoa!"

"What?!"

"What do you got there?" Jack asked, his eyes wide. Everyone screamed, backing away as Kristoff swiped the blade down the palm of his hand.

"Dude, what the fuck?!" Eugene shouted as Kristoff's eyes widen as he pressed harder.

"What the hell are you doing?" Hiccup exclaimed. Kristoff groaned, continuing to draw blood from his hand. "What is that?"

"Blood brothers." Kristoff panted, narrowing his brown eyes at them.

"Don't-- Why did you--?" Jack asked, trying to keep from laughing.

"Damn it." Hiccup swore, looking at Kristoff's shaking hand.

"Here." Kristoff spoke, handing the knife to Hiccup.

"Kristoff--" Jack began.

"No, I'm not doing that!" Hiccup argued, shaking his head at Kristoff and Jack.

"No, Kristoff." Jack said, keeping his voice calm.

"Go ahead, Hiccup." Kristoff pressed, stepping closer to him.

"Make him stop." Hiccup begged, looking at Jack.

Jack sighed, cautiously stepping towards Kristoff. "Kristoff, we're not gonna cut ourselves. Give me the knife." He demanded and Kristoff groaned in pain. "Slowly. Thank you."

Jack took the knife. "Okay. Thank you very much." He nodded as Kristoff jumped up and down from the pain.

"Are you all right? You okay?" Eugene asked. Kristoff nodded his head, beginning to suck on his hand to stop it from bleeding. "You need a doctor?" He asked, stepping closer.

Kristoff shook his head, making a small no sound.

"He's fine, he's good." Jack said.

"You sure?" Eugene asked.

"I'm good." Kristoff answered, nodding his head.

Feeling bad, Eugene rushed toward him. "Perfect. Kristoff, come here, buddy."

"Get in here, crazy." Hiccup agreed as the group rushed together to give have another drink. I mean, Kristoff's speech was pretty good, but whatever he did afterwards was completely insane.

"All right," Eugene began, "to a night the four of us will never forget."

The four of them clinked their glasses together then tossed their heads back. They gave few loud whoops, ready to begin the night.
