Chapter One
"ᏢᏌᎢ ᎢᎻᎬ ᏢᎡᎬᏚᏟᎡᏆᏢᎢᏆᎾN ᏢᎪᎠ ᏴᎪᏟK."

"You really need to floss more." Hiccup said, studying his patient's mouth. He rolled away, turning off the light then moving it.

"Fuck that. That's why I come here." Eugene replied as Hiccup raised his chair so he was sitting upright.

"Then you should come one than once every two years." Hiccup said, rolling away to write in Eugene's portfolio.

"Why? So you could bleed me of all my money?"

"I never charge you a dime, Eugene." Hiccup answered, never looking up from his papers. He didn't charge any of his friends or their families. He really didn't mind and he liked having close customers.

"Hey, how do I work the nitrous?" Eugene asked, grabbing the mask from off the table.

"Uh, you don't, actually." He said, still not looking. This was typical of Eugene's visits. He liked to screw around and see if he could get Hiccup mad, which usually failed. This was his space. And he could charge Eugene if he wanted.

"Come on. Just one hit." Eugene begged, placing the mask over his mouth.

Hiccup flipped around, rolling back towards Eugene, who was putting the mask away where it belonged. "Fillings look pretty good. Any other problems?" Hiccup asked, folding his hands on his lap.

"Yeah, actually." Eugene said, getting comfortable in the chair. "You're getting married in Thailand."

Hiccup tossed back his head and rolled his green eyes. He knew Eugene was going to have a fuss about it. He was just waiting for him to bring it up.

"For starters, that's flights for me and Rap. That's two grand right there. Then my mother-in-law's watching the kids. So now she's got this whole new thing to hold over my head."

"Actually-"

"Plus it takes five days to get there." Eugene continued, cutting Hiccup off.

"It's a 16-hour flight. And it's beautiful when you get there." Hiccup said after waiting to make sure Eugene was finished.

"Whatever. It's a hassle." Eugene said, shaking his head. This was too much work for a wedding to him. Why did they have to go overseas? Couldn't they just do it here instead? It would save a lot more money and time.

"It is kind of far." Hiccup agreed, shrugging his shoulder. "Mulan's been there a week and she's still jet-lagged."

Eugene sighed and started taking off the blue bib around his neck. "But it's where her parents are from and it means a lot to them." Hiccup pressed, trying to get Eugene to see his side.

"Who gives a shit about her parents?" Eugene asked, sitting up. "Her dad hates you."

"He doesn't hate me." Hiccup argued as Eugene stood up. "He's just never spoken to me. I think it's a cultural thing."

"Why can't you just get married in Vegas like you did last time? So much easier." Eugene said, beginning to walk around the room.

"Why can't you just be excited for me?" Hiccup argued. Eugene sighed, resting against the wall, watching Hiccup. "This is my wedding." He chuckled.

Eugene looked down, thinking. Where it was taking place was completely unnecessary and totally expensive. Not to mention how much time they would be spending over there. But Hiccup did seem happier over the past two years. He looked back up. "You're really happy, huh?"

"I really am." Hiccup smiled.

Eugene took a deep breath and shoved his hands into his pockets. "All right. I'm happy too." He said, walking over and placing a hand on Hiccup's shoulder.

"Thank you."

"It's gonna be fun." Eugene smiled. He gently slapped Hiccup's shoulder and walked out of the room.

"Eugene?" Hiccup called, peeking his head out.

"Hmm?"

"Put the prescription pad back."

Eugene paused. How did Hiccup catch him? He totally thought he had him his time. He walked back in and stared down at Hiccup. Knowing he wouldn't let him leave without it back, Eugene shoved his hands down his pants, yanking it out. He threw it onto the desk.

"Thank you." Hiccup smiled, looking at it. "You know that's a felony, right?" He asked, pointing at it.

"Fuck you, man." Eugene sighed, walking back out.

"Was this right up against your scrotum?" Hiccup asked, holding it up with two fingers.

"Yep."

"Oh, my God. I just realized." Elsa fretted.

"What?" Jack asked.

"I forgot to renew my passport."

"Oh, no." Jack said, looking at the road. "Good thing I did it last week. It's in the kitchen drawer."

Elsa grinned, looking over at him. "You're the best."

"Hey, we're a team." He replied, grabbing her hand and giving it a kiss. They had been happily married for two years and were expecting their first child. Life couldn't have been better for them.

"No, I mean, you are a good guy." She said. He glanced over at her, gently smiling. "Like, a really good guy."

"Thank you." He smiled.

"So I know you're not gonna get mad." She sighed, slightly frowning.

"Mad? What--? Mad at what?" He stuttered.

"Kristoff found out that we're going to Thailand for Hic's wedding." She slowly said.

"So?"

"So he's heartbroken, Jack. You guys are like his family."

"No, your family is like his family." Jack said, slightly shaking his head. Sure, he was fine with Kristoff. He could handle him most days, but Jack and the others really didn't like being associated with him. He was crazy to say the least.

"All Kristoff talks about is the three of you. And that weekend." Elsa said. She was worried for her brother. That was all he ever brought up anymore.

"Wait a second. Is he the one that keeps calling and hanging up?"

"He does that when he's upset." Elsa said, slightly furrowing her eyebrows. "He doesn't understand why he's not invited."

Jack sighed. It was pretty clear why he wasn't invited. Hiccup did not like him to begin with, let alone after they found out that Kristoff had drugged them. Hiccup and Eugene try to stay as far away from him as possible.

"Could you just run it by Hic?" Elsa asked. "Just run it by him."

Jack glanced at her. She was crazy to think Hiccup would agree. "For me?" She added.
