Kat pov

We went into my room. A cream pie flew out of no where and hit me in the face. "Cole! Cora!" I was mad. "Get it?" Cora asked behind the door. "All the juicy footage." Cole said. "You two are so dead." I said beginning to chase them. I locked them in their room.

I went back to my room. Luke was holding my bow. "I hope you didn't mind." he said. "No my dad carved it for me. It was my seventh birthday present. He disappeared a few weeks later." I said.

Loki pov

I put the bow in its case. "I'm here if you need to talk." I said. "Thanks Luke." Kat said. If only she knew who I was. "Mom's home." Cole said. "I'll be right back." Kat said and left. I sighed as the painful memories of Asgard seemed to disappear. She had no idea what she meant to me.

Kat pov

I unlocked the twins' room. "Mom Luke's here." I said. "I want to meet him." She said. "Okay." I said. I was nervous. i went into my room. "Luke my mom wants to meet you." I said. "Okay." he said. We walked to kitchen. "Mom this is Luke. Luke this is......." "call me Anya." my mom said. I inwardly groaned. Mom only went on a first name basis with someone she expected to date me. Someone knocked on the door. "I'll get it." I said. I opened the door. "Uh.... Kat we uh... need you tonight a huge one." Ranger Allen said. "Okay Al." I said. I walked into my room and grabbed my bow. "Not again!" mom said. "This one is huge I have to go in." I said. "Okay be safe." she said.

As I walked the silent deserts I thought about Luke. I hope he wasn't mad at me for ditching him. I heard the light tread of paws and ducked behind a rock. I snuck a peek. Holy shit that thing was huge. It was the size of a horse with paws the size of plates. It cocked its head toward me. I brought my head behind the rock, my heart hammering. "I know you're there. I don't want to hurt anyone." it said. I stiffened. It talked? the coyote put its paws on my chest. "Who are you?" I said. I almost said what are you but I thought that would be rude. "I am Nyx. I am a coyote spirit." It said. "Are you a boy or girl?" I asked. "I'm a girl." she said.
