Loki pov

"Let it fly." the stranger said. Again the girl did as she was told. Again I would watch her silver eyes and know it was her or me.

I woke up as I have since I fell from Asgard. The dream played again in my head. The girl seemed so real but I knew I had been dreaming. "You know she's real go find her." Siste, the last of the fire people said. "I don't know where to look." I said. She rolled her eyes. "Listen remember that town the destroyer almost leveled? well near there is a girl with silver eyes." She said. "On Midgard?" I asked. "Yes asshole. sorry I'm trying to get you used to Midgard talk." Siste said. "Ok."

I said.

"Since people know about you and Thor you need to look less like a god. She's 14 years old, Midgard years. So you need to look younger." Siste said. I changed my appearance according to her specifications. "perfect. The story is we're fraternal twins. My name is Sarah and yours is Luke." She said. She lit a fire and we stepped through it.

Kat pov

I drew my arrow, hating myself. "let it fly." the man who had my father said. Again I did as I was told. Again the man resigned to his fate. I killed him night after night.

I woke up with a start. I did since the small town near her was leveled by the Destroyer from Asgard. "Kat get up first day of high school." my mom said. Ugh. Another year of torture because of my eyes. They were silver.

My mom sent the twin terrors, Cole and Cora. The were the king and queen of pranks. They were only second graders. "Get out so I can change." I said. I put on a sand colored tank top with matching leggings and my hunting boots. I stroked my coyote fur blanket I made my self.

I met up with my best friend and neighbor, Ciara. "There are new kids. A brother and sister." She said. Ciara loved to spread gossip. When I met her I thought she'd be rude to me but she surprised me. That strawberry blond surprised me. One of the seniors drove by and yelled "hey moon eyes mars called they want you back." "shut up Jackass." I yelled back.

When we got to school I saw the jocks already picking on the new boy. I bit my lip deciding on whether I should get involved. Then they hit him. Those sons of a bitch actually hit him. "Pick on someone your own size." I said. "Whatcha gonna do moon eyes?" the jackass from earlier said. "Shoot you with my bow." I said. He stopped laughing. They all knew I had shot a coyote from three miles away with that bow. "You don't have it." He said. "Don't I?" I took my bow, bow string, and an arrow out. "You wouldn't." he said. I assembled the bow in seconds. "Try me." I said. I loosed the arrow a bit. They ran after kicking the new kid. "I'm Kat." I said. "I'm Luke." He said. Our eyes met they were emerald. "Oh Luke are you okay. Hi I'm Sarah." His sister said. I guessed they were family. He had black hair and emerald eyes. She had red hair and blue eyes.

Loki pov

"Don't let them bug you. just make it seem like a compliment." The girl of my dreams said. the girl next to her cleared her throat. "Luke this is Ciara. Ciara Luke." Kat said. "Hi it's nice to meet you." Ciara said. An older man was passing out papers. He gave me a schedule of sorts. "Wow we have the same classes. Well we can get lost together." Kat said. "Sure." I said. Finally something good after my fall.

Kat pov

Luke was a shy kid but I sensed under neath his shyness he was a prankster. We went to room 312 on the third floor. "I guess you were homeschooled." I said when he asked how school worked. "Yeah." he said. "You're lucky. You never had to deal with idiots." I said.

I found out that Luke and Sarah lived with their mom. Luke seemed interested in archery. "There's practice after school if you want to come." I said. "That would be great." He said.

The end of school couldn't come fast enough. Luke and I walked to the green. In reality it was the brown. In New Mexico there isn't a lot of rain for a portion of the year. "Hey ranger Kat." Coach nickels said. "Hi coach. can my friend watch?" I asked. "Sure. if he can shoot well he's on the team." Coach said. "Do you know how to shoot?" I asked. "No." he said. "I can show you." I said.
