SYNOPSIS
Avra Bennett never wanted to be Brookfield High's Hall Monitor, but when the unwanted title is forced upon her, she quickly discovers it's far from a simple responsibility. Strange occurrences begin to plague her—whispers in empty hallways, cryptic notes left in her locker, and shadows that vanish when she turns around.
Desperate to make sense of it all, Avra teams up with her best friend, Jax, whose sister was once a victim of this very role. Determined to uncover the truth behind what happened to his sister, and Avra, they delve into the mysterious pattern on madness and disappearances connected to the Hall Monitor Role.
As they dig deeper, Avra's grip on reality begins to slip, and she starts to question whether the real danger lies in the school—or within her own mind. With time running out, Avra and Jax must uncover Brookfield's twisted secrets before she becomes the next victim.

DEDICATION
To the one girl in my senior year who said I couldn't write cohesively and that my writing barely deserved a passing grade. Thank you, because I got that final grade because of your remarks, and I continue to write for fun while you're losing interest in doing it for your degree.
To the most amazing DreamlandCommunity for being one of the few reasons that I keep writing. Love you forever more.
