Chapter 23

"HOLY! You can fly now!?" Shouted Bryce, amazed.

"It's Lucius's spell not mine," Jasper said.

"How dare you! Stupid Claveland!" Kayle shouted angrily.

"Bryce, leave her to me! Go help the others!" Shouted Jasper, gathering his magic.

"You can't fight her alone," Bryce said.

"She's not so strong" Jasper said, looking at Bryce.

"Jasper.. I think it's too late for me to go now" Bryce said, looking at The Bloody Moon who had surrounded both of them from behind.

"2 vs 10? It's not a big deal" Jasper said, looking at the enemies.

"Don't forget about Kayle," Bryce said.

"Just give the damn spear!" Kayle shouted angrily.

"Never!" Shouted Bryce.

"Well, it's your choice! Guards, attack them!" Shouted Kayle.

"Bryce, let's do this!" Shouted Jasper, gathering his magic.

     The enemies started attacking both of them.

"Praesidium," Jasper said, casting his protective spell.

Bryce then threw his spear at them.

"Ignis pila" said one of the guards, directing the spell at the spear.

"It's not working!" Shouted the other guards.

     Bryce defeated the enemies easily. Kayle realized that and ran towards both of them.

"Jasper, she's coming!" Shouted Bryce in panic.

“Ventum nent,” Jasper said, casting his wind spell on Kayle.

     Kayle quickly dodged the spell and attacked Jasper's protective spell.

"Jasper, there's something wrong with her," Bryce said, confused.

"Yeah, her strength has increased," Jasper said, holding back his protective spell.

     Jasper's protection spell then cracks.

"Bryce, you know how to cheat on exams, right?" Jasper asked, looking at Bryce.

"Hell yeah" Bryce replied.

“Let's do that,” Jasper said, stopped using his protective spell and running backwards.

"You mean now?" Bryce asked, shocked.

     The protection spell shattered and Bryce immediately blocked Kayle's attack.

"How many times do I have to say? You can't win!" Kayle shouted angrily.

"Let's see" Bryce said, smiling.

     Bryce then kicks Kayle in the leg.

"NOW!" Shouted Bryce.

“Niger ignis,” Jasper said, directing his dark spell at Kayle.

     Jasper's spell hits Kayle and she then thrown away.

"We did it?" Bryce asked, looking at Jasper.

"I doubt it" replied Jasper, looking at Kayle.

     Kayle was unharmed but her eyes turned black.

"FUCK! How could you be all right!" Bryce shouted, shocked.

"I'm surprised that you guys made me do this" Kayle said, smiling.

     Kayle then ran very fast and attacked Jasper.

"How could she–?" Jasper asked in shock.

     Jasper was stabbed by Kayle's claw and then she threw him away.

"Jasper!" Shouted Bryce, shocked.

"Now, it's your turn!" Shouted Kayle, smiling.

     Bryce was about to throw his spear at her but Kayle attacked him first. He then broke Bryce's hand.

"SHIT!" Bryce shouted in pain.

"Time to get my spear back" Kayle said, smiling.

“Aqua iecit,” Jasper said, directing his water spell at Kayle.

     Kayle easily avoided it.

"I won't let you" said Jasper breathlessly.

"You never gave up, did you?" Kayle asked, looking at Jasper.

     Kayle ran over to Jasper and hit him. Jasper then fell.

"You're just like your mother" Kayle said, stepping on Jasper.

"You know my mom?" Jasper asked, shocked.

"She's the reason why your father left my mother!" Kayle shouted angrily.

"We're siblings?" Jasper asked, confused.

"You finally noticed it" replied Kayle.

     Meanwhile in the east side.

"Tyler, a little help here?" Asked Kyle, attacking his enemies.

"I can't, they're from everywhere." Tyler replied, shooting at them with his bow.

"José?" Asked Kyle.

"I'm also busy here" replied Josè, attacking them.

"Let me help" Alice said, looking at Kyle.

"What can you do?" Asked Kyle, smiling.

"Niger ignis" Alice said, defeating several enemies in front of them.

"Seriously??" Said Kyle, shocked.

"Kyle, there's still too many of them" Brook said, confused.

"How many of our pack are left?" Asked Kyle, looking at Brook.

"Not many, because many of us have lost" Brook replied.

     Meanwhile Rubeus continued to search for the location of his people and he finally found them. But he saw Raven there and his people who were trying to fight Raven. Without thinking long, Rubeus ran towards them and helped them.

"Vinculum reptile" said Rubeus, casting his spell at Raven.

     Raven realizes that and evades the spell.

"Here we go again" said Raven, smiling.

     They were happy to see Rubeus there.

"As a High Warlock, I will protect my people, no matter what it costs," said Rubeus with a serious face.

"You can't even beat me" said Raven, smiling.

"I'm not the same as before" said Rubeus.

"Let's see what you got" said Raven, looking at Rubeus.

"Carla, lead them out" said Raven, looking at Carla.

"Roger that" said Carla.

     They then rushed out.

"High Warlock, let me help you" said Nala, looking at Rubeus.

"Go with them, it's an order" said Raven.

     Nala then goes outside.

"Nigrum venti" said Raven, casting his dark spell.

"Praesidium" said Rubeus, casting his protective spell.

     Rubeus focused on gathering his magic. His eyes then turned yellow and his magic increased.

"Aqua iecit II" said Rubeus, directing his water spell at Raven.

     The spell hits Raven.

"I know it's just a clone, brother. The real one is behind me" said Rubeus, gathering his magic.

"Ignis iecit II" said Rubeus, hitting Raven with his fire spell.

     Raven is thrown against the wall and Rubeus then binds him with his spell. Raven then gathered his magic to unleash his greatest magic.

Nala! Now! ”Shouted Rubeus.

"Sigillum magicae!" Shouted Nala, sealing Raven's magic.

"Let go of me!" Shouted Raven angrily.

"Take a nap, brother" said Rubeus, smiling.

     Rubeus then casts the spell and makes Raven pass out.

"Let's go there immediately to help fight The Bloody Moon.
