Wattpad SciFi page as started a series of competitions. The second one is to write a Six Words story. Easy you would say. Not so I would answer. These six words need to make sense, have an explicit or subtle implicit Science Fiction theme…

Counting a whole story in six words… not an easy task. I guess the result of a good six words story would be for the reader to be able to imagine the beginning and the end, the voyage in between, with just these words as sustenance for the imagination…

The six words need to give enough, not too much, and definitively not too few, information. And it has to be pleasant… It is, in any case, an interesting exercise in style…

Well, I tried to get something coming out of my puzzled head… six words… hopefully they make some sense. So far, I was able to produce these:

“Future unknown. Past redrawn. Absolute voyage.”

“ADAM: Artificial Device Assuming Mankind”

“Supersonic sleigh; Biomechanics reindeers; Galaxywide deliveries.”
