Jade's P.O.V

I wake up at eight and go into the kitchen. My dad was at work, I think.  Wait what's today!? I see it's a Thursday and I shake my head with a light chuckle. He doesn't have work on Wednesdays, Thursdays,and  Sundays.

        He walks in and says "Oh your up, how did you sleep". I hesitate not sure to tell him but I then say "good, I slept like a rock". He laughs and makes some coffe and I ask "can you make some tea please". He nods and pulls a random tea thing out and pours it in the kettle.

             "So what do you want to do today" I ask. My dad smirks and says "I was thinking about letting you meet someone who made my life terrible at first but then they made it perfect". I knew who he was talking about.

         I nod and say "when are we going I wanna look like a boss when we go". He laughs and says "were leaving at two". I nod and say "I'm going to watch some homestruck in my room now".

        As soon as I walk away the kettle whistles letting us know the tea is ready. I grab my tablet and say "on second thought I'll watch it in here with my delicious tea." I pour the tea and I ask "dad, you wanna watch some homestruck with me".

        He nods and says "I have to make a phone call first and I'll be back to see what happens to KarKat". Thats his favorite homestruck character. I can't actually decide which one is my favorite. He comes back and we watch a few episodes of homestuck.
