I blinked adjusting my eyes to the rather harsh lighting. I looked down and I was perfectly dry.

I looked over and saw a freckled face staring at me. Tears pricked at his green emerald eyes.

"You're awake!" He smiled weakly
"Yeah...are you a nurse?" I asked a bit confused
"What? N-no...Charles it's John" he said taking my hand in his
"Okay well John...I don't know who Charles is but I could help you find him" I offered, gently pulling my hand away

This John guy started to sob. I rubbed his back "it's okay. We'll find Charles"
"You are Charles!" He said
"No. I'm not." I said a bit nervous
"Then who are you?!" He asked getting annoyed
"I-...." I thought for a second "I don't know.."

A nurse walked in "how is everything?"
"He doesn't know his own fucking name!" John shouted
"Hey! Don't cuss! We'll find Charles" I said calmly
"No we won't. He's gone." John cried "it's all my fault too!"

I offered a soft smile "I'm sure Charles will be happy to see you. We'll find him"
"Charles.." John cried into his hands

"He's suffering from loss of memory. It should be temporary. He should regain his memory by tomorrow morning" the nurse said
"Really?!" John hugged me
"Please let go-"

John let go of me and left the room.

"Sir please rest. It's late" the nurse said. I nodded and rolled over attempting to sleep.

I hope that John guy finds Charles. He seemed worried.
