"ok first battle is Falkner and bugsy vs. Erika and Blaine if you guys are ready you may begin it will be a tag team battle two Pokemon for each gym leader"

"Go Scyther" bugsy yelled

"You too dodrio" Falkner shouted

"Then I choose tangela" Erika said

"And I choose Ninetails" Blaine said

"Dodrio use drill peck on tangela" Falkner yelled

Dodrio aimed it's attack at tangela and before Erika could tell it to dodge it was sent backwards

"Tangela are you alright" Erika said

"Tang" tangela said standing straight up proudly

"Alright then tangela use stun spore on dodrio,and Ninetails use firespin on Scyther" Erika and Blaine said together

"Dodrio jump high and dodge, Scyther use double team then use slash on on Ninetails" Falkner and bugsy said together

Dodrio was able to dodge tangelas stun spore

Scyther used double team and Ninetails looked around itself confused and unsure about which was the real one

"Ninetails use flame thrower on all of them" Blaine commanded

It spit out a powerful flamethrower it hit them all but was confused to see no Scyther any where, when it finally looked up above it, it was hit with a powerful slash that made it fly into a nearby wall unconscious

"Ninetails!" Blaine yelled

"Ninetails is unable to battle Scyther is the winner" the judge announced

"Way to go bugsy" Falkner said

"Thanks Falkner" bugsy said happily

"Ok thanks ninetails" Blaine said before pulling out another pokeball "go magmar I choose you"

Magmar popped out full of strength

"Dodrio use tri attack on tangela"

"Tangela hurry and dodge it, and magmar use fire punch on Scyther" they both shouted

Tangela got hit unconscious before it could dodge it and Scyther was hit and took alot of damage

"Tangela is unable to battle dodrio is the victor"

"Thank you tangela you did amazing, now go Weepinbell" Erika yelled "use vine whip on scyther"

"Dodrio intercept it with fury attack"

Weepinbell pulled it's now damaged vines back towards it and was hit by dodrios fury attack straight on almost knocking it out

"Hang in there Weepinbell" Erika said sweating nervously

"Scyther use fury attack on magmar, and dodrio use peck on Weepinbell"

"Dodge it magmar and use fire blast on Scyther, Weepinbell dodge I...." But before Erika could finish Weepinbell was hit

Weepinbell wobbled alittle bit before falling down unconscious

"Weepinbell is unable to battle dodrio is the victor"

"You did great Weepinbell, return,I'm so sorry Blaine but you are on your own now" Erika said sadly

"It ok Erika you did your best I know you did" Blaine said

"Ok Falkner let's finish this" bugsy said

"Right, dodrio use drill peck and Scyther use fury attack"

"Magmar use fire blast"

Scyther wasn't able to dodge and got hit knocking it unconscious, dodrio was only grazed by it

"Scyther is unable to battle magmar is the victor"

"Thanks Scyther you did great" bugsy said "ok come on out spinarak"

"Magmar use fire punch on dodrio"

It hit dodrio straight on it fell down struggling to get back up

"Get back up dodrio" Falkner said

"Hurry finish him of magmar use fire blast"

It hit dodrio and knocked it out

"Dodrio is unable to battle magmar is the victor

"Thank you dodrio you fought a great battle now get some rest" said Falkner "come on out Pidgeot"

"Magmar use fire punch on spinarak"

Magmar headed towards spinarak

"Spinarak use string shot slow magmar down"

Magmar was soon coated with thick sticky webs that made it hard to move

"Magmar heat up your body burn the string shot off you"

"Pidgeot use wing attack, and spinarak use poison sting"

Magmar was hit by both attacks it caused it to collapse on its belly unconscious

"Magmar is unable to battle the round 1 match is over the winners are gym leader bugsy and Falkner from the Johto region"

"Yeah we did it" bugsy high fives Falkner

Falkner looked over at Janine who was in the stand watching she winked at him giving him a thumbs up, he blushed but smiled back
