  CAMERON'S POV: 

My head was aching and my body sore, I fell really bad on the ground. Everything seemed happening in slow motion and the noise around was irritating my ears, I looked around and saw an unconscious body laying in the middle of the street, and some people running towards the body to look what happened. Suddenly I feel my heart aching and tears falling on my cheeks.

"SHAWN!!" He didn't move.

I feel my body sweating in fear as I ran towards him. I couldn't move any step further when I saw my love covered with bruises all over his body, his clothes are ripped and his eyes are closed.

Seeing him like this breaks my heart into pieces. I can't lose him, he can't die, I love him so much, I need him, we can't end like this. I walked closer and sat next to him, I lifted his head over my lap and caress his beautiful face before I kissed him softly on the lips.

"Please Shawn stay with me, I love you so much babe. Hold on please" I said sobbing.
"Oh my God Cameron, what happened?" Aaron came running next to us.
"A car, he saved me" I couldn't say anything else.
"Oh God. Stay calm Cameron, everything is going to be okay. They already called to 911, he  is going to be fine" Aaron said trying to calm me, he wipped my tears with his thumbs.
"I can't lose him Aaron. I can't" I kissed Shawn's hair and rested my forehead on his.

Couple of minutes later the sirens of the ambulance became louder and louder. Thank god. I took Shawn's hand to kiss. The ambulance parked next to us and the paramedics ran towards us with the ambulance stretcher. Aaron pulled me away holding close so they can work and place Shawn into the emergency car.

"A family member or a friend is here to accompany the victim?" A nurse asked looking around.
"Yes, he will go. He is the boyfriend" Aaron replied pushing me to the ambulance. 
"Okay, let's go" the nurse held her hand to me helping me to hop in.

The ambulance was going in high speed while the paramedics in the back was giving Shawn support with the oxygen mask. In the middle of the road the heart rate monitor started to beep louder and his palpitations began to decrease. I panicked and cried holding my arms in desperation. One of the doctors ripped Shawn's shirt and asked for the defibrillator.

He yelled us to step back as he press the machine onto Shawn's chest. With any responses he tried twice more and his vital signs started to go at his normal again, everyone sighed and I held his hand to kiss.

"Cam..." Shawn's voice came out low and raspy making everyone to look up him. He barely could open his eyes.
"Yes my love, I'm right here" I said kissing him on his cheek, I could help but cry.
"I... I..." he tried to speak but his voice betrayed him.

"Shhhh don't make any effort okay? I love you" I brushed his hair looking into his eyes until they closed again.

Once we reached the hospital, the paramedics took him to de ER and a nurse told me to wait for him in the waiting room. I sat trying to hold back my tears. A bit later the door was opened and Shawn's father with a woman entered in a hurry, she look alike Shawn I must say.

"I want to see my son right now" she spoke up scaring the receptionist.
"They're taking care of him right now Lady, please calm down"
"Are you telling me to calm down? My son has been crashed and you just told me to calm down? I want to see my son right now" Now I can see from who Shawn took his explosive personality.
"Karen, let's wait" Shawn's dad tried to calm his wife. "I'm sorry" he muttered to the receptionist.

They sat next to me, hugging each other as Shawn's mom started to sob.

We waited in silence any news about him but nothing until now, few minutes later Nash and Aaron entered the room, Shawn's parents noticed them.

"How is he?" Nash asked me calmly.
"I don't know, we don't have any news since we came" I tried my best to not break down in tears.
"Do you know my son?" Shawn's mom asked us.
"Yes, we are his friend and he is..."
"His friend as well" I interrupted Aaron, I thought it was better because I wasn't aware if they knew about his sexuality.
"Oh I'm  sorry, I really don't know who are my son's friends lately. You were there the the accident happened?"
"Yes, I came with him in the ambulance"
"And what happened? Is he hurt badly?" She stood up walking towards me.
"Well..."

A doctor entered the room asking for Shawn's  relatives. His parents walked next to the doctor and they talked for a little while. He asked them to go with him and Shawn's mother looked at me. She called me with her hand, probably because I told her that I came with him in the ambulance. We followed the doctor through a big hallway until we reached a room. He opened the door and my heart stopped again when I saw Shawn in that state, bandages, stitches, wounds and machines all over him.

"How is he?" Shawn's dad asked holding his wife onto his chest, the woman was crying again.
"He is in high risk right now, during the crash his head suffered damages and hemorrhages but the worst part is that he broke his spine and he probably won't be able to walk again" After hearing that I couldn't hold in anymore. I started to cry.
"How-how is that? He won't be able to walk again?" Shawn's mother asked again.
"Unfortunately that's most probably result, however there is a surgery that may help him to recover his senses and movements"

"What are you waiting for then? You can start and proceed with the surgery" Shawn's dad stated.
"Sir, unfortunately this hospital has not the equipment for that kind of surgery" The doctor responded and Shawn's parents started to get nervous.
"So please can you be competent for once and find  hospital where they can proceed with the surgery?" I admire Shawn's dad, he is holding his anger so well.
"So..." the doctor was interrupted by a nurse that entered in the room.
"I'm sorry for this but there is girl asking for your authorization, she said she is the girlfriend of the patient" I can't believe she is here.
"Girlfriend?" Karen asked confused.
"I'm going to talk with here, I'll be right back" I said wiping my tears.

I walked back to the waiting room deep breathing to calm down. Once I reach I saw Camila yelling at the receptionist while Nash and Aaron are embracing each other in the corner. I walk passing them without any word and grab Camila's arms pulling her out of the room.

"Let go, you are hurting me you idiot" she yelled pulling her arm away.
"What are you doing here?"
"The father of my son suffered an accident and I want to see how he is" She said abruptly, the part of Shawn being the father still hurt.
"He is not doing well and there are risks, he may not be able to walk again so you need to stop this scandal" she seemed shocked with the news.
"What? This is your fault. It should be you, not him" she started to punch me on my chest.
"He saved me because he loves me, you really need to give up on him because not even a child with make him stay by your side" I held her wrists.

"Don't make me laugh, he doesn't love you. You are just a pussyboy that he likes to fuck. He is going to leave you in no time to be with the mother of his son. You are useless" Her words seemed like knives to my heart. I don't know what happened to me at that moment, I was tired and sad and after her words the anger takeover me and I push her to the wall and she fell on the floor.

"Camila Oh God, I'm sorry" I said once I noticed what I did. I tried to help her but she pushed me away.
"Stay away from me you are crazy" she yelled and looked down between her thighs.
"I didn't wanted to hurt you..." I couldn't say another word when I noticed that she was bleeding.
"My baby" she hugged her tummy and started to cry.
