Sunjin POV

        Did I hear him right??? Kiss me??? >//<

        "Sunjin?"

        "You want to k...kiss me?"

        "I've always wanted to kiss you."

        >//< ....... I took a deep, calming breath before leaning over and kissing him. My heart began to speed up. The man I was supposed to love for all time was right in front of me dying and there was nothing I could do to save him. A tear escaped my eyes.

        "What is going on here?" I heard Ye-ryung scream from the courtyard. I quickly separated from Myung-dae and tossed the documents he gave me into my bag just as the doors to the room flew open. "What the Hell are you doing here?" she screamed at me. Jealous much?

        "I sent for her" Myung-dae said. "I wasn't feeling well."

        "You should have sent for Donghae" she cooed. "We would have come rushing back."

        "I didn't want to ruin your trip. I know how much you love visiting the temple." He smiled as he looked up at Donghae. "Thank you for always looking after my wife on her trips to the temple."

        "Anything for you" he smiled back at him. "You are my best friend after all."

        "Darling, I think it would be best if you let Donghae take a look at you."

        I grabbed a simple antacid from my bag and turned to face the lying bitch. "Actually, I've already given him a thorough check up" I smiled. "He just has a small cold. The cough should go away within a week. He has been having an upset stomach so he should take an antacid either with his meals or just before. I'll leave this dose here for your morning meal and I will drop by tomorrow afternoon with a full month's prescription." I saw her look to Donghae and then said "If you don't believe me, you could always have Donghae check him out as well." I placed the dose of medication on the side table and then grabbed my bag. "I've got to get home so that I can prepare your prescription. If there are any other problems, please let me know right away. Good bye" I bowed and then turned and left.

        As I made my way to the the gates of the house, I could hear Ye-ryung and Donghae whispering to each other.

        Yes, I could hear them. Our ears are much better than humans.

Donghae POV

        "Do you think she knows?" Ye-ryung asked.

        "Either she does and is lying, or......"

        "Or what?"

        "She's gotten really stupid in her old age."

        "Old? She still looks like she is twenty! I don't know how she does it!"

        Have you forgotten what Dr. Cho said about her?"

        "Yeah, yeah, she was poisoned and that he just barely saved her."

        "And her appearance was just an unfortunate side effect. She ages like the rest of us internally."

        "Still, I'd love to look that young again."

        "There is no need for that. You are beautiful just the way you are."

        "Oh, thank you!" she smiled. "But what about her? What are we going to do?"

        "I'll have one of my guys follow her and make sure she doesn't try anything funny. Besides, my brother is the magistrate. Do you really think he would do anything to harm his sweet little brother?"

        "There is always the regional office."

        "It would take three days to get there and three days to get back. She wouldn't be able to get there and back if she is going to be delivering a prescription tomorrow."

        "What about her servants? They could make the trip for her!"

        "Relax! That is why I said that I would send someone to watch her. If they see anyone leaving the house, they will take care of it. I promise." I kissed her tenderly. "Now go and get some rest."

Sunjin POV

        "So, you think you are going to watch me all night? We'll see about that" I chuckled to myself.

        I rushed home and quickly lit the lanterns in my office. "What's going on now?" Siwan asked as he appeared in the doorway.

        I faced him and placed a finger to my lips. Then I pulled out a piece of paper and wrote I'm being followed and then said "Myung-dae has an upset stomach."

        "So?" he asked rather annoyed.

        I widened my eyes and quickly wrote You little brat! He chuckled. Wait till I get back! You won't be laughing then. "I need to make a prescription for him."

        "Just give him one of the ones you already have" he scoffed.

        I'm going to the regional magistrate's office. Please try and make it look like I'm working in here all night. "You know how he is. Normal medications don't usually work for him. I've got to make a special prescription." I closed the windows so that the spys wouldn't be able to look in.

        "You've got to be kidding me!"

        "No, I'm not."

        "I don't understand why you always help him out!"

        "Just go! You know how it is when I'm working! I don't need you messing up my prescriptions!"

        "Fine! I got it!"

        Thank you! I quickly grabbed my bag, gave him a hug, transformed into a fox and took off for the regional office.
