Fact One: Lucas said in an interview that he was influenced by a Japanese jidaigeki TV program and liked the word, leading to the conclusion that the Japanese term for period drama inspired his creation of the Jedi, the religious peacekeeping brother-hood to which Obi-wan Kenobi belongs.
Fact Two: Princess Leia's pastery-shape hairstyle has been widely copied and parodied. While the style has been linked to historic Iberian sculptures and the tradition as fashions of Hopi Indian women. Lucas said that the look originated from Mexico referencing "a kind of southwestern panchos villa women revolutionary task". Whatever its beginnings, Carrie Fisher toward it a pain, saying she felt it made her face rounder and took two hours everyday to create.
Fact Three: Yoda may be a Star Wars favourite, but Lucas deliberately lets on little about him to retain an mystery. For the third film, ROTJ - Daniels was awarded with a new $300,000 lightweight costume, after it's 13-kilo predecessor made him feel like "a cross between a crippled person and a baby".

Fact Seven: According to Lucasfilm, from companies including Denver, general malls, and Hasbra, Star Wars toy franchise has a total life time gross about $9 million.
Fact Eight: Star Wars Facebook page has over 8.1 million likes while it's Twitter account, StarWars has over 1.1 million followers.
Fact Nine: The first Star Wars stand-alone movie, starring Felicity Jones and directed by Gareth Edwards, will be released on December 26 2016
Fact Ten: Rogue One will be the title of the first Star Wars spin-off film, it was announced 2/04/2015.
Fact Eleven: Disney has also confirmed that Rian Johnson, best known for the inventive time-travel thriller 'Looper' (2012) will write and direct Star Wars: Episode V11, the follow-up to this years The Force Awakens.
Fact Twelve: The film, which will pick up the story after the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is set for release on May 26 2017, 40 years and a day since the release of Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977
Fact Thirteen: The colour of a Jedi's Lightsaber is dependent on their connection with the Force and their chosen Kayber crystal.
Fact Fourteen: The eclipse was a super star destroyer dreadnaught used in 6 ABY as the resurrected Palpatine.
Fact Fifteen: The imperial anthem was the song used during Empire Day celebrations and sounded like an upbeat imperial march.
Fact Sixteen: Agen Kolar was a sabrak Jedi master who accompanied Mace Windu to arrest Palpatine.
Fact Seventeen: Slave 1 was originally used as a police ship on Oovo IV, a prison asteroid.
Fact Eighteen: Yoda built his Lightsaber with the aid of the architect droid Huyang.
Fact Ninteen: The son represented the dark side of the Force, the daughter the light side, and the father kept the balance between them.
Fact Twenty: Jedi initiates were sorted into clans for training. One, the Clawmouse, was the clan Ahsoka Tano belonged to.
Fact Twenty-One: The Jedi originated on Tython as a Philosophical study group.
Fact Twenty-Two: Darth Maul had two brothers, Savage and Feral. Feral was killed by Savage.
Fact Twenty-Three: Clone Stormtroopers were engineered to have unquestioningly loyalties and no individuality.
Fact Twenty-Four: 100 Years before the battle of Naboo all Potentium followers were expelled from the Jedi order. Followers of the Potentium believed that the Force was inherently good.

Fact One: When fully dressed and in makeup, Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley resembled each other so much as Queen Padmé Amidala that Knightley's mother, who visited the set, had troubles with finding her own daughter.
Fact Two: Queen Amidala's red throne room dress took eight weeks to design.

Fact One: In 2014, Star Wars the original trilogy has been re-published and sold in book stores everywhere in Hungary. Apparently, the Hungarians designed such amazing book covers for it that George Lucas himself bought the three books.

Fact One: The trash compactor scene was used with real garbage! The Chewbacca suit stunk like garbage for the rest of filming "A New Hope" as a result.

Fact One: The Jedi were originally the 'Je 'daii'. They followed the 'Je 'daii code' which was slightly different than that if the 'Jedi code'. They lean more towards balance between the force and were even encouraged to connect with both the light and dark sides. They were often compared to the Titans of Greek mythology, who came before the gods and before the world. The Je' daii were basically one of the earliest group of force-users. They were even able to marry, have children, and study more than just combat. They were more of a monastic order. The Sith (race) even in harmony, even tutoring padawans, with the Je' daii for a long time.
Fact Two: George Lucas wrote a list of characters he didn't want to kill off. These mostly included his own favourites. But sadly, Chewbacca didn't make the list and was killed in the expanded universe.

Fact One: There are four Star Wars actors in the Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey: Hayden Christensen, Mark Hamill, Samuel L. Jackson and James Earl Jones.
Fact Two: The syringe on the interrogation droid Vader uses on Leia is from a British company, so Vader had to have gone to another galaxy for this.
