Fact One: Harrison Ford was about 34's old, Mark Hamill was 24 and Carrie Fisher was around 19 years young in "A New Hope".

Fact Two: In the trash compactor scene, originally George Lucas wanted an jellyfish like for the trash compactor monster but the budget was low so it was tiny stick with an eyeball.

Fact Three: Carrie Fisher thinks Star Wars is better than Star Trek (And it is, no offence)

Fact Four: Frank Oz (Voice of Yoda) was in 'Dark Crystal' (VOICE) another famous film.

Fact Five: There were no stunt doubles for the scene which Luke and Leia get across the shaft. It was done by Mark and Carrie themselves and only in one take.

Fact Six: It's official, Billie Catherine Lourd (Carrie Fisher's daughter) will not play Leia, it was rumours. (Bug seriously how cool would that be!) And no Felicity Jones won't be in episode 7 she'll be in Rogue 1

Fact Seven: Harrison Ford deliberately didn't learn his lines for the intercom conversation in the cell block, so it would sound spontaneous.

Fact Eight: Kenny Baker has said that often when the cast and crew broke for lunch they would forget he was in the R2-D2 outfit leave him behind.

Fact Nine: James Earl Jones and David Prowse, who play the voice and body of Darth Vader, have never met.

Fact Ten: The skeleton that threepio passes belongs to a Tatooine creature, a greater Rrayt Dragon. This artificial skeleton was left in the Tunisian desert, After filming and still lies there. During filming of Star Wars: Episode 2 Attack of the Clones the site was visited by the crew and the skeleton was still there.

Fact Eleven: Alec (Obi-Wan Kenobi) wanted to only portray in A New Hope because he didn't want to continue his 'Rubbish Lines' for so long.
