Chapter 5 Aiko's Story
Michael didn't say a word to me. He seem irritated. Which wasn't surprising.
"We're going to the mountain tomorrow morning" Michael finally said.
"I'm not leaving."
"I'm making you" Michael responded.
"Then I'll keep coming back! The so called beast is coming here! Then to all of the other kingdoms around here" I yelled.
"What do you mean "So called beast?" Diane asked.
"I don't know. But what attacked and killed my parents wasn't a monster that stomped on our buildings."
"Then what was it" Michael asked.
"Maybe you should ask my mom" I responded.
They both looked at me in pure surprise. I've never talked about my mother and neither did I want to.
When I was little I loved her for all the things she's done to get me as far as that one day..... but now that I'm older I know what she was trying do. Her and father both were trying to make a weapon. Something other kingdoms would be afraid of.... but made us feel normal. She told me that Akio was dying and was needed to be transfered into my body so she can stay alive. But she wasn't dying. She was as healthy as any other person in the 7 kingdoms. Our parents put us through so many painful things to make us the perfect weapon. But we both know. Once a twin..... always a twin....
Tears escaped my eyes. Thinking about my mother and sister brought so many horible times.
I jumped out of Diane's arms and walked a couple of steps ahead of them. I stopped and faced them.
"I'm a grown woman. I don't need any one holding my hand and fight my battles for me" I said raising my wings.
"Don't" Michael demanded.
"I'll be back."
I took flight in the night sky with only a little bit of energy. I looked down on all the people walking around in the dark streets.

As I flew to my old kingdom I thought about Kell. Wondering how he lost his memories. He couldn't of taken his own memories away.... could he? He didn't have the courage to do that to him self, right?
Kell was the only protection I had out in those woods. The only person I actually trusted. The guard was there but I didn't know him. So did Kell leave me to die?
I landed on the balcony of my parents room. I knocked on the door a couple of times waiting for someone to open it.
Rain drops started to fall from the clouds that formed above me. I knocked again and waited for a response. No one came.
I opened the window myself and walked in soaking wet. I made my way to the wardrobe and pulled the old dark wood doors open.
There were 2 bags of books and documents. I grabbed the bags and walked to the window. My whole body was beginning to feel numb.
