Toby's POV

I was carrying Soul around on my back and I was laughing like crazy, when I decided to drop her onto one of the bean bag chairs. After I did so I got really dizzy and I was tripping over my own feet.

"Wow that was a bad idea...I just got really dizzy all of a sudden..." I said and I ended up falling backwards and landed on top of Soul. She just continued to laugh and I just continued to laugh as well. I saw that Jeff and Ben had gone back to playing video games and E.J was just sleeping in one of the bean bag chairs scattered across Ben's room after playing a few video games with Jeff and Ben.

"Toby you can get off of me now!" Soul said in between breathes as she continued to laugh. She tried to get out from underneath me but I just made myself comfortable and she ended up giving up on the idea...I was so tired from last night. I guess I can take a nap for a few minutes.

"Man you're comfy Soul..." I said as I pulled my hood down and started to fall asleep.

But when I opened my eyes I was in a hospital...What is going on here!?...I looked down at me hands and saw that I was wearing a pair of jeans and a black T-shirt. Wait where are my hatchets and my hoodie and all of that!? I looked around and saw that I was laying in a hospital bed and my right arm was wrapped up in a lot of bandages...I looked next to me and saw that there was someone else here with me...I saw many machines and a heart beat monitor. I got out of the bed and I walked over to the bed and I nearly had a heart attack at what I saw...

It was my sister Lyra, and she was hooked up to all of these different machines and I could see her mangled body through the blankets. She looked at me and I smiled my nervous smile that I always had back when Sis was around. I grabbed her hand and she smiled at me. Her smile always had this weird effect on me and I would always calm down when she was with me.

"Are you okay Toby?" Lyra asked me when she saw my bandaged arm. I nodded my head and she just nodded her head in response. She looked over to the door and I saw Mom.

"Well I'm glad that you're okay Toby...Promise me that you'll go far in life Toby...Promise me..." Lyra said and I nodded my head and she just smiled at me before I heard the heart beat monitor go dead and I just stared in shock as she started to die right before my eyes.

"Lyra! Please wake up! Don't leave me please! You can't leave me like this! I-I won't let you die...Please don't die Sis...I-I c-can't loose you too like how we lost dad to the alcohol...P-please don't die...P-Please Sis..." I said as tears started to form into my eyes. I just stood there crying with Mom as I stood before my dieing sister.

A bunch doctors come storming into the room and I was pushed out of the room with Mom but I couldn't believe it...My Sister...The only who was here for me was gone and I couldn't save her...

I woke up but I didn't want to open my eyes..I didn't want to...But I felt

someone wipe away what felt like tears as they lifted my hood off of my face. I then felt the person kiss my forehead and pull my hood back down. I wrapped my arms around the person and I knew that right away that it was Soul. I fell asleep and started to recall the many times that Soul was happy and everything that has happened to her as I slept...

~~~Le time skip~~~

I woke up to see that everyone was asleep and I was the only one who was awake. I smiled when I saw that Soul was cuddled up to my chest and was sleeping nice and sound. I moved the hair out of her eyes and she just snuggled up to me even more. I chuckled quietly at how adorable she looked. I kissed her on top of her head before I carefully untangled myself from the blankets and stood up. I placed the blankets back over Soul and I walked over to the door but not before I looked back to see that she was still asleep. I decided to grab the plates that were scattered across the room before heading down to the kitchen to wash them.

When I entered I saw that the Expressionless was eating some of Soul's cooking from earlier...except it was heated up. She noticed me and walked over and sat at the counter. I started to wash the dishes and I thought I heard the Expressionless say something.

"Hm? Did you say something Expresy?" I asked as she just shook her head.

"No but I never thought that I'd get to see the day when Slendy would bring his child to live with him...She's such a sweet girl...To bad she had to live with such a horrible father figure..." She said as she shook her head in disgust.

"Wait. What are you talking about? What 'father figure'? What happened to Soul before she came here with us?" I asked her as she started to mutter something...

"Well I want you to know that Slendy already fixed some of it. But her father was abusive and was an alcoholic. She was made fun of during school and some kids would even follow her home and beat her up while her father just watched while laughing at his daughter, while she would come close to death many, many times...According to Slendy, Soul has the same disorders as you Toby. But I fear that Soul is a broken toy in need of fixing..." Expressionless said as I saw a few tears roll down her face.

"Hey it's okay Expresy...I promise that I'll be by Soul if something ever happens to her...I swear on my life that I'll protect her..." I said as I continued to wash the dishes. But when I was done, I felt a hand go onto my shoulder.

I looked up to see Slendy standing beside me with one of his hands on my shoulder. I started to get and uneasy feeling in my stomach as he did this...

"Toby I need to tell you something of great importance..." Slenderman said as he teleported me into the study with him. I sat down in one of the chairs as he did the same. I shifted uncomfortably in the chair waiting for him to tell what was up...

"As you know Toby, Soul has been broken since before she came here...I wanted to ask you something...Did anything happen last night after dinner? I heard her call for help but I didn't go because I was busy with some...very unwelcomed visitors..." Slender asked and he shifted uncomfortably in his chair as he said this. I was hesitant to say anything at first but Slender needed to know that way we can keep Soul better protected...

"Well actually there have been two incidents involving Soul..." I said as I bit my lip...He is not going to like the next part...

"And?..." Slender said as he looked at me expectantly.

"And in both of those incidents...Jane has attempted to kill Soul...Once by nearly stabbing her through the heart, and the second time...She tried to kill Soul by choking her while Ben, Jeff, E.J and I were asleep in Ben's room...Soul made breakfest for everyone and she set the food out on the table but I guess while she was making it Ben woke up and ate his at the table...But Soul brought up four plates with her when she went to go into Ben's room. One was for me, E.J, and Jeff while the other was for her...But I don't know what happened before I woke up though...I heard Soul pleading for me to help and when I woke up I saw that Jane was choking her and I instantly grabbed one of my hatchets and knocked Jane off of her. I managed to chase her off but I saw that Soul was on the ground and that she wasn't moving so I started to freak out. I-I nearly had a heart attack when she didn't respond...B-But she woke up after about five s-seconds and she was gasping for air...I-I was so happy when she was okay...But what I hadn't realised until she went into the bathroom was that she had somehow gotten a gash across her left cheek and I was worried that she had done it but she started to freak out and she told me that she didn't know how it happened or anything...But she's okay though and she's asleep right now...She fell asleep in one of Ben's bean bag chairs..." I said as I started to tic at the end of my story...

Slenderman got up and approached me. I just watched him as he walked up to me and embraced me in a hug. I hesitantly hugged him back and I could feel tears starting to stream down my face as I cried into his arms. He stroked my head with one of his tentacles and I could tell that he was very scared because I could feel him trembling slightly...I looked back up at him and he wiped away my tears as I calmed down somewhat.

"Don't cry Toby my child...I needed to know because I was afraid of this happening if I brought Soul here to soon. But I couldn't stand to see her in so much pain when she was with him. What I wanted to tell you was that I was going to enroll Soul into the school that was just outside the woods. I was going to enroll you, Ben, E.J, Jeff, and I was thinking maybe Silver if he was able to but I doubt that he'd want, to considering how shy he is..." Slenderman said and he broke the hug and went back to his desk and started to sort some paperwork but not before looking back at me.

"I wanted to know if you had any suggestions for who should go with you as well, and if I should just enroll Soul into a public school or if I should just home school her...I'm debating between the two right now but I had it arranged with the school to have all of your lockers next to each other so that you guys could see each other between classes. Plus the good thing is that they have grades 6th to 12th grade and they even have advanced classes, programs, and curricular activities...What do you think?" Slender said as he finished sorting the last of the papers.

"I think that'd be a great idea. She could make some 'normal' friends and she'd be able to interact with other people...May I suggest that Hoodie and Masky go? I mean Masky could be a teacher and one of the teachers could 'accidentally get into a severe accident' and Masky could be the replacement...I think that would allow Soul to be able to able to learn knowing that Maksy could help her with the work from that class and so on..." I suggested as I thought of all the possible ways to get Soul into a comfortable learning environment.

"I think that is a great idea! I could have Tim be one of the advance courses teacher and enroll you all into advance classes...That's a great idea Toby! I want you to go tell everyone what they're going to be doing but I don't want you to tell Soul though...I want to talk to her and tell her myself..." Slenderman said and I left to go tell everyone else what our next mission was...But I needed to know what subject Masky is best in...

I went over to Masky's room and saw that he was on his computer doing what ever it was that he was doing. I knocked on the partially open door and waited for Masky to notice me. I was getting impatient so I poked my head through the door and did my signature line that was just for Masky...

"Hey Masky! Hey!" I said and earned a groan from Masky. I smiled and laughed at his response.

"What do you want Toby? I'm busy..." Masky said as he went back to looking at his computer. I just let myself in and sat on his bed. Well...Here goes nothing...

"Masky what school subject do you know best?" I blurted out and earned a very confused look from Masky.

"What in the name of Zalgo do you what with that kind of information!?" Masky said with his voice rising a bit and I just looked back at him with a calm expression on my face.

I started to tell him what Slenderman told me and he just looked back at me with the same expression. His eyes widened at the part with the two encounters with Jane. As I went through the two scenarios and everything else, Masky became more and more interested in what was going on. When I was done he ran a hand through his brown hair and he just shook his head back and forth as he took it all in.

"Ok...I'll help...Is Soul really the daughter of Slenderman!? I mean she is nothing like him! She's very shy and not very socialable or-" Masky started to say but I cut him off almost immediately.

"Of course she is! She is just broken because of how that man treated her while she was under his care!" I said and Masky looked down at the ground in guilt as I said this...

"S-Sorry I didn't know...But I'm good with advanced literature and english though" Masky said and I sighed a sigh of relief and so did he.

"Hey can you look up the names of the current English and Literature teacher for the advance classes at the school that just outside the woods?" I asked as I realised that I would need to kill them tonight...Cause tonight is Sunday and tomorrow school would start up again.

"Ummm...Yeah I got it" Maksy said as he started to work on it before I could even tell him what I wanted him to do.

"Okay their names, or his name, is Aren Wolkes, age 38. He has blonde hair shortish, blue eyes, and he is apparently well built according to these pictures. he teaches both English and Literature. But he was part of all drama, reading, literature, or anything along those lines when it comes to his high school clubs and after school activities. He is an average student and he barely passed his finals but he passed the English and Literature finals perfectly though...He lives on WoodsBurrow Road 13309 and you'll find him on the second story of the apartment complex and his room number is 195 the second left and the third right once you get out of the elevator to go to his room...But you'll need a key card so use this..." Masky said as he handed me a gold plated room key card as he said this. I looked at it in confusion before he turned over to me handing me a slip of paper containing all of the information that I needed.

"That key card is your one way ticket into this guys room. I made it back when I was still sane and was working on the Marble Hornets with Jay and Alex...what a shame that it was never finished...But I made this so that I could get into their rooms when they were sleeping pull the most hilarious pranks on the idiots...Man wasn't that fun! But that little card key is the only way that you're going to be able to get to this guy..." Masky said as he turned back over to me. I nodded my head and started to leave but stopped when I forgot that I needed to also needed to tell the other that they had to do this as well...

"Hey Masky can you tell E.J, Jeff, Hoodie, Silver, and Ben what we're going to be doing for me please? I need to get this done before it gets late...We start tomorrow and Slendy already has everything ready to go if we want to do this..."I said as I walked out of the door and I could barely hear him as I walked out of his room but I still heard him.

"Okay I'll go do that" He said when I left. But soon after I left he exited his room and started to head towards the guys to tell them what they had to do while I went to go do my little side mission...
