Cesca's POV

Right now, I'm walking around the fog aimlessly, trying to find the others since the fog separates me from them.

I sent Trust out and she is now walking beside me, I would like to send Fang out too but he is sleeping in that pokeball of his.

"sh*t" I curse as I trip over something. I don't actually know what I trip over because I can't see much with the fog here, scratch that, I can't see anything in this fog.

"you know what, walking in this fog will get me nowhere, let's stop walking for now" I said to Trust and randomly sit on the ground.

"Cesca, look out!" someone shouted at me

"Huh?" I asked but when I look back, I see a flamethrower heading towards me.

"Duck!" this 'someone' instructed

I do as this person instructed and the flamethrower pass by my head. It's a good thing I did what this person said or else my hair might get burned and Trust is safe since she is sitting down so she didn't get hurt from the flamethrower.

"Are you okay?" the person suddenly asked from beside me which surprise me. At first, I can't identify who this person is but after staring at the person for a while, I have a guess on who it is.

"UFSA?" I ask for confirmation

"Yes, it's me" he confirmed

"Are you okay?" he ask me with the same question he ask before

"yeah I'm good, but my hair almost got burned!" I shouted at him

UFSA laughs, "it's not funny" I mutter

" Come on, we are going" he said as he hands me his hand to help me stand which I accept.

"Where?" I questioned him as I stand up.

As I ask my questions, from the corner of my eyes, I see Trust stands up from her sitting position and sends out a dark black ball, a shadow ball, to the left side and I saw her shadow ball made contact with a bright orange flame, a flamethrower attack, and the contacr creates a loud explosion sound.

BAM

UFSA heard the explosion,"Cesca we have to go, return Trust at once" he said

"what's going on?" I ask

"No time to explain. Just come with me!"he shouted at me, I stare at him suspiciously

"Hurry up and do it,trust me!" he shouted at me again

"fine, fine" I obey him and return Trust,it's not like I trust UFSA or anything but he does sounds like he's worried.

As soon as I return Trust to her pokeball UFSA picks me up and carried me bridal style which makes me blushed a bit at what he's doing then he runs away from the attacker that keeps sending out flamethrower after flamethrower.

"Let me go you ugly space alien, let me go!" I shout

"No!" he shouted back at me

"I can run you know" I said

"Nah, I prefer to carry you like this" he said with a smirk

"Let me down!" I whined

My eyes widened as I suddenly sensed whatever it is, charging quite a large amount of it and from it's direction, it's heading straight towards us. Wait I sensed it? How the hell did I sensed it- now it's not the time for thinking if we get hit by that charged attack, we're going to die and I don't want to die yet, I haven't watch Shadowhunters season 2 yet and I haven't seen CalRicka happened yet.

"Go right! Go right!" I shouted at him, not wanting the attack to hit us, I mean I still have a lot of things I want to do.

"What?" he asked

Damn it, he can't hear me over the noises that's happening around us.What should I do? I still want to live and watch more Malec moments.

UFSA suddenly loses his grip on me and almost dropped me but then he catches me but because he catches me, he loses his footing and we fall and tumbled into a house. I'm glad we fell because the charged up attack was sent to the place where we were before if that have hit us, we would have died.

I know I'm glad that I'm alive and all but because of the fall, UFSA and I ended up in an uncomfortable position on the floor with him above me, our faces only how many centimetres apart, I blushed a bit but I forced it to be gone. "Get off me!" I said well it's more of a command.

"Shush it's still there" he said silencing me with his finger on my lips we wait for a long time and when it's over, he removed his finger from my lip.

"Now get off me!" I shout after waiting for a whole 10 minutes.

"No by the way, were you blushing earlier?" he teases me with that playful grin of his and just like that, he gets a hard punch to his face. "Fine, I'll move but why do you have to punch me that hard, it hurts and why does it have to be to my handsome face at that?" he asked

"Handsome face? Pfft" I laugh, "Beside you almost dropped me so-" I said with my arms crossed but is cut by UFSA, "almost" he pointed out which make me glare at him

"And you made us fall into this house" I continued

"But if we didn't fall, we would have died that means you owe me so instead of a punch, can I get a kiss instead?" asked UFSA after moving away from me.

I don't know if he's serious or not since I can't exactly see his face because there's little light here but I can totally feel him smirking at me right now from a distance.

"Are you an idiot? Do you want another punch to your face?" I asked

"Well I'm your idiot" he said approaching me. Now, I can see his face even in this darkness since he's moving closer to me.

"What, no! Stay away from me." I said pushing him away from getting any closer

"But I guess I do owe you" I said in a small voice, hoping UFSA didn't hear but he did.

"I know right! Maybe you should stop calling me UFSA and from now on call me 'Amazing one' " UFSA said being delusional since there's no way I'm calling him that.

"In your dreams" I said

UFSA was going to say something else but I changed the subject "who or what was it?" I ask

"What do you mean?" he asks

"Those thing, that were firing attack at us!" I shouted

"Oh those thing, they are called phantoms, they can release pokemon attacks and some of them can even imitate dead people, they are usually in deserted places but they could be everywhere but only some pokemon and humans can see it." he explained

"they? You mean there are more of it? What do you mean by 'some of them can even imitate dead people' ?" I ask

UFSA tensed up and look down, his hair covering his face, his hands clenched in a tight fist "they can completely and perfectly imitate dead people their voice, height, face, everything would be alike so alike that you think they're alive and standing right in front of you then they will devour your soul for food"

"W--what?" I stuttered a bit which makes UFSA smile a comforting smile at me. "Don't worry my princess, I will protect you" he said

Then it started to rain badly, there is the sound of booming thunder and white flashes in the dark, gloomy sky

"I guess we have to stay here for a while" said UFSA who looked around then sit down on the floor I reluctantly walk towards him and sit down next to him.

Kyle,Ericka and the others

Third Person P.O.V (small time skip)

Unlike where Cesca and Hikage are, it wasn't raining for them even if they are only somewhere outside of the creepy and mysterious village but you can see signs of it going to rain soon from the obvious sky that have a lot of gray clouds decorating it, making the world feel less lively without the usual light blue sky that usually have some random shaped clouds decorating the sky

Luckily they weren't separated and Shine found Eve with ease and unlike Cesca and Hikage they weren't attacked by any phantoms or other dangers. Now they're waiting for Cesca and Hikage to return at an abandoned house Michael found.

"I can't contact neither Hikage nor Cesca" Ericka said as she press the end call button on her phone screen.

"I'm sorry it's my fault for not keeping an eye on Eve" Shine said with a frown on her face Eve, the said pokemon shouts at her but Shine can't understand what Eve is trying to say.

"I don't really get what Eve's saying but I think she's saying that it's her fault for being distracted and not yours, Shine" said Fayleen, one of her powers being activated and like what happened before, she can understand what pokemon and animals are saying but for now she can only understand a portion of what they're saying.

"No matter what you say, it's my fault" Shine said

Gray flicks her forehead. "ouch" the blonde said

"Stop blaming yourself over it and not that I'm saying it's not your fault for not keeping an eye on Eve but if your did something wrong then fix it and bring Cesca and UFSA back, idiot" said Gray

"You're right" Shine perks up "I'm going in again" she said with a determined face

"I'm going with Shine" Gray stated

"I don't trust her with you" Kyle said to Gray. Kyle, he have been more protective than ever towards Shine ever since the kidnapping incident.

Those words must have hurt Gray's feeling because he have an insulted look on his face. Usually, he would argue about it and he really does wants to argue about it to Kyle about what happened is not his fault and that the situation before wouldn't have change even if he had done something but there are times he thought about it, he thought he might have been able to save Shine if he had done something but then he realizes that nothing he could have done would make anything change.

"Me,Kusa, Yokina and Luke are going" Kyle said "you guys have no problem with that right?" he faced the mention people and which they nod as an answer which makes Kyle smile while Gray is leaning on a tree with a frustrated look on his face.

"If Luke's going then I'm going too" Calum said

"Okay then me, Kusa, Yokina, Calum and Luke then?" Kyle ask for confirmation.

"Be careful" Ashton and Mike said

"Come back safely" Ericka and Ace added

"And bring Cesca and Hikage back with you" Fay said with one of her rare smiles on her face.

"We will" Kusa,Shine, Kyle, Yokina, Luke and Calum said in a chorus and they set off to find Hikage and Cesca.

With Hikage and Cesca

"What was that?" Cesca asked as she heard a barely audible cry from where she is sitting.

"What was what?" Hikage asked

"A cry, a pokemon's cry to be exact. How could you not hear it?" Cesca said

"And here I thought I was the one who's partially deaf" she commented.

"I hear nothing. You must be hearing things" Hikage said

Cesca stands up and sends Hikage a glare and she walk into the deeper part of the house. Hikage looked at Cesca from afar, wondering what's going on especially when she suddenly stop walking and stare intensely at the floor below her.

Hikage stood up and walk towards Cesca. "Why are you staring intensely at the floor?"

But instead of answering Hikage, she sends out her houndour. "Fang, flamethrower please" she gently orders houndour to fire a flamethrower at the spot on the floor she pointed at.

Fang nods and shoot out intense flame from his mouth and at his target and as the flame hits the floor, it started to melt.

"What are you doing?" Hikage asked curious.

"Look" Cesca pointed at where Fang sent his attacks to.

Hikage look at where she pointed it at and have a surprised look on his face. "Why is there-?"

"A metal door? I'm surprise the door hasn't melt even a tiny bit from the flame Fang let out" she continued for him

"Did you know there is a door there this whole time?" Hikage asked

"No, I didn't" Cesca said with a shrug

"Then how did you know?" Hikage question and is replied by another shrug from the black haired girl

"If you don't know then how? Have you been here before? Wait-are you lying about not knowing about this door?" Hikage ask

"What?" Cesca have a hurt look on her face, "I'm not lying, I never lie" Cesca said, clearly offended by the question ask by Hikage.

"I heard a cry okay? It came from below us and I just know about this door" Cesca explain

"What? Do you mean the cry that only you hear" Hikage sarcastically said

"**ck you" Cesca growls

Fang nudge Cesca's leg and Cesca diverted her attention from Hikage and to Fang she kneels down and scratch Fang at his favorite spot. "Hey Fang, what's up boy?"

Fang uses his paw and uses it to point at the door Cesca blink once then twice and she realize what Fang is trying to say.

"Do you want me to open the door?" Cesca asks, Fang nods up and down as a yes to her question.

Cesca pulls on the metalic handle of the door and found a staircase that leads downwards and Fang uses his paw to point at the staircase which gives a clue to Cesca as to what he wants.

"Do you want me to go down?" Cesca ask to which Fang nods and jump on the first platform of the staircase

"Okay then" Cesca said and step on the platform and then step down on another one

"What? Are you sure Cesca about going down there? It might be dangerous" he said with a serious face

"I trust Fang, I know he won't lead me to someplace dangerous. If you don't want to come then don't, I'm not going to force you into coming with me" Cesca said and head downwards, following Fang's lead

Hikage look backwards and then at the staircase, unsure what to do but he decided to follow Cesca. "Wait! I'm coming with you" Hikage shouted

"Why did you change your mind?" Cesca asked with the raise of her eyebrow

"I'm coming with you. I will protect you" Hikage said

"I can protect myself you know. I know kickboxing" Cesca said

"Yeah just let me do it, okay?" Hikage said

"Do whatever you want" Cesca said and for the rest of the way downwards, they didn't speak to each other.

Kyle's group

Third person's POV

The moment they enter the enterance, the thick fog rolled in but the fog seemed thinner than the first time they enter the village.

"Shine, Yokina, Kusa, Calum, Luke?" called Kyle

Various responses came out from the called person that signals that they're present but Kyle realise that Yokina didn't response when her name was called so he call her name once again. "Yokina! Are you there? Please respond so we know where you are"

"Yokina isn't here?" asked Shine

"Yokina, anata no doko da yo? Onegai kotaemasu! (Yokina, where are you? Please answer!) " Shine called out

The others also help, they call her name but still, there is no response from the blonde girl.

"No answer" said Kyle

"Where could she be?" asked Calum

A high pitched, frieghtened scream brought their attention and those who knows who it belongs to, starts to feel anxious and worried about the one who was screaming. "Yokina!" shouted both Kyle and Shine at the same time and they ran towards the source with the others running behind them.

I actually finish the chapter on Christmas but forgot to publish it.
Oh yeah I might unpublish this book soon.
