Previously on, Pinkie Pie gets recruited into a special ops army group called the Guardians of Harmony. But what exactly does this entail?

I frown slightly. A team? I wasn't sure I wanted to make friends who may just end up dying.I hardly wanted to be part of the army. This whole thing was a mistake. I had nothing to make me particularly qualified. I was hardly able to cast a spell, I wasn't a therianthrope, a fey, a dragon, or even an Ecto Touched, my fighting skills were crap, and I wasn't good at military tactics. I was just a Minling.

Queen Luna stays behind, yawning and closing her eyes. Probably resting until she had to protect the night, and make decisions. Queen Celestia leads me away to my new team. The Guardians of Harmony. Harmony. I'd have to look that word up.

The Queen opens a pair of elaborate doors. Inside there are seven girls. Three looks unfriendly. One of them, a girl with blonde and crimson hair, golden tanned skin, and aqua blue eyes, stares mistrustfully from a corner. The other, a lilac skinned, light blue-eyed girl with violet-and-sky-blue hair, looks at me haughtily, with her chin raised. Lastly was an indigo-violet-and-pink-haired girl with pale purple skin and deep purple eyes. She mostly read a book and ignored us.I frown a little. I was going to have to work extra hard to make those guys smile. The other four girls looked a lot nicer. A cocky looking rainbow-haired girl with violent violet eyes. A blonde cowgirl with honey tanned skin, earnest green eyes and a smirk that spelled trouble. A shy pale pink-haired girl with buttercup skin and bright blue eyes. A fancy-looking young lady with beautiful white skin, purple hair, and light blue eyes. Her clothes looked very expensive.Putting the girls aside, the room was very exquisite. Four doors on each side of the common room, decorated to the owner's taste. My door was obviously the bright pink one with confetti and sparkles. The inside of the common room was more function. There was a fireplace, a holographic screen, a whiteboard, and, most importantly, a video game center at the far end. The walls were lined with bookshelves, and cork boards. A small cylinder was in the center of the room. It was see-through and had weapons inside. A lasso, a sword, a crossbow, a whip, a staff, a mace, a double-bladed-and-chained Kama, and an ax. At the very end of the room was a door possibly leading to a kitchen or bathroom.

I smile and challenge everyone to a video game match. There are eight controllers. The queens have thought of everything.

The rainbow-haired girl picks up the challenge immediately. She introduces herself as Rainbow Dash. Who would've guessed? The cowgirl introduces herself as Applejack and quickly joins in. Fancy Schmancy calls herself Rarity and hangs back a bit, but quickly thaws and joins in. The shy girl, Fluttershy, sort of melts into a puddle, but plays when I hand her a remote. The other three don't join in at first, but Starlight Glimmer (The one who had lilac skin, purple and blue hair, as well as light blue eyes) can't keep away from the fun. She grabs a remote and joins in. The other two, who Starlight calls Twilight and Sunset, retreat to their rooms with books. The blonde and crimson-haired one glaring like a dragon guarding its hoard. I sigh but smile when I hear the other five laugh over the game.
