As the fight takes place on Aiko's side, the bear-like teen was facing the black haired teen as his strength will come head to head on Dabi's fire manipulation quirk.

Kenji's POV:

As I stood there across from the other teen, I could feel the tension rising and what is at stake behind these walls, I may not much of a fighter, but I will give everything I can to defend the people I care about and the people that is in trouble.

I look at him still as not a moment too soon, the black haired teen lets out a surge of flames towards my direction as I dodge it, not letting it touch or make any contact with me. "Guess it's a fist vs flames kind of thing." I said as I started to charge towards him with an incredible speed, dodging his attacks as I was close enough to throw a punch at his stomach, but only to be caught up with his hands and kneed me in my gut.

I felt a sharp blow on my stomach as I cough out some air as I twist his arm and kicks him a few meters away from him. I have to say, this guy packs quite a punch, as if it reminds me of how I was introduced back in the sanctuary.

~Flashback~

I was sitting down on a chair as my parents was sitting beside me talking to a guy in his mid-30s as I look at them. 'I'm soooo bored...' I mentally groaned as they pretty much talk about some adult stuff. "Looks like your son is a little drained, why don't you let him explore for a bit." the man said as my parents chuckled a little bit and looked at me. "Guess so, plus, this is a perfect time to introduce him to the other kids." my father said as my mom nodded in agreement.

I was confuse at this point as I sat up properly and looked at the both of them. "Sweetie, why don't you go and explore a little bit, you might make some friends while you're at it." mom said as I nodded and went outside the room. 'Hey, at least I can't be bored by now.' I thought as I started to explore the huge hallways of the place.

As I walk around the hallways, I saw different rooms filled with different things like a room filled with magic stuff, a library, heck I even saw a garden inside the place.

~Flashback Paused~

I groaned as I quickly retaliated back with a punch, making a successful hit as the teen backed away, giving me some space as he glared at me. "That's one heck of a punch you got there." I said as he didn't say anything as his hands flared up with a blue flame as he started to blast it towards my direction.

"Hothead are we? Well, how about some knuckle sandwich!" I said as I charge towards him, slowly turning into a bear that resembles like the one I transform during the license exam.

I raised my sharp claw and slashes the teen down as he narrowly dodge my claws, leaving a slightly torn up shirt. 'I need to finish this quickly!' I thought as I remember my limit.

~Flashback Continues~

I was walking around the hallways, still being amazed at how big and cool the Sanctuary is, that is, until I bumped into someone, knocking him down. "What the hell! Watch were you're going!" the figure said as I stood up, dusting myself off. "Sorry, I didn't mean it." I said as the group of three boys looked at me.

"Sorry isn't gonna cut it." one of the boys said as they walk towards me as I walked backwards. "Didn't you know? We three are the strongest upcoming guardians here in the Sanctuary." another boy said as the last boy looked at me. "So, I advise that you apologize properly while you're praising us." he said as I cringed a little bit. "Sorry, but I don't acknowledge your so called strength, probably ask that to someone who is really desperate enough to do it." I said as this just got them angered.

"The nerve of this guy, lets show him how we deal with the guys like him." the boy said as the three of them activated their quirks, one with a hardening quirk that turns his body into a solid rock with small fire etched in them, the other boy has four arms seeing that he has a super strength type of quirk, and the last one was giving off a smirk, looking at him as he started to screech resembling into a banshee.

~Flashback Paused~

I broke away as I pant a little bit, feeling the frustration and anger building up within me as I pant a little bit. "I NEED MORE POWER!" I yelled as I charge at him again only to be met with another fire heading in my way. I made full contact with it as I growled in pain, making my anger even more build up as I feel my feral side taking over as my anger sits in.

"I need to show them...that I am strong enough to take you down!" I yelled as I charged again, jumping up as my claws swiped down, slashing it down on the teen, growling as I try to pierce it on his body.

~Flashback Continues~

"Learn your place!" one of the boy said as I lie down on the floor, battered and bruised at the assault that the three kids did, I saw my vision slowly slip up as a figure appeared in front of me. "Well, if it isn't the "Prodigy" so, what do we owe you the pleasure your highness?" the boy said as I felt that someone was picking me up.

"Are you alright?" he asked as I managed to let out a simple "Yeah." as I try to look at the figure, seemingly disregarding what the other boy had said. "Tch, typical Y/N always helping the ones in need, why don't you side with the top dogs like us?" he suggested as the figure glare at him coldly. "And end up with that attitude, no thank you." he said as he started to drag me somewhere only to be stopped by the same kid.

"What did you say?" he said as he lets me down and grabbed his wrist as he twist it hard and slowly putting him down to his knees. "I said, back off and don't ever hurt this kid ever again. Got that. Punk."he said as he picked me up again and went away from the trouble passing out in the process.

I slowly wake up and saw myself back from the same place as my parents were earlier, I sat up and looked around, seeing a girl looking at me as I got startled a little bit. "Thank goodness you're awake!" she said as I look at her, seeing my body in bandages as I saw another figure walking towards us. "Ah, how are you feeling?" the figure asked as I saw it was a boy.

I stood up and quickly bowed at him, noticing that he was the same boy that saved me from earlier. "Thank you very much, is there anything that I can do to repay you?"I said as I look at him. "No need to do that."he said as I look at him still. "Instead, why don't you introduce yourself, I didn't catch your name after all."he said as I let out a nod.

"I'm Kenji Nakamaura, nice to meet you." I said as he nodded introducing himself and the girl that is with him. I smiled as I made some couple of friends, since then it was me, Aiko, and Y/N, three friends training to be the greatest guardians, or so we thought. I was in our quarters, reading some books as a letter made its way under our doorstep, I noticed this and quickly takes it and read it.

Kenji,

Please, stay away from me from now on, I won't be a full-pledge guardian when you're with me. As far as possible, get out of here and start a new. May our paths cross again if that ever happens.

Y/N

I felt my heart clenched as I read it, he isn't serious right? But, as I read the letter again and again it is hard to believe that he would write something like this. I let out a frustrated sigh as I went over to my parents in the kitchen. "Hey Kenji, you look down." mom said as dad noticed this. "Do you wanna talk about it?" dad said as I tell them about the letter.

"Are you sure that you won't change your mind about it?" the man said as dad shook his head. "I guess so, I don't want Kenji be a burden to him." he said as the man nodded and sighed. "Again, I don't know what came over that boy and he would write such a thing. The three of them are very close nonetheless." he said as they nodded. We both said our goodbyes and went over to the portal that dad created, going inside as a moment later we were in Musutafu in Japan.

"Well, it ain't much but at least there is a roof under our heads." dad said as we were now inside of an apartment building, good enough for the three of us to live. "It's find dad, I just hope that Y/N is happy about his decision." I said as the three of us hugged together. "Don't worry, I'm sure he didn't mean it." mom said as I let out a sigh, starting over again.

~Flashback End~

I pant as I lie down on the ground, my body was covered with ashes and slight burn marks, slowly getting up as I look at the teen in front of me. "I thought you would give a nice fight, but I guess this is the end." he said as he lit his hands on fire again, looking straight at him. "For the glory of Lord Ogma." he said as he was about to throw the fire at me.

I was ready to give up, until the ground started trembling or better yet, a tremor was starting to build up as the ground breaks and I stumble back. "Come on Kenji!" I heard the oh so familiar voice of my classmate, who is none other than Shindo.

"That's not the Kenji I know from our school!" I look at him as I felt a slap on my back, making me float at the process. "If you're wondering why I brought a student from Yuuei, she just came along to help me." he said as I saw a brunette that Y/N was talking during the exams.

"I'm here to help you in any way I can!" she said as I smiled and looked straight at the teen. "Then lets finish this!" I said as they yelled back. "Alright!" they said as we get into position.

(Background Music Starts)

Shindo started to make some tremors again as the girl know as Uraraka found a safe distance away from the tremors as I started to float up, heading over to the teen. He tried to kept his balance as Shindo kept going at it.

"No matter what they say about my quirk, whether I'm strong or not, there is only one person that kept me going." I said as my anger started to go off as Shindo looked at Uraraka. "Now!" he yelled as Uraraka nodded. "Release!" she said as I was falling towards the teen as he tried to throw some fire towards my direction while under the effects of Shindo's quirk.

"And I won't let him down!" I yelled as my claws started to burn as I dodge the flames mid-air, landing in front of him as I use my claw to slash him down, but managed to dodge it, I kept coming at him as I slam my claws on the ground. "Earthshock!" I yelled as the ground cracks, making the teen stayed in place as Shindo stopped and Uraraka touched the debris on the ground making them float.

I slammed my claws one more time as a small hole started to pop out and the teen tried to dodged but tripped over making him fall down. "Release!" I heard Uraraka yelled as the debris that was floating earlier came crushing down towards the teen as I move away.

The falling debris made full contact with the teen as I look at the rubble, burning it all away as I charge ahead. 'Aiko, Y/N, thank you.' I thought as I swipe my claws down towards the teen, leaving a huge gash on his chest and swatting him away hard as he flew a good meter away.

(Background Music Ends)

I panted a little bit as I saw a somewhat violet portal as the teen was slowly dragging away, enough to close the portal completely as I didn't give any chase. I went back to my old self as I fall down on the ground, seeing two figure came rushing towards me as I slowly lose consciousness.

"It's all up to you now, Y/N."
