Todoroki's POV:

"I'm leaving." as soon as I heard those words out of his mouth, I couldn't believe it, I want to think that it was just a joke but his tone and look is straight up serious. "B-But, why?" I asked as he lets out a sigh. "All of you are not safe when I'm around, and what's more when the demon is still out there resting and waiting for his next attack." he said as I refuse to believe that he is leaving us for our safety.

"I don't want all of you to be put in danger because of me." he said as he turned around getting ready to leave. "Wait!" I yelled as I hold his wrist not letting him go away. "You'll be safer here with us. Please, don't go!" I pleaded as I realized that this is the first time I said that to someone let alone dearly close to my heart.

He didn't say anything for a moment as I looked at him, moments later he let out a sigh and turned around to face me, only meeting with a flick on my forehead. "Ow! What was that for!" I yelled as he chuckled a little bit.

"Look Todoroki, once this problem is over, I'll promise to comeback here safe and sound." he said as I shake my head. "No, I won't let you." I said still looking at him, he sighed and turned around and started to walk away until I made a wall to block the way.

He looked at me as I look down on the floor. "(Y/N), I refuse to let you go." I said simply as he walk up to me. "Tell me this Todoroki, why?" he said as I stiffen up at the question. "Why won't you let me go?" he asked again as I stood there quietly not saying a word. "Its because..." I started. "Because of what?" he said as I sigh a little bit. "Its because... of what will happen if you're gone." I said as tears threaten to fall from my eyes but I keep it together.

"What will happen if you leave? What will happen if something bad will happen to you? To us? And what will happen if one day you will be gone?" these were the things I said to the (H/C) as a small tear escaped from my eyes. "Todoroki..." he said as I felt his arms around me.

"That won't happen Todoroki, I promise to come back safely and free of harm, once this problem is taken care of I'll be back here before you know it." he said as he lets go of me and I sighed in defeat. "Alright, just promise me to stay safe and free from any harm." I said as he nodded and smiled.

I reached something out from my pocket, holding his hand in mine. "Take this, just to remember me by." I said as I break my hand away from his and turned around, going back to class.

(Y/N)'s POV:

I look at him and I look down on my hand, opening it to see a necklace with an icicle shape on it. I took a deep sigh and looked at the ice wall in front of me, seeing it all melted, I decided to head out of the school to avoid more dramatic instances.

I put the necklace in my pocket and looked up, remembering the days that I stayed and studied in this school, some of them were bad but others are a good memory about the class.

It was a tough decision for me to make but I need this to carry out my duty as a guardian and to protect them from any harm. I reached the gates of the academy and looked at it one last time. "Farewell everyone, until we meet again." I said to no one in particular as I head home to get ready for my journey back to the Sanctuary.

As I walk around the city I noticed that my phone was vibrating on my pocket, I took it out and pressed the power button to see that the greenette teen was calling to me, I turned it off and tossed the phone away to the road, seeing it get crushed by the moving car was an ugly sight.

I walked a little more and finally reached my apartment and went straight to my room. Opening the door I went inside and locked it instantly, grabbing a bag I packed my things.

Looking around the room reminds me the first night I stayed here, there are some garbage lying around the room, the neighbors on my right were a little rough and loud in the middle of the night, and some rock and roll music playing full blast by my neighbor on my left. To be honest I'm really glad that I'm going back to my home even though I may be leaving the ones I protect here, but I will not rest until my job is done.

I finished packing my things and took one more look at the room, remembering that there was one more thing that I need to do. I went to the drawers and grabbed a letter with a (F/C) envelope on it, setting it on the dinner table and adding a little weight on it so it doesn't get blown away by the air. I took a deep breath and grabbed my bag leaving my apartment room and on to my journey.

Midoriya's POV:

I was on my way to (Y/N)'s apartment to check if he was there since he wasn't in class and he isn't answering his phone earlier. I reached his apartment and knocked on the door but there was no answer, I knocked again but still there wasn't any answer. I turned the doorknob and surprisingly it was open.

"(Y/N)?" I said but there was no answer, I look around the place and there was a (F/C) envelope on top the table, I quickly grabbed it and looks at the envelope seeing my name on it and opened it quickly reading the letter.

       If you're reading this, that means I left Musutafu and by now travelling back to my home. I'm sorry if I didn't tell you this, but I did this to protect all of you from the demon. Don't worry, as soon as I'm finished with this, I'll be back for you guys. I promise.

I was surprised and shocked at the same time, why? Why didn't tell me that he was leaving? Why didn't he said goodbye? Tears were starting to fall from my eyes as I fell to my knees and cried.
