Aiko's POV:

As I stood up across from a girl, seemingly her eyes was pale and lifeless due to the effects of Ogma's mind-control spell in effect.

"You will be a great sacrifice to Lord Ogma's aid." the girl with blond hair which two small buns said as she took hold of her weapon. "I will bring peace no matter what!" I said as I hold my scythe tight and the two of us charge at each other, our weapons clashing as I look at her. I remember the times when I always train hard, harder than anyone else, wanting to surpass my father, especially Y/N. I couldn't even forget the day that the two of us will become close together.

~Flashback~

I was with my dad in his room, reading some of the histories of how the Sanctuary came together, about how the guardians are tasked to protect the world, and how mom and dad met. I always ask dad a hundred times about mom and he just smiled at me and pats my head.

"You know Aiko, your mother was a very kind woman that I've met in my life." he said as I smiled at him. "Can you tell me the story of how you two met?" I said with sweetness in my voice as he just smiled and told the whole story.

~Flashback Paused~

I pushed her away with my scythe as I gain some distance from her, spinning my scythe as flower petals was swirling around with the wind that my scythe is producing as the girl charged at me again.

Once the wind made contact, she was slightly getting pushed away but tried to keep going as I lowered my scythe, swinging it down on the ground as roots started to grow underneath and made its way towards her, coiling around her body.

~Flashback Continues~

"Aiko come in here quick!" dad said as I placed down the book that I was reading and made my way towards to dad. Upon entering the room, I saw 3 people sitting on the chairs with dad being one of them. I walk towards the chairs and decides to sit down beside dad. "Oh my gosh! Is that Aiko now?" I heard a woman across us said as dad nodded.

"Yes she is." he said as I heard a small chuckle coming out from a man that was sitting beside the woman. "My, time sure does fly huh." he said as the woman smacks him on the shoulder. "Yes it does, by the way, where's the little troublemaker?" dad said as I heard the woman yelled and a young boy was seen walking inside the room.

The boy had a pair of (E/C) eyes which resembles like what I presume his mother's eyes, and a messy (H/C) hair which resembles his dad's hair. "What is it mom?" he said as he looked across from us, taking a bow and introduced himself. "Hello, I'm (Y/N) (L/N)! It's nice to meet you!" he said happily as he flashed a smile on his face.

~Flashback Paused~

The girl started to struggle as I pant a little bit, feeling tired after the attacks that I dished out, after a moment later, the girl broke free as she charges at me, trying to stab me with the knife. I tried to move away from her line of sight but I barely dodged her as she manage to slash the knife on my body.

Pain was all I can described as I felt it sharp as she made contact on my side. Touching the side of my body where I felt blood touched my hand. I tried to stood up properly but I stumble a little bit, dropping my weapon on the ground with the tip piercing on the ground as the girl walks towards me. 'What would Y/N do...' I thought.

~Flashback Continues~

I was in the garden training my quirk to grow some flowers, then as time pass by, I can maybe grow something larger than a flower. I wasn't aware that some kids went inside the garden. "Hey plant girl!" one of the kids said as I look away from the plants that I was growing.

"Can you grow something else? Or is that what daddy wants you to grow?" the kid said as the kids laughed a bit while I look at them, while half of the kids laugh, the other half was terrorizing the plants inside the garden, pulling them out or stomping them for their enjoyment. "Stop you're hurting them!" I yelled as they look at me, tears threatening to fall from my face.

"Aw, looks like daddy's girl is going to cry. So what if we are hurting them? They don't feel anything!" the kid said as they kept destroying the garden. "I would stop if I were you guys." a new voice entered the room as I look for the source.

I saw Y/N standing across them. "So what? You should mind your own business." he said as he stopped stomping and walked over to him. "Unless you want to know your place." he said as he bumps his fist against the other one as Y/N looked at them, not even moving.

~Flashback Paused~

I couldn't move my body, I think her knife had something infused into it as to why I can't move. "For honor and for Lord Ogma's triumph!" she said as I closed my eyes and waited for it to end, but it didn't came. I opened my eyes and I was moving, I looked up and saw Iida carrying me.

"Iida! What are you doing here!" I said as I was surprised by this as he puts me down on the ground. "I cannot stand watching my classmates risk their lives like this! And as a hero, I must help others that who are in need!" he said as he takes off again, seeing him heading towards the girl as I sat on the ground.

~Flashback Continues~

"So? I can't just sit back down and do nothing about it, while you rowdy bunch terrorize this beautiful garden." Y/N said as a kid chimed in. "You better watch that mouth of yours kid, or you'll get what you deserve." the kid said as the other kids snickered. "So, I suggest you should run along now." he said as I saw Y/N snickered. "Guess you're all talk, must be your ego is bigger than your actual head of yours." he said as gasps was heard.

"What did you say kid!" he said as Y/N shrugged his arms. "I mean, if you have a functioning brain for once, you will know what I mean. But, in this case, I guess your ego is all visible than your brain." Y/N said as the kid couldn't handle the insult anymore as he charged at Y/N to throw him a punch but Y/N ducked out.

He swings his right leg towards the kid and rotates a little bit as he rotates his leg back, hitting him again on the head and dragged it down on the ground, placing his foot on his head, while the other kids was shocked at what happened. "If I catch you ruining this part of the place, I will personally deal with you. Got that?" he said as the other kid nodded and hurriedly ran out of the room while the others follow.

"Hey, you alright?" Y/N asked as he looks at me with worried eyes. "Y-Yeah...I'm fine." I said as I wipe my face a little bit. "But, why did you helped me?" I asked as he flashed a small smile on his face. "Well, I can't just idly standby while those guys bully you. Plus, my dad told me if that someone who is in trouble, you should always help them!" he said as he flashed a smile at me as I giggle. "Well, seeing that this place is a whole mess, let me help you up!" he said as he started to get to work as I did the same. "I'm Aiko." I said as he chuckled a bit. "I know silly, mom and dad was talking about you guys for a while before we got here." he said as I smile and went back to work. This was the first time someone stood up for me, and I hope that this will be a start of a new friendship.

~Flashback Ends~

"That's right..." I said as I stood up from the ground, holding the side of the wound as I start to heal it a little bit. "He promise me that he would be there to help me..." I said as I look at Iida fighting the girl as I looked at the wall as well. "I can't remember how many times he had managed to save me ever since when we were kids." I said as I grip my scythe tight. "And that's why..." I said as I took a deep breath and started to run back to the fight. "I want to repay everything that he has done for!" I said as determination was seen in my face.

Iida was already having a hard time keeping distance with the girl as he dodges her attacks. 'I gotta have to restrain her from attacking and finish it quickly.' I thought as I swing down my scythe and hits the ground, dragging my scythe towards me as a fissure was created.

"Iida over here!" I yelled as he looked over towards me, having no choice but to run towards me. 'I only have one chance and I better make it count.' I thought as the figure of Iida was almost to the fissure. "This is insane Aiko!" he said as I look at him. "Just trust me!" I yelled as he shakes his head and at full speed he jumped over the fissure, seeing that the girl did the same as I sighed. 'Here we go.' I thought I raised up my scythe and a storm of rose petals came surging upwards, trapping her into a sea of petals as Iida successfully crossed the gap.

The girl was on the ground, slowly standing up as I spin my scythe. 'Y/N, if it wasn't for you, I would still be the same shy and afraid Aiko up until now. But, thank you for being the best friend and breaking through my shell. Helping me get out of my comfort zone, without you, my life would be nothing.' I thought as I stopped spinning my scythe.

"Red Rose Calamity!" I yelled as I bring down my scythe and the storm of petals came down on her, making some cuts on her body as it left some nasty wounds on it. I panted a little bit as the storm was done, falling down on my knees as the girl was slowly being dragged into a portal.

"Aiko, are you alright?" Iida said as I look at him with a smile, eventually fainting due to the final attack that I did.

"I trust in you Y/N."
