When I enter the class I look around and see a few people talking to each other, most if them look like they are my age but I notice a few that look 15 or 16. Then I see the girl that sat next to me on the bus and I start getting the strange feeling again, "What is happening to me? Why do I feel all weird all of a sudden?" Then the bell rings and the teacher walks in and I walk over to the group of people and the teacher see's me "You must be Kai. Nice to meet you, my name is Mr. Peters and I'm your gym teacher" then everyone looks at me for a few seconds then they look away. But a kid my age walks over to me and he stands right by me, "My name is Eli and don't worry about gym most of the time we play games in here" he said putting out his hand expecting to get a handshake, I don't say anything and ignore his handshake. Then I look up and I see all the students look at me with curious looks, some of them muttered to some of their friends and looked away. Eli on the other hand stayed by my side and held out his hand again for another hand shake, I hesitated for a second then shook his hand, "Two minutes run around the court then grab a jump rope after I blow the whistle" the teacher said loudly to make sure he got my attention. We started running around the court then I noticed the girl that sat next to me on the bus started jogging with me around the court and I got the strange feeling again, Is this what love feels like? I started to ask myself. I ignore that feeling but suddenly I get a burst of momentum and started into a sprint and I started passing other students.

After the two minutes ended some of the students stare in awe for a few seconds and then walk up to me. "Dude you just passed some of the fastest students in our grade!" One said "How did you do it? Were you saving some of your energy just to do that?" Said another, "Guy's back off. He's new, give him some space" I look over some of the students shoulders and saw the girl I liked. "Name's Miranda, it's nice to meet you Kai" she said putting her hair into a pony tail, she looked so beautiful with her blue eyes, long brown hair that is now in a pony tail, her neon green shirt, and her green pants. "It's nice to meet you to Miranda" I said shyly, we both walk over to grab a jump rope.

-10 minutes later-

The bell rings and I try to hurry to get out of the class but I run into somebody we both fell on the floor. "Sorry I should have been paying attention" I said "It's okay I'm trying not to be late for the next class" he said, I pick up some of his books and hand them to him. "My name is Kole what's yours?" He asked, I hesitated for a minute then finally responded "It's Kai, I'm sorry for not paying attention. I just wanted to get out of class" he smiled and got up off his knees and brushed the dirt and dust off his legs and arms. "What class do you have next Kole?" He looks at his schedule and looks back at me "I have English, Mrs. Erickson" he said "Oh cool. I have Mrs. Erickson as well" I smile for a quick second and the bell rings, just then I remembered my mother's words before school started "No matter what happens don't let other kids know your secret. Stay secret, stay hidden, stay safe".

11:55 A.M. Lunch

"Hey Kai. Tomorrow I don't want you to wear your hat in my class. Understand?" Mr. Timm said before I got a chance to grab my backpack and trapper, I nod my head grab my stuff and walk out the door. Just then I get grabbed by the arm and get slammed into the lockers, and my hat falls off revealing my horns. Everyone in the hallway looks at me and start backing up slowly, "I knew you were hiding something new kid!" I try to get up to face him but he kicks my stomach and I fall on the floor again, "Hey! Ben!" Ben turns and faces a kid that looks like the same height of me. "Stay out of this Zach, this doesn't involve you" I slowly start to get up again, I reach for my hat that is near me. I put it on and my horns disappear again, I start running down the hall then I see the stairs and I quickly get to the bottom floor. "Avoid conflict, it will only make the situation worse" I thought, just then I felt nauseous, my legs felt weak, my vision started getting blurry, and I felt light headed. My legs start feeling numb, then I fell on my knees "Ah Kai I finally found you!
"Who are you? How do you know my name?" Just then my vision gets clearer, my legs didn't feel number and I didn't feel nauseous anymore, why? I try not to think about it but that voice I swear I heard it somewhere before. Who was it? "All of your answers will come in do time. Now I must ask Kai, how were your fourteen years without a real father?"
"Tell me who you are, please! I want to know who this is! And what do you mean without a real father?"
"Oh how could I forget to introduce myself. Hello Kai, I am your father. I know you may not remember me because I left when you were four months old"
