Well this is going to suck, I thought to myself as I look into my bathroom mirror, I sigh and put on my shirt then my wings disappear and I put on my hat and my horns disappear as well. First day of High School, where freshman and sophomores are going to judge me for what I look like, I walk out of my bathroom and my room then I head downstairs. Just then I see my step dad on the couch with my mom sitting next to him, she looks up and see's me about to walk out the door. "Kai, don't you want something to eat?" She asked "No thanks mom I'm not really that hungry" I replied and closed the door behind me and headed down the driveway. I pull out my phone from my jeans and look at the time, 7:20 AM it said, I hear a bus coming down the street and it stops in front of the driveway, "You're Kai right?" the bus driver asked, I nod my head and walk up the steps of the bus. "The high school students sit in the back" I don't say anything and head for the back of the bus, just then someone sticks their foot out in front of me and I trip and fall and my hat nearly comes off almost revealing my horns. "Looks like you need to watch where you step" said the person that tripped me, I don't say anything then I get up and head for a seat. What's with that kid anyway. He should watch what he does to me otherwise I'm going to hurt him really really badly, I thought. I look for my earbuds and I grab my phone from my pocket and set it down on the seat, just then we stop and I look out the window and saw other kids getting on the bus, I ignore them and dig through my backpack for my earbuds, just then I find them and some girl sits next to me. I look up at her and I felt a feeling that was rather strange, just then I find my ear buds and untangle them and plug them into my phone and get on Spotify to ignore this strange feeling.

-20 minutes later-

I continue to stare the window of the bus, then I see a building that says Mount Vernon High School on the front on the front then I grab my backpack and trapper, I wait for the bus to stop to get off. When the bus stopped I tried to get off as quickly as I could then I get tripped again but I quickly grab the top of the buses seats and stay there for a couple for seconds, I lift my feet of his foot and continue walking down the alley. I get off the bus and I head for the front doors, when I got inside I saw other kids in the cafeteria area talking to each other but I couldn't hear what they were saying, then I hear the announcements come on saying "Could Kai please come to the office please" I look over to my left and saw an office looking area and I walk over then I noticed the label saying Office. I head through the doorway and the person at the desk looked my way "You must be Kai, I got something for you" she hands me a sheet of paper that read Schedule  at the very top, "You'll need this for the rest of the year. If you need help getting to your classes their are teachers and classmates that could help" she said. I nod and walk off without saying a word, I look at the schedule and the first thing I have is Lifetime Fittness, Great I have gym first. This is just awesome, I thought sarcasticly and head off to gym class.
