Olivia's POV

"Is anyone sitting here?"

A guy's voice snapped me out of my daze. My head immediately whipped around to face him. I'd never seen him around here before.

"Oh – uh – no." I replied, slightly startled.

His books spilled onto his desk and he sat down with a sigh.

"So, what's your name?" He asked.

"Olivia. You're new right?"

"Yeah. My names Cameron. Nice to meet you." He smiled.

Time ticked away slowly during the lesson but finally the bell rung. Cameron had been asking me heaps of questions about the work. I stood up to gather my things when he tapped me on my shoulder.

"Uh, sorry. But I noticed you're quite good at maths." He said.

I felt myself blush.

"So I wondered – if you – Would you mind helping me work on my maths?"

"Yes! I mean, no. I wouldn't mind at all!" I grinned. I was surprised at the question but thought it was sweet for him to ask.

We quickly exchanged numbers. Cameron was genuinely really polite and I could see us becoming friends.
