Olivia's POV

I was sitting down in the library waiting for Cameron to arrive. I'd been tutoring him everyday for over a week now and he's actually getting better.

Two girls sat down on the table next to me and I recognised both of them instantly. It was Willow and Kaitlyn. Probably the two most popular girls in the school. Willow was friends with everyone, she had even talked to me a few times before. Kaitlyn wasn't the person who was friends with everyone, but the person who everyone wanted to be friends with and even all the guys wanted to get with her.

How does Willow do it?

When I say she's friends with everyone, I mean everyone. The only person she's not close with would have to be me. Or maybe Cameron.

"Sorry I'm late." Cameron said as he sat down briskly.

"Where were you?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Basketball tryouts." He replied.

Basketball? That's the sport all the popular guys played.

"Oh, did you get in?" I said, trying to sound as casual as possible. If he got in, he might become too popular and forget about me. I was ashamed to say it, but Cameron was one of the few people at this school that I could call a friend.

Cameron looked at me with a smirk and nodded. My heart sank but I was determined not to show my disappointment. I was about to congratulate him when someone abruptly sat down with us.

"Good job Cameron!" She said as she leaned her elbows on the table. It was no other than Willow who had joined us.

"I'm sorry, what's your name?" Cameron asked with a laugh.

"Hi, my name is Willow and I'm the best person you'll ever meet. Oh hi Olivia!"

I was surprised she even remembered me.

"Hello." I muttered shyly.

No doubt about it, Willow would now become friends with Cameron as well.
