Nick had asked me on a date a few days ago to my surprise, I knew he liked me but I didn't think he had the guts to make a move. Though I guess I was wrong, since he had asked me to go on a date with him to see a horror movie in theaters that he was excited about.

The streetlight turned red causing me to slow down my motorcycle and stopping the rest of the way with my foot on the ground, I adjusted my helmet on my head before popping open the clear visor and clicking up the actual visor behind it so I could see more clearly and get some fresh air.

I patted the gas tank of my bike while patiently waiting for the light to turn green until I saw a notification pop up on my phone, which was in a very sturdy and tight phone holder connected to my handle.

I tapped in my password and opened the message.

I laughed a little at the coincidental situation, he had no idea I was on my bike which only made this funnier, he'd never see it coming.

I got a little excited now to surprise him with this, it'd be fun to give him a little ride on this bad boy, he knew I had one but he'd never been on it in all the years I've known him since he would always say "those things are bound to crash"

Well now he has to ride with me.

I pulled up to his house, the loud purr coming out of my exhaust obviously startled him since I saw him rush out of the house as soon as I stopped the bike, and as soon as his eyes landed on me he stood there in shock.

I swung my leg up and over the bike as I got off, unbuckling my helmet and pulling it off as I walked over to him with a smile "ready for your ride?"

His eyes flicked from my bike down to me, his gaze softening a little as he seemed to gulp before speaking "you know I won't ride that thing y/n"

"Yeah- well I was already halfway on my way when you texted me so.. you don't have a choice, unless you cancel the date which basically is like you saying I should die-"

He cut me off grabbing my shoulders with a slightly nervous but firm gaze "I didn't say that ever and I am not canceling my date with you.. I'll just.. deal with it, plus it can't be that bad right?"

I gave him a warm smile before lifting my helmet, his arms fell from my shoulders as I pulled the helmet down over his head and began to buckle the small buckle below his chin to make it a tighter fit

He simply stared down at me with an admiration in his eyes.

"You look more badass in that than I do" I said with a smile causing him to smile too, though I couldn't quite see it I saw his eyes squint a little.

I then sat down on my bike and put on some sunglasses I had so that bugs wouldn't get in my eyes, I patted the spot behind me and he hesitated

He slowly lifted his leg over and sat behind me, I reached down and grabbed his left leg placing it where it goes and placed his other also where it goes "make sure you don't move that leg too far in or else my exhaust will probably melt your skin"

"What?- what the fuck- melt my skin?!" He exclaimed a little panicked

"Well yeah but, just don't move that foot"

He let out a sigh and seemed to be a little anxious, his fingers tapping on his thighs as he seemed to be thinking.

I sighed as well before starting up the bike and gently grabbed his hands placing them on either sides of my waist "it's gonna be fine nick, just hold on tight"

That grabbed his attention as he thought for a moment before his arms snaked fully around my waist, pretty much hugging me from behind as he nodded "don't gotta tell me twice"

I rolled my eyes at his flirty comment before revving the motorcycle and pulling off, feeling his grip on me get tighter as we rode.

We sat down in our theater seats beside each other, he set his popcorn in his lap and I set my drink in my drink holder as the dim room simply played previews. There wasn't many people here.

I turned to nick and started to giggle a bit causing his gaze to lock with mine and a small smile to break out onto his face "what?"

"You were so scared every time I went even a little fast" I giggled more trying to stifle my laughter

He scoffed "uh, okay well motorcycles are a little scary to me, because one crash and I could die"

My laughter died down into a warm smile as we stared at each other "do you really think I'd let us crash? I was being extra careful since I had you as a backpack"

His face flushed, I wasn't sure why but he glanced away as well before the movie began and he seemed to get excited when it did since he had suddenly a big smile on his face

"I'm so excited for this movie dude.. especially the fact that it's a date.. with you.." he whispered to me softly, his eyes flicking back to me as his gaze was gentle

I always loved how sweet nick was, he got nervous a lot since he wasn't really used to stuff like this but it was cute and the fact that he was so respectful made me want to just kiss him. (I'm sure y'all know this feeling)

I felt my face heat up at his comment before I gently slipped my hand into his, our fingers interlocking which caused his smile to grow only bigger as he lifted my hand and kissed the back of it before turning to the movie.

God the fat kiss I'm going to give him before I drop him off home tonight.
