Quinn's pov

I walked into the house and went straight to Colby's room. I took my heels and Colby came in. I shut and locked the door. I slipped my dress off leaving me in my under clothing. I studied the bruise that she left on my stomach. My jaw was puffy as well. Hand marks were still on my upper arms from where they grabbed me.

I slipped on a pair of spandex and climbed into Colby's bed. I hugged him tightly.

He ran his fingers through my hair as I lightly cried

"We're you being serious when you said you've never been to prom?"

"Yeah. I've never dated anyone before you and I didn't have any friends so I just stayed him,"

"Then we're going," he kissed my cheekbone

"No Colby,"

"Yes Colby,"

"I don't have anything to wear if we did."

"Then go get Devyn and Kat and go shopping right now,"

"Wait a minute... is Colby telling me to go shop instead of cuddle?!"

He laughed

"Yes," he pushed me up "go!"

"I'm leaving like this!" I gestured to my u underdressed outfit

I got up and went into his closet. I stood a hoodie and a pair of sweatpants.

I walked back and grabbed my phone

"You're in my clothes?"

"Yeah. I'm not changing!" I called walking out the door and shutting it behind me

I knocked on Sam's door

"Come in!" I head Katrina yell

I walked in

"Hey.. you want to help me shop for a dress?"

"Oh of course!" She screamed "what's the occasion?"

"Prom,"

"You're going with Colby?"

"No I'm going with the football player I kicked," I said sarcastically

She laughed

"Let's Get Devyn and go!" She said standing up

I was carrying the 15 dresses they had given me to the dressing room.

I tired on the first one. It was a medium red that had two thin straps on the shoulders. It had a slit that went up to about mid thigh. It was a v neck but no showage. It was pretty but it wasn't me.

I walked out.

"It's not me," I confessed

The pushed me back Into the dressing room for dress two.

Dress two was a blue mermaid dress with sequins along the bottom. It was grilled at the bottom as well.

I struggled to walk out

"Well?" Devyn asked

"I can't move,"

"Try On the next one!"

I went back in and tried on the next dress

Dress three was a chiffon dress with a low v cut. It was a brownish cream colour. Rhinestones were all along the top

I walked out and there jaws dropped.

"Oh girl," Kat said

"I feel to exposed

"That's okay," Devyn replied pushing me back in.

I slipped it off and tried on dress four.

Dress four was a simple pink long dress with wide sleeves.

"It's to plain," I said as I walked out

"Agreed," they said in sync

Dress five I guess.

One shoulder dark navy blue velvet dress. It was wonderful.

"It's to formal," I said

They both groaned.

I kept trying on dresses.

"This is the last dress we picked!" Devyn called as I zipped it up. A yellowish green dress with black flowers.

I stepped out

"I look like a couch pattern,"

"That was the last dress!" Kat exclaimed

"Well I picked up one dress during our five minute break," I confessed

Go put it on

I went back in as slipped it on. A grey high line halter dress. It was darker on the top portion and it was covered in rhinestones. The bottom part was filled with tool and it complemented my skin tone. A silver strap was around the part where the top and bottom met.

I stepped out and they looked up

"Oh. my. God." Devyn said in shock

"You look amazing!" Katrina said loudly

They came up and hugged me. I smiled and went back in. And took it off. We looked around for some shoes and I settled on some simple black shined heels. It only shows the top of my foot and it was toe-closed.

I payed for it and went back home with the girls. I opened the door and Colby was asleep. I took this Opportunity to god the bag in his closet on top of the shelf. I closed the door and climbed into bed next to him.

I nuzzled my head into his and I wrapped his arms around me. I then quickly fell asleep in his arms.
