A few days passed, and the air was cold, much to Amberblade's discomfort. Luckily, she and Ripjaw had a way to stay warm. Now that his heat cycle was over they had been focusing on finding Energon, "I'm gonna go look for some Energon," she said as she headed out.

"Do you want me to go with you?"

"No, I'll be good."

"Don't go too far, there's no telling if the Autobots are this far out. If you run into one, let me know," he told her as he hugged her.

"I will," Amberblade said as she hugged him back. Slowly letting go, Amberblade transformed and headed out to look for some Energon.

Razorclaw knelt down on the ground, examining it, he vented out a sigh when he couldn't find anything, "I guess Ripjaw's heat cycle is over. Which is good and bad," he muttered to himself as he headed deeper into the woods.

Amberblade was walking along when she suddenly heard some movement, she went to hide behind some bushes and waited for whatever it was to pass by.

Razorclaw stopped near where Amberblade was hiding, sniffing the air again he couldn't find any other scents. However, he was feeling cautious... and scared? He gently pushed the emotions that weren't his away. Amberblade jumped out and pounced on him. Falling to the ground with a thud he looked up at the femme, "I had a feeling you were out here somewhere," he spoke calmly.

"How?"

"I could just tell," he replied not wanting her to know his ability.

"Right," she said as she looked at him suspiciously.

"Could you get off me please?"

She growled as she got off him. He sat up slowly not wanting to make her feel threatened, "Thank you."

"What are you doing out here?"

"Figured it should be obvious, looking for you and Ripjaw."

"Why can't you bots leave us alone!?"

Razorclaw flinched at her yell, "I'm sorry but we can't let you two keep running around like this. What would you do if a human sees you?"

"We stay out of sight of humans."

"That's good. We thought a human would have spotted you by now."

"Well, they haven't."

Razorclaw fell silent for a moment, she was keeping her guard up which was to be expected. He would have done the same thing, "May I ask what you're doing out here by yourself?"

"I'm looking for Energon."

"There should be some Energon around here somewhere," he replied hoping that she would relax a little.

"So, you're not gonna try to take me in?"

"If I tried that we would have a very angry Dinobot on our tail. We have enough to worry about already."

"So, you're just gonna let me go?"

"For now." He sighed as he wondered if he should even say anything to the others, "How's Ripjaw?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"Just curious."

"He's doing just fine."

"You really care about him, don't you?"

"Yes."

Razorclaw stayed quiet for a moment trying to figure something out, a part of him wanted to help the two.

"If you're not gonna arrest me then please let me pass so I can get some Energon."

"My apologies," he replied softly as he got up off the ground and turned to head back home, "Good luck with your search."

Amberblade didn't say another word and just went on her way.

Soundwave, are you busy?

No. What's up?

I just saw Amberblade.

And? What happened?

Nothing, we just talked. She was looking for Energon, but Ripjaw wasn't with her.

Why would she go out alone?

I don't think she would go too far from wherever they're staying. I know we're supposed to take them in but a part of me wants to help them.

I understand.

Should I tell Bumblebee and the others?

It's your choice.

Razorclaw leaned against a tree, he was torn. She wanted to turn herself in before but Ripjaw stopped her. Neither one of them wants to be alone, if we put them in stasis pods they'll be apart for who knows how long.

But they'll be asleep so they won't know.

How would you feel if we were in stasis? He asked suddenly feeling sparkbroken. 

I would miss you as I was going into the pod but I wouldn't be able to feel anything while I was asleep.

I would miss you too, I would dream about you.

Same.

I'm going to try to help them. Getting to his feet he transformed and drove off to look for some Energon.

I'm proud of you, Razorclaw. We'll see how things go and if they do something then we'll arrest them.

Amberblade came back to the cave after searching for Energon with little luck. She managed to find a small amount but it wouldn't be enough for both of them, "I'm back!" She announced.

"Welcome back, I was about to go look for you," Ripjaw greeted.

"I was only able to get a little bit of Energon, not enough for both of us to have some," she said as she handed him the Energon.

Ripjaw smiled as he gently pushed the Energon back to her, "You take it."

"I'm not all that hungry so you take it."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

"I'll try to find us some more later," he told her as he took a sip.

"OK." Just then she grabbed at her chest and bent over in pain.

Ripjaw rushed to Amberblade's side, dropping the Energon, "Are you alright?" He asked with worry.

"I'll be fine. It's just a little pain I've been getting lately, it'll go away in a bit."

"Lately? How long? Why didn't you say anything?"

"Just the past couple of days. I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to worry over nothing. Honest, I'm fine," she said as she started to straighten up only to bend over in pain again, collapsing to the floor this time.

"Amberblade!" Ripjaw exclaimed as he caught her.

"It really hurts."

Ripjaw felt his spark racing from panic, closing his optics in frustration. What was he supposed to do? She cuddled against him as she held her chest, hoping that the pain would go away.

Razorclaw wasn't too far from them, he managed to find enough Energon for the two when he suddenly felt terrified. Placing the Energon on the ground he ran to where the emotion felt the strongest. He just hoped Ripjaw wouldn't be in a bad mood. He got to where the two were and saw Amberblade on the ground leaning against Ripjaw while she was holding her chest, "What happened?" He asked staying at a safe distance.

Ripjaw growled at him, "Don't come any closer, Autobot!" He said as he held Amberblade protectively.

"I'm not going to do anything, I only want to help," he spoke softly as he raised his servos, hoping he would believe him. Ripjaw just snarled at him. Razorclaw backed off a little not wanting to agitate the mech even more than what he already was, "I was bringing you some Energon," he blurted out.

"Don't want your Energon!"

"Actually, I could use some. Will help the pain go away," Amberblade spoke up.

Razorclaw glanced down at Amberblade, "I'll be right back," he told them as he transformed, driving as fast as he could to get the Energon. It didn't take long before he came back, transforming back to his bot form he placed the Energon at the entrance.

"Now leave!" Ripjaw snarled. Razorclaw slowly backed away heading back home. He hoped they would be okay.

Once he was gone, Ripjaw went to get the Energon cube for Amberblade. Taking the Energon she slowly drank it and the pain in her chest slowly started to leave. Ripjaw sat behind her to hold her up while she drank, "Feeling better?"

"A little. The pain is going away."

"Good, I'm glad. You scared the pit out of me."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's okay."

Amberblade fell silent as she continued to drink her Energon. Ripjaw just held her tightly, relieved that she was now doing better.

"Ratchet, can I talk to you for a minute?" Razorclaw asked once he got back.

"Sure, Razorclaw."

"What could cause chest pains?"

"Huh? Why do you want to know?"

"Just wondering."

"Well, mostly spark attacks, some sort of spark disease, for femmes the main thing would be being sparked."

"OK," he replied nervously as he backed out of Med Bay, "Thanks, Ratchet." Soundwave, I need to talk to you. He spoke in a panic.

About what?

I think Amberblade may be carrying.

Why do you think that?

I found some Energon for them and on my way, I felt something wrong. By the time I got there, Amberblade was holding her chest and Ripjaw was more protective of her than usual.

No doubt he was protective of her because she was vulnerable.

I know, I gave them the Energon but Ripjaw wanted me to leave. I didn't want to provoke him any further.

That was wise.

What should we do?

Not sure.

Amberblade had fallen into recharge shortly after finishing the Energon. The pain was fully gone now.

"Just sleep, I'll keep a watch out."

She snuggled closer to him seeking his warmth. He held her close and tight to keep her safe and warm. Letting out a sigh of comfort in her sleep a smile formed on her face. "I'm gonna take care of you, we'll get through this, whatever it is," Ripjaw said before looking at the cave entrance as the sun started to disappear. He hoped she wasn't in danger.
