Ripjaw groaned as he started to wake, his neck was throbbing from when Grimlock had bitten him. Amberblade was up already and had her armor back on, she came over with an Energon cube and handed it to him, "How are you feeling?" She asked him.

"My neck is killing me," he growled in pain. Taking the cube he took a few sips of it, "Was I out long?"

"For a bit over a day."

"Are you alright? They didn't hurt you did they?"

"Just a few scratches on my sides and back."

He gently nuzzled her side with his nose, purring lovingly.

"Ripjaw, I'm gonna turn myself in."

Ripjaw stopped and looked at her with wide optics, "What?"

"I don't want you to get hurt anymore, I'm a distraction because you're fighting to protect me and I don't want to see you get hurt anymore because of me, so I'm turning myself over to the Autobots."

"Amberblade, you are not a distraction," he told her as he placed his helm over her shoulder pulling her into a hug. "As long as you're safe that's all that matters to me. If you turn yourself in they'll put you in a stasis pod and we'll never be together. Please, don't do this," he begged as he closed his optics in fear of losing her.

"What else can we do? They won't stop hunting us. That's why I was thinking of turning myself in and letting them arrest me on the condition that they leave you alone and don't hurt you anymore."

"But how could I go on without you?" She wrapped her arms around him and held him tightly, "I know I'm being selfish but for the first time I have something I care about and you're being torn away from me."

"I'll stay and we'll figure out something."

He tried calming himself down as he rubbed her helm with his, "Thank you."

"You're welcome, my love."

Ripjaw slowly slipped into recharge again with a small loving smile on his face. Amberblade just sat there holding him in her arms. Little did she know that Laserbeak was watching from one of the rafters, as silently as he could he left to report back to his sire.

Soundwave and Razorclaw were heading back to their quarters when they saw Laserbeak flying over. Razorclaw watched as he connected back onto Soundwave's chest, "What did he find?"

"Amberblade was talking about turning herself in."

"Really? What brought that on?"

"She said she wanted to protect Ripjaw from getting hurt anymore."

Razorclaw blinked in surprise and disbelief. He started to question why she would want to protect someone like Ripjaw. But then again, Soundwave protected him, a mech that didn't deserve protecting, "Should we tell Bumblebee?"

"I think he should know."

With a small nod, the two headed back to Med Bay to tell Bumblebee the situation.

Bumblebee was sitting by Grimlock watching him sleep when he saw the two walking in, "Is something wrong?" Fixit asked feeling confused as to why they returned after being dismissed. Soundwave replayed what Laserbeak had seen.

"So, Amberblade wanted to turn herself in to save Ripjaw but Ripjaw wouldn't allow her," Bumblebee said once the recording was over.

"It looks like he really cares about what happens to her," Grimlock said.

Bumblebee looked over at him, " Oh hey, didn't know you woke up."

"I woke up just a minute ago."

"Hope it wasn't because of us," Razorclaw said.

"Don't worry about it, Razorclaw, it's alright," Grimlock grinned.

"Anyways, it sounds like they both really care for each other."

"Is it weird that I feel bad for them?" Grimlock asked quietly.

"I feel bad too."

"So, what do we do?" Razorclaw asked.

"Not sure."

"I'm going back to recharge, night," Grimlock mumbled as he closed his optics.

"Alright, Grim, sleep well," Bumblebee said as he smiled at him.

Razorclaw watched the two for a moment, "What would you do if you were in that situation?"

"What situation?" Soundwave asked.

"Like Ripjaw and Amberblade."

"Being on the run?"

"Yes, and not want anything to happen to either of us."

"Not sure. I do know that I will kill any bot that tries to hurt you."

"I know, I would too."

Let's head home.

Alright.

They leave to head back to their quarters. Razorclaw lies down on the berth with a sigh from the long day, "Tired?" Soundwave asked.

"Yes," he replied softly as he watched his mate.

Soundwave laid down next to him, "So am I."

Moving closer to him, Razorclaw wrapped his tail around his waist, "I love you."

"I love you too," Soundwave said as he slipped into recharge. Watching his mate for a while, Razorclaw tried to fall into recharge, but he couldn't. Even though he couldn't feel it he could see how much Ripjaw and Amberblade loved each other.

"Hey, Bumblebee. How's Grimlock?" Russell asked as he came into Med Bay with Sideswipe.

"He's sleeping. He'll have to stay in Med Bay for a month or so, after that he will have therapy so he can get the use of his leg functioning again, which could also take about two months."

"Oh wow, that's messed up."

"Yeah, but he's going to be okay."

"That's good."

Ripjaw woke up still in Amberblade's arms as she looked down and smiled at him, "Sleep well?"

"Yes, did you get any sleep?"

"No, I just watched you."

Ripjaw chuckled softly, "How does my neck look?"

"It's looking good. You think you can walk?"

"I think so," he replied as he slowly got up.

"Good, we need to get moving and find another place before the Autobots come back."

"I need to get my armor," he told her as he tried to move only to stop when he felt his spike hardening.

"Are you okay? Want me to get your armor?"

"My spike is really starting to get on my nerves. If you don't mind."

She goes over to get his armor then comes back, "Want to do a quick frag before we leave?"

"I would like that," he smiled at her, "I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble."

"No trouble at all," she said with a smile, "If you would please transform," she said as she took off her panel. Transforming into his bot form he leaned against the wall, watching her closely.

"Why are you watching me like that?" She asked as she got down on her knees.

"You're just so beautiful."

She smiled as she blushed a bit before she bent over and started pleasuring him.
