"Hey, Grimlock. How was patrol?" Bumblebee greeted the Dinobot.

"Hey, went well."

"You didn't have any problems? Didn't run into any Decepticons?"

"Uh, no I didn't run into any Decepticons and you know I always tell the truth."

"Okay? Why don't you go get some Energon? I'm going on a patrol with Optimus and Ultra Magnus, I'll see you later."

"OK, 'Bee," Grimlock said giving him the most convincing smile he could.

Bumblebee headed off to Magnus and Optimus. That was a little odd.

Grimlock headed over to get some Energon. That was a close one. But why did I lie? Grimlock thought as he drank his Energon.

Later that night, Grimlock stayed up thinking about Diamondback's offer. Should I take it or not? Throwing off his blanket, Grimlock let out a growl of frustration. Why was this so hard? It had been a long time since he had gotten to smash something. But how will Bumblebee take it if I go with them? I don't want to leave him and I really enjoy our time together. He lays there thinking things over until he falls into recharge.

The next morning, Grimlock woke up with a possessor ache, "This is what I get for thinking too much," he says as he gets up and heads out to get some Energon.

"Eyo, Grimlock, did you have a hard time sleeping last night?" Thunderhoof asked as he picked up a cube.

"No, why?"

"You look really tired like you haven't gotten much sleep."

"Oh..."

"You okay?"

"Yeah, was just thinking about a few things."

"Want to talk about it?"

"Not really."

"If you change your mind just let me know," Thunderhoof said as he headed back to meet with Metalsound.

"I will. Oh man, what am I going to do?" Grimlock asked himself quietly.

"Do about what?" A familiar voice came out in question. Grimlock let out a small scream as he turned to the voice. Bumblebee was standing right behind him, "What are you gonna do about what, Grim?"

"I think I just had a sparkattack," Grimlock gasped.

"What, from me speaking up?"

"I didn't hear you coming up."

"Sorry, Grim."

"Did you need something?"

"Was just wondering what was going on."

"I'm fine, just had a little trouble sleeping last night."

"How come?"

"I had a bad dream. By the time I woke up, I forgot what the dream was but I was too scared to go back to sleep."

"Oh. Is something bothering you?"

"I met one of Ripjaw's comrades yesterday and he said that Ripjaw wanted me to join his group. He asked me if I liked smashing stuff and I said yes so he told me that if I joined Ripjaw then I could smash stuff whenever I wanted. I'm really sorry I lied to you yesterday, and no I'm not going to join Ripjaw. I love you and the others too much." Grimlock closed his optics as he vented out a sigh of relief. I feel better.

Bumblebee just looked at him with wide optics, "I see..."

"I don't know why I lied but I'm really sorry," Grimlock spoke softly as he looked at Bumblebee with sad optics.

"It's okay, Grim. But you're gonna have to be honest with me from now on, especially since we're starting up a relationship."

"I understand. I also told him that I would meet him today to give my answer."

"Are you gonna reject?"

"Yeah. As I said, I love you and everyone here too much to just leave."

Bumblebee smiled at him, "Good."

"We could use this opportunity to catch him."

"Yes, good thinking, Grim."

"We may need some back up though. This guy looked tough."

"Which one was it?"

"The one that looks like a Stegosaurus."

"Yeah, we'll definitely need backup."

"Who should we bring?"

"How about Thunderhoof and Steeljaw?"

"That could work."

"Yep, those two are the only ones I can think of that would be able to take down the Dinobot."

"I'll lead the way." Grimlock headed off to the entrance. Wait, does this make me the leader of this mission?

"I'll go get the others."

Grimlock stayed by the entrance while he waited for the others. He kept trying to think of a plan to capture Diamondback. Bumblebee returns with the other two, "We're all ready."

"Okay, follow me." Grimlock transformed and led the way, "I was thinking since he's going to think I'm alone maybe you guys could hide, and when the moment's right that's when we get him."

The others transformed and followed, "Exactly what I was thinking," Bumblebee tells him.

Grimlock smiled, glad that Bumblebee liked the plan. They made it to the meeting spot and Bumblebee, Thunderhoof, and Steeljaw hid under a cluster of trees waiting for the right moment to strike. Grimlock looked around for the Stegosaurus.

Diamondback looked up when he saw the other Dinobot, "I was starting to think you weren't going to show up," he joked.

"Uh, of course, I showed up."

"Heh, those Autobots made you tense, relax. So, you coming?"

"No, I'm not, I'll stick with the Autobots."

"Ripjaw's not going to be happy and I'd rather not get on his bad side." Diamondback sighed as he rubbed the back of his helm, "Guess we'll have to do this the hard way." Transforming, Diamondback let out a roar as he swung his tail at Gimlock's legs. Grimlock blocked his attack and the others came out to help him, "You slagger, you set me up," the Stegosaurus growled as he fired his tail spikes toward them.

"Yes, I did," Grimlock said before he went in for a punch. Diamondback swung his tail again, blocking Gimlock's punch. Grimlock grabbed his tail and slung him into a tree. With a yell, the opposing Dinobot snapped the tree in half and fell to the ground.

As he tried to get up, Steeljaw came running over and jumped on the Dinobot throwing a punch at his side. Diamondback let out a snarl in pain as he swung his tail wildly. The mechs dodged the Dinobot's tail as they all attacked him to knock him out. With a pained yell, Diamondback fell to the ground, unable to fight back anymore. The Dinobot transformed and Bumblebee moved in to cuff him.

"You're going to regret this," Diamondback hissed to Grimlock.

"Not likely."

They all head back to the scrapyard with their captive, "Nice work, Grimlock," Thunderhoof complemented while patting the Dinobot on the back.

"Thanks, Thunderhoof."

"You're welcome, big guy."

"That was really good thinking, I'm proud of you," Bumblebee tells him.

"Aww, it was nothing," Grimlock replied with a blush. Bumblebee just smiled at him.

"We'll get our Decepticon into a stasis pod," Steeljaw said as he and Thunderhoof went on ahead.

"OK," Bumblebee responded.

Ripjaw paced back and forth in his Dino form, growling with impatience as he waited for Diamondback to return with Grimlock.

"Still no sign of him?" Patchy asked as he and Amberblade walked up to him.

"No, and he should have been back by now," Ripjaw snarled.

"Think the Dinobot may have set him up to be captured?" Amberblade asked.

The Spinosaurus stopped pacing and looked to Amberblade, "Diamondback isn't that stupid to let himself get captured. Still, it wouldn't hurt to check. Patchy, go to where they were supposed to meet."

"Yes, sir," Patchy said before heading out.

"What do you want me to do, sir?" Amberblade asked.

"Do we have enough Energon to sustain all of us?"

"For a little while. Want me to go ahead and get some more?"

"You can do that later," he rumbled as he licked her neck.

"Yes, sir," she whispered as a smile formed on her face.
