Chapter 2 (Kyle)
It was about time Kyle let him go. He was getting too clingy. Too needy, and Kyle didn't do that shit. All he wanted was a good fuck, not some dude who's with him 24/7 which is starting to feel more like 36/7 honestly has the guy ever heard of personal space. Walking up to the front desk where his elder sister, Maya, worked he smiled his best smile, which automatically gave away that he needed something from her.
Sighing Maya stopped what she was doing her fingers splayed inches apart from the keyboard. She was supposed to be logging in the new information for the new recruits who would be joining "the Grey" today, but Kyle wouldn't go away until he got what he wanted.
Waiting for his sister's amber gaze to meet his own set of vibrant orange and yellow eyes, Kyle smiled. "Sis, you know I love you right?"
Maya rolled her eyes already knowing what was coming next. "You want me to assign you to a new mission? You already asked me to assign you to another one this week. You know I can't just keep changing your schedule."
"I got that but come on he's like so clingy, and I told him that-" Kyle began but Maya already knew what her younger brother was going to say.
"That you aren't looking for a full-time thing just a hookup, ya ya, ya, I know. But then explain to me why you went back to him five times already." Maya cocked a brow, her posh British accent peeking out. She's gotten that accent ever since she left to study abroad. Kyle rolled his eyes.
"Hey, it's not my fault they're all obsessed over me. I can't help it if I'm just gorgeous. Besides he was a good lay." Kyle said, smiling his pearly whites on full display. He made sure to bat his lashes just in case his sister didn't get the memo that he was drop-dead charming. Kyle didn't necessarily have a type per se but he did date more men than girls, but no matter the gender they were always so clingy when he wanted to call things off.
"Speaking of which, how's Kira? What's been up with you guys lately?" Kyle said, flipping through a page of the magazine on the front desk. A guide for the perfect dat-. Scowling Maya hastily snatched the booklet away.
Maya and Kyle might only be half-related, being that her father and his were on opposite sides since she was half-Indian and Kyle was not. What with his flaming red hair and her brown frizzes, not many people knew they were related. Plus, Maya had a soft brown tint to her skin whereas Kyle's pale complexion could match any of the lightest white peach shade concealer out there. That is if Kylie didn't come to the front desk so often that everyone knew he and Maya were indeed siblings.
"We're fine, but this is the last time I'm changing your schedule ok? I could get into major trouble, you know." She said tapping away at the computer in front of her. Kyle wasn't always so wishy-washy with his missions. He just couldn't work with someone who's always so glued to him that's all, and he thought maybe getting a little action before work would help their teamwork skill on a mission. Everyone knows sex can link a person together. Whether they're talking about or doing it. Who would have thought that one of them would grow so attached.
"There, all done anything else?" Maya said as Kyle flashed his dimpled grin before kissing his sister on the cheek and skipping away.
"Nope thanks again, love ya sis!" He called back, his hands held up in a wave goodbye like a little kid. Tucked under his other arm, however, was that very magazine as he swirled back watching as Maya's face turned outraged at his slippery figures. Kyle couldn't help it, he loved teasing his sister, not that he'd actually read the thing. He was already good at charming the pants or panties off people. Man or woman, they all groveled to their knees to get a load of him down their throats.
Speaking of throats Kyle remembered he had an appointment with one right now in fact. But duty calls, the head of the informant group wants to meet him. In "the Grey" there were three groups, Mercenaries, the ones who carried out the killings and stuff. The Informants, those who went out to gather information, scope out a place, and things like that.
Occasionally the Mercenaries and Informants would share a job, as either team could be sent out to retrieve something, it would of course depend on how high level of a risk the mission was. If it was more dangerous then it was more likely that the missions would go to the mercenaries. Finally, there were the Researchers, the ones who came up with all our little gadgets and poisons and stuff. They mainly work behind the scenes rarely do they ever get sent out. And since Kyle didn't want to get locked behind a steel door all day or damage his perfect face, he decided to go align with the Informants.
Now that he thinks about it. It probably would be best if he didn't go back and fuck that guy since he was trying to tell him to back the fuck off, but he gives such a good head. Oh well, Kyle was sure he'd find another guy, or girl, or hell any one. Ya, they were always throwing themselves at him, it'll only be a matter of time.
