Six pov.

As we rushed past burning fires i saw people running scared. "What the fuck is going on?" I yell as we get to some strange looking open storage place. We did super quick introductions as we ran. The stickler was Kaidan Alenko. The girl in pink was Ashley Williams. The red head and buzz cut were Lilith Shepard and John Shepard. Family, such a lovely combo.

"The shipping dock is right up ahead." Kaidan said as we opened fired on the blue ghouls and those robots. "Nihilus told us to meet him there." 

"Who the fuck is he?"

"A Turian Spectre." Lilith said as she gunned down 2 of those ghouls. She then spun around and shot a robot that was right behind me.

"A tury whatie?" I asked as the enemy fell. I looked down seeing some grenades. "Oh piece of candy." i say jokingly as Ashley rolled her eyes. 

"A Turian Spectre is an elite group that is made up of the greatest species of the galaxy. They mostly consist of Turians, Salarians, and Asari. They are the right arm of the council." John said with obvious annoyance. "And lucky us for mee-" he stopped mid-sentence as 3 people came out of a building. Rex and Roxie ran up and started sniffing with curiosity. 

"Every stay calm out there. We're coming out, we're not armed." one of them said as i instantly put up my guard. "Are we safe? are they gone?"

"You're okay. nobody's gonna hurt you." Lilith said in a calming tone. "What happened?"

"Those things were  crawling all over the ship. Would have found us for sure. we owe you our lives." I started tuning them out as i scanned our surroundings for more threats while the military guys here asked questions. "Hey Cole, we should give them the stuff..... We're just farmers."

"What stuff are you talking about?" John asked with some coldness in his tone. 

"Some guys in the port were running a smuggling ring. for a cut pf the profits we let them sort store stuff in the sheds." Cole said with slight shame. 

"You're breaking the law." Lilith spoke unhappily. "Whose your contact?"

"He didn't do nothing wrong i know it. I'm not gonna tell." Cole said with firmness.

"HOW DARE-" Ashley started before i held up a hand.

"Do you got kids Cole?" i ask as the farmer shook his head slowly. "So then you don't care that your taking supplies from soldiers that could mean the difference between life and death. Hell for all you know your contact could have called in these fucking robots cause they wanted to give him a sweet deal."

"But he wouldn't do that i kn-" Cole started only to get stopped.

"Not to mention the fact that if he was the cause and such those could tie back to you implicating you for terrorism." I shrug as Cole looked down with an inquisitive look. "But hey if you know him, then he's gotta be a good guy cause smuggling is such an honest profession."

"His name is Powell. He's a good guy." i nod and pat his shoulder. "He'd be down at the shipping docks." i give a whistle and wave the gun he gave Lilith in-front of Rex nose. 

"Lets go find Powell boy." He barked before taking off with Roxie at his heels. "And we have a new lead."

"Your buddy there has some interesting gear." Cole said as i walked away. "Who is he?"

"We found him not to far away from here. We thought you would know." Kaidan said as i pulled out my pip-pad going over to the radio and turning on New Vegas Radio recordings i took after coming back from Zion Canyon. just so i had something to listen to i recognized. 

"If some dude looking like that took up residence here we'd know." Cole said before he and his friends walked back in the shed.

"I think we got a problem on our hands commander." John said faintly as i came upon a weird bird looking face corpse. I leaned down and started inspecting the body seeing the shot entered from the back of the head. "Hmm looks like a cockatoo." i say as i heard someone say get this dog off me. I whistle loudly as i heard Rex robotic bark before dragging a dude by his pant legs  out from behind a box.

"What were you doing sneaking behind those boxes?" John asked as Rex panted happily.

"I was hiding from those monsters. My name is Powell. I saw what happened to the turian. The other one shot him." Powell said as i gripped my new rifle tightly. "The other turian got here first waiting when your friend arrived. I think he was called Saren. I think they knew each other. Your friend seemed to relax and the other pulled out a side arm and shot him in the back of the head." He said scared as i just stared silently. "He is gonna stop. he is scaring me more."

"Where did Saren go?"Lilith asked as Roxie rejoined us holding a blue ghoul arm in her mouth. 

"He jumped on the Cargo train and headed to the other platform. Probably after the beacon." Powell sighed sadly. "I knew that thing was trouble the moment we dug it up. They killed everyone."

"Why didn't those funking looking robots find you? Why didn't anyone else hide behind the crates?" I asked as i pulled the arm out throwing it over my shoulder as Roxie raced after it. "Wait..... your eyes are bloodshot and have bags under them."

"I....I was taking a nap. I need 40 winks to get through my shift sometimes. so i sneak off behind the crates where the supervisor can't catch me." Powell sadly looked down with shame. "I don't want to think about it." 

"Didn't Cole mention someone named Powell?" Ashley asked as I looked down seeing Roxie and Rex play fighting making me smile. I got down on my knee and started scratching their ears. i felt a foot hit mine as i looked up and saw John with an annoyed look. 

"Come on we're going on the cargo train." John spoke as i groaned slightly getting up. As we went down a set of stairs shot flew above us as my Courier kick ass skilled kicked in. i launched myself over the railing landing with a roll into cover as i pulled out the pistol unloading it in the nearest robot. John, Ashley, Lilith, and Kaidan joined me as I reloaded. 

"So what are these overpowered can openers called again?" I yelled over the gun fire as Rex and Roxie laid on the ground.

"Geth." John responded as he pulled out a shogun and open fired on the can openers. "They are artificial intelligence hive mind."

"They should meet Toasty. would have loved to hear that conversation." I mutter as i think about the sadistic toaster in the Sink. I then rolled out of cover and used VATS to land 4 head-shots on a giant Geth. Then as if propelled by missiles Rex and Roxie Flew forward and attached themselves aggressively to one of the Geth tearing it apart ruthlessly.

"what do you feed those dogs?" Ashley asked as i stood up holstering my side arm. 

"Would you believe me if i told you that that eat electronics and irradiated water?" I say as she looks taken back. "Yeah they eat canned dog food and Rex loves meat." i chuckle as they come up dragging the deactivated Geth. "Who are some good dogs?! That's right you 2 are!"

"You are sadistic...." Ashley said as i scoffed.

"You think this is bad? you should have met Caesar. Freaking sadistic asshole." i say as the cargo train starts moving forward at a fast pace. "I mean who even crucifys people?" She kept staring at me. 

"Who are you?" Ashley asked as i smirked.

"I'm the best damn Courier you've ever met." I say as the train comes to a stop right at a bomb. "Oh shit." 

"THEY'RE TRYING TO BLOW UP THE PLATFORM!" John yelled as he tried disarming it. i pulled out my rifle again and started firing at the Geth as they shot at us from a bridge. As we fired back i went off on and started chucking those grenades taking out 3 Geth as John run up onto a bridge above us and started disarming another bomb. 

"What do Geth get out of blowing this up?" I asked as Rex and Roxie started attacking Geth at random allowing us to take out more of their forces with ease. My new rifle just kept ingratiating the Geth as I enjoyed the site. After disarming 2 more bombs he said that we were clear and found ourselves in-front of a glowing great object. 

"It wasn't doing this when we dug it up." Ashley said as i got closer with her. Then without warning we got lifted into the air. 

"OH FUCK NOT AGAIN! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY BRAIN AGAIN!" Lilith ran over pulling Ashley out of the way only to take her place. Then i blacked out as images of planets getting destroyed by some weird explosions and alien looking mother fuckers.
