this is far from my best work.
however

i've written more in your absense
in the last eight months
than i have in the last five years

you're my muse
my exigence
my inspiration

the reason i fight is for you
the reason i write is for you

after we won last summer
you refused to be a god
because of what it would do to me

i can't live with out, percy
you're my hero

you're my hero
and you always will be

and i'll always be yours.
