JULIA PRITCHARD IS SUNSHINE PERSONIFIED. There's no way around it, she has the ability to brighten up any room she walks in with a simple smile and a flip of her hair. She captures the eye and the soul with a grin, it's in her nature.

She smiled in the face of everything, but it's a shame that it should include homelessness. Her adoptive parents were wonderful, caring people that didn't leave her much after their death, leaving her scrambling to find a good job and an apartment that passes the health check. That, and taking care of an uncle she's barely even seen, who drinks half his weight every night.

The solution comes for her, as she does find an alright job. As for an apartment, her biological parents were friends with a butler – who even has a butler? – called Alfred Pennyworth, who apparently saw her growing up, which she doesn't remember, but he's willing to have her move into some huge mansion, so she's not going to ruin the moment. The uncle problem, well, should be resolved with a smile every night.

And when Bruce Wayne decides to come back to life and move back into the same mansion, Julia does try to take it all with a smile. But he's clearly not literal sunshine. Not that she would mind, but his ever so gloomy mood always clashes with her bright personality.

The mansion seems nowhere big enough to keep them away from hovering around each other, or bothering each other, and in a matter of days, Julia's name is the most screamed word in the place, and her grin is replaced by a pout. She was trying, okay?

On top of it all, there was also that Batthing that started going around in Gotham, and Julia isn't crazy, alright, she isn't... But she's convinced that it's Bruce doing dress up and saving people.

Surely this can't get any worse.
