Entry for MessyTheAuthor

MessyTheAuthor Here's my entry. It's Fierrochase because that is what I live for.

*Magnus POV*

Gods! I'm an IDIOT! How could I have been so stupid! I picked up the couch and threw it against the door so hard, it flew off the hinges. In my rage, however, I didn't notice this so as I kept throwing things across the room, a couple of them hit Alex's door.

The door swung open and a furious Alex stormed out to see what was going on. She's beautiful when she's angry. I faltered as I was about to throw the lamp and let it drop to the floor instead. I looked around, just noticing the mess, and realized how much work I had probably just cause some hotel staff. Everything came welling up inside of me and suddenly I was overcome by emotion. I sat hard on the ground. Alex just watched all of this from the frame of my door.

"Can I come in, or is this a bad time?" I vaguely grunted and told her to leave. She didn't.

"You look like you need someone right now." She picked up the door and laid it on the frame she was standing in moments ago. That gave us a bit of privacy, but not much. She walked over to me and sat beside me. As she slung her arm around my shoulder, she looked at the pictures on my mantle.

She pointed to the picture of me and my mom and asked, "Who's that?" I looked down at my lap and whispered, "Me and my mom." She looked surprised for a second then quickly got over it.

"She is very pretty." I fidgeted a little.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" she asked. When I didn't answer after a while, she got up and said, "Okay, well if you ever do, you know where to find me."

I look up to watch her leave the room but before she gets to the door I call out, "Alex."

She turns her head to the side and glances at me before turning around the rest of the way. "Yeah Magnus?"

"Um, I just wanted to know, uh, why do you have an open-air atrium like me?" She smiled and made her way back over to sit with me on the floor.

"Well, I told you how I like to hike, and spend my time outside, right?" She chuckled. "Nature doesn't judge me like humans do. I feel more at peace."

We both laid down in the grass and just stared up at the tree intertwining with the rafters. After laying there a while, Alex rolled on her side and looked at me instead. I glanced at her out of the corner of my eyes and asked, "What?"

She shrugged a bit and continued looking at me. Soon, I could feel a blush spread across my face.

"What?" I demanded.

"Nothing," she said. "You are just pleasant to look at." I blushed deeper and tried looking away but I couldn't get her words out of my head.

"You think I'm hot?" I asked. She shook her head and said, "No, you're just pleasant to look at. There's a difference, Magnus." I could hear the scolding insult she threw in the undertones. She leaned a bit closer to me and I couldn't help but lean in as well.

"Magnus, are you sure?" she whispers, barely moving her lips.

At first I thought she was asking if I was sure I didn't want to talk about it, but then I realized what she was actually talking about.

"Yes," I whisper back, as close as I could get without our lips touching. Not yet.

She registers my confirmation and leans in a bit more, connecting my lips with her soft ones. She puts a little pressure in the kiss and I lace my hands through her hair.

We pull apart, both blushing a shade of ferocious red. We don't say anything, we don't need to, and continue looking into each other's eyes.

It was the best night ever.
