Miho sat in a small office in the main tank shed. The office was Humble A  German Imperial flag and The flag of Ooarai sat behind a thick oak desk and chair along with a small table in the corner and a filing cabinet and the Japanese flag on another wall in the office.

Miho had been called to the office right after lunch By order of Colonel Asha after excusing herself at the office she hurried to the tank sheds to see what Asha needed.

After a few more minutes of waiting Asha soon came into the room Miho quickly stood up and saluted the colonel who returned the gesture. 

"Greetings Commander Miho."

Miho rolled her eyes at Asha's statement she had told the good colonel before that using her title was not necessary given their history. 

"Asha How many times do I have to tell you to simply call me miho." Miho says with a small chuckle.

'Of course Miho but as you know it's a habit of mine."

"Yeah I'm aware now then what did you want to discuss today."

Asha's face quickly turned serious as she gestured for miho to sit down in the chair opposite of her desk. Once Miho and Asha were seated Asha pulled out a folder from her desk and placed it on the top.

"I believe that it would be useful if we discussed what happened in the practice match 3 days ago." Asha says while opening the folder for miho to see.

The folder was organized into 4 sections each with a picture of one of Ooarai's tanks. 

"hey how come the Panzer 4 isn't here." Miho says gesturing to the folder and the pictures in it

"Simple I was with you while I have notes on what we can do to improve the panzer 4's performance regarding your team composition currently We can discuss that later what I brought you here to talk about was the performance of the other 4 teams."  

"It was Miho's turn to adopt a more serious expression as she nodded her head in acknowledgment for Asha to begin."

"Firstly let's discuss rabbit team and Lieutenant Shuichi."

Miho nodded as she began her thoughts: Well rabbit team is made up of entirely 1st years so their inexperience is to be expected. But if I'm not wrong the Lieutenant when he first interacted with them wasted no time in throwing his weight around his rank at them.

"You are correct miho Lieutenant Shuichi intimidated rabbit team to follow his lead. However this violates regulations Of Iron clad warfare. You see when we work directly with Sensha-do teams ground units will be immediately put under teh commander of teh Sensha-do team overall. Therefore He disobeyed orders and regulations to pursue Glory."

"I agree Asha what do you propose we do about it?"

"I recommend monitoring him on the next combat experience and one more step out of line will result in his court martial.

"Agreed. Now then I believe duck team is next."

"Yup."

Miho Immediately grabed teh file on Duck team: They wanted to be more aggressive against their opponents and wanted to sign a pact with the stug 3 but their officer Lieutenant Hasashi would not allow it. He believed it was too risky to attack and wanted to dig in. However while they were arguing over strategy The stug and Rabbit team simultaneously attacked them. 

"That is correct However Hasashi had more respect for His Sensha -do counterparts then Shuichi. So I believe just helping them work out their differences will be beneficial."

"Agreed. I think we can Ignore Koume's notes for today because she works directly with you."

"Very well. That leaves the student council and captain Suzume: They got along great but Suzume clashed with momo over strategy because momo wanted a full attack against us but Suzume wanted to hold out and spread out lightly rather then attack us."

"Indeed Had Suzume's plan been followed without question I believe they could have defeated us."

"I agree. True captain Suzume is not an experienced commander but her plan will essentially trap any force if they aren't careful."

"I think we should keep them together cause I believe eventually they will work things out."

"while I'm not as optimistic about that outcome as you are mam I'll trust your judgement Miho. However I will keep my eye on Shuichi cause I feel of all our officers he's the one most likely to go rogue and derail our plans and the chain of command by hunting for glory targets."

"Agreed I'll also keep my eye on him as well." Miho states seriously  while looking at her phone which had just buzzed." Oh I'm so sorry Asha I promised I'd meet up with my teammates at 6:30pm." She says while getting up to leave.

Asha simply smiles at her friend proud that Miho had found some true friends of her own not just her an Koume. " It's all good Miho I'll wrap up what's left here. Go see your friends."

Smiling miho raced out the door. After miho had left Asha Picked up the file on rabbit team And Shuichi and frowned. She had thought that none of her officers were glory hogs Reckless maybe but aside from minor arguments they should all respect the chain of command almost flawlessly. It made her gut twist contemplating what lengths he may go to to achieve his glory.

(5 days later).

(AN: I'm not following exact dates for this Fanfic just so your all aware I'll be making time jumps like this often but all the events will still happen regardless.)

Asha was proud of the progress the troops had made. The more rookie soldiers were now becoming more skilled with every passing day. However one change that had amused her was the Sensha-do team.

2 days ago they had painted their tanks different styles which amused her and her other officers to no end. As a matter of fact when she and her officers had come to the tank sheds to discuss why the student council prez had summoned them. Then they took one look at the 4 styled tanks and her lieutenants exploded with laughter while she and her captains were struggling to hold it in. 

Rabbit team's tank was pink Aside from it being a color associated with being cute she had no idea what military significance that paint job did.

She slightly Understood the Hippo teams make over but she could not for the life of her wrap her head around why they had 4 giant banners on the top of the tanks. 

The duck team had at least kept most of it's paint job except for giant white writing.

finally the student council had completely gold coated their tank and Asha had no idea why momo thought that gold lightbulb could blend in with green trees and hills. 

If they lost a tank due to these radical paint jobs Asha would make that tank team scrub their tank clean with tooth brushes.

Funny enough both Koume and Suzume were arguing with their Sensha do counterparts. Regarding why they painted their tanks so ridiculously. 

However they soon realized that the reason they'd been called was because they were discussing their battle plans For an upcoming match against St Gloriana.

(Planning room.)

"You see we will use one of our tanks as a decoy to lure the enemy to our kill zone. Meanwhile Colonel Asha will position her men here." Momo says drawing 5 circles on the map. " With their panzerfausts and artillery they can dig a defensive line to stall St Gloriana and their support troops."

Asha did not like this plan at all. For one thing St Gloriana's British forces often had support tanks which would blow over trenches especially rapidly dug ones like the type they would be digging if momo's plan was approved. fortunately it looked like miho also had misgivings about the plan and spoke up.

"St Gloriana is to experienced . They will probably suspect our trap a lot faster then you may expect them to and Asha and her men won't be able to dig a trench fast enough Because St Gloriana has two advantages we don't. They have support tanks and a small air squadron both will pummel a crudely built trench line and leave our infantry to exposed."

"I agree with Miho my men are good but against such a well organized enemy like them I doubt we can hold out for long." Asha says while crossing her arms.

"The colonel and Miho are right we need a different plan." Koume says gesturing at the white board .

Suzume and Most of the other tank commanders agreed with Miho's statement however Lieutenant Shuichi took this as an opportunity to open his big mouth. 

"If I may commander Kawashima. If you detach my unit form Rabbit team I can circle here and lay in wait to ambush the enemy when they get within range thus weakening their offensive capabilities and if you give colonel Asha free reign with her men I'm sure she can use them more freely to ambush the enemy. Mean while if your team sticks to their role in teh plan in luring the enemy I am confident Asha can reinforce you if things get ugly."

The plan he proposes wold be god but Asha feared what could happen if he attacked to early. If he attacks the instant they get in range of his men that may make St Gloriana even more cautious. and her forces will be weakened. 

Asha made a mental note to try to Get miho to lure the battle to the town so her men can commit urban warfare tactics which will allow them to remove The RAF as a factor.

But for now Asha and her men left the conference room to prep their men for the battle in 2 days.
