M/n's favorite activity for the day is pushing past bouncers and shoving some rich people to the side.

Was it out of spite? Totally, not. . .

"Out of the way-!" He exclaimed rather enthusiastically. He seriously was picking up on Eugene's optimism, and he's not sure if it was a good thing. "What's with the ruckus? I'm receiving numerous complains."

"A korean gangster started causing trouble. We're not sure why he's here."

M/n realized that the man had spoken in chinese, luckily for them, his father was fluent in the language and taught him enough to get by. So, he had no trouble communicating.

"I'll go and see what he's here for." He replied, his accent a little lacking but it was enough to get the message by.

As he approaches, about to question him about the problem, a hand suddenly came in front of him to halt him.

"I got this, sir. There's no need to sweat, this'll be quick."

M/n felt a twinge of annoyance. Did he think he was planning to fight that intimidating thug? No, not at all. He was trying to make peace, in fact.

"What center do you belong in?" He questioned the confident male who came into a fighting stance.

"White tiger job center, sir."

Noted. M/n will surely check on it later. From what he recalls, Manager Kim worked for the same agency as well. Not sure where he's now but M/n doubts he'll forget about the skilled man any time sooner. He was basically what he aspires to be as soon as he hits the same age.

Should he stand by and see what he was capable of? It's no doubt that the korean gangster was tough, by appearance alone. But when he bought fishcakes from him, he was rather nice.

Someone must have messed with him.

It wasn't looking good for the white tiger intern either, he looked a little troubled, intimidated by Vasco's stance, it was muay thai- just like his, but he could tell that it was better, he just didn't want for it to get to him.

"We can talk this out, you don't need to face him." M/n casually spoke up, he was not exactly concerned, just felt like it was a waste of time.

But the way people are cheering by the sidelines, seemingly enjoying, should he really? How does one like Eugene think? Would he have allowed this to please the clients?

"I got this." The intern proved to be stubborn.

"If you say so."

"Sir, we've notified Vivi about the problem." A guard approached him, murmuring. M/n sighed, why bring them in? He was sure that he was capable enough to deal with this responsibility.

He would hate to be no more than a meter close to a drug addict who abuses her privileges. But work and personal preference were two different things, he has to keep a professional front.

"There they are!" One murmured.

M/n casually glanced at the side, catching sight of Vivi and her bodyguard who was said to have a deadly weapon. Vivi looked high, as usual, and her bodyguard looked ready to defend her at any time.

So, this was the notorious daughter of a wealthy chinese businessman?

It was half-disappointing.

"How many people did Tom send from the White tiger job center?" M/n questioned, not sparing a glance at one of the working guards whom he popped the question to.

"2, an intern and another one that's up for an interview."

An intern, so the person the thug is fighting now. And the other. . . M/n hasn't seen them yet but he'll make sure to check on it, he can't be careless when it comes to the people that another agency sent. It can cause another trouble for all he knows.

"What will your orders be, sir?" The guard leaned to hear his reply. M/n allowed his eyes to scan the situation before sighing.

"The intern is losing. Just ask the gangster what he wants, there's no need to cause a further scene."

As he was about to move to comply to M/n's orders, they were suddenly halted when Vivi's bodyguard assessed a bothersome idea.

"Is that Xiaolung?" M/n spoke up, narrowing his eyes. He earned a little curt nod. "I see." It their Club, he was only assigned to keep them on track. But it seems like his words won't matter as much to them.

It's not like he's devoted to his work, he can actually spend more hours chilling by the sidelines rather than handling the club's problems. He may be a strategist but who needs that when you're in a club? It's not like he can rule over billionaires.

"What will the order be, sir?"

M/n pursed his lips into a thin line. "Allow Xiaolung and Vivi to handle this, they seem to have a hefty idea of what to do."

And the idea? Use this situation to test the people they're interviewing. That was it. M/n was totally feeling the need of comfort on Gun's couch at the moment, he missed the cold leather that was even more comfortable than his own bed.

He bets even Gun's floor was more comfortable than his bed.

He often does some sleepovers in Gun's place, but other than that, there are times where he had to return to his apartment since his precious collection was there- and anyone on their right mind would take the opportunity to steal it.

"Jane!" M/n immediately spotted the person he was just looking for. Jogging over to the male as soon as it was all over, he quickly handed him the money he owed. "As I promised."

Jake looked down and saw that M/n was hopping on one foot that had a shoe, he certainly looked like a crippled kangaroo.

"Thanks. . ." He trailed off, unsure. "I was trying to look for you earlier, but you were nowhere to be found." He guessed he must be one busy person to be away all the time. And seeing from his position earlier, he seems to be someone big around here. He wasn't lying when he said he could access Sinu's file.

"Oh, you did? Why? Did you feel guilty for taking a shoe out of a person?" M/n piped.

"It was you who gave it. But no, I wanted to return it since it was beginning to stink." Jake held out with a serious face, now M/n can't tell if he was serious or not. One thing he does know was that he certainly doesn't have stinky feet.

Johann glanced at the two who seems familiar enough. He can recognize the uglier one to be the one from the food stand much earlier today, and the other as Jake Kim who he knows he has met in the past but never bothered to bring up.

"Shut up, here's the the file, it's quite limited since it's the only one I could access at the moment thanks to the slow network. But this is my end of deal, goodluck on finding your long lost lover." M/n waved off before skipping towards a particular door upon being called to do his duties.

What an odd person, but thanks to him, Jake has a chance of knowing more about Sinu's whereabouts and condition. Although he could only check it once he gets his hands on a computer, he'll have to save and secure it for that.

He forgot to thank M/n. He was genuinely a good person, a total odd one for someone who works for the workers.
