# MEETING !
Gun was pissed.
He was not a very patient person that he could put up with all the shades the world would continously throw at him.
At first, he was at the phone with Goo (aka the world's biggest mistake), the blonde was yapping about common problems that was caused by the Chairman. And Gun didn't have the time to solve it since he was a busy man.
So, naturally— the responsibility would fall onto Goo. And the blonde was already pissed enough that Gun left all the debt collecting work to him, let alone having yet another problem to add up to it.
Gun was frustrated enough with the job he was handed, and with all the 4 major crews bullshit he has to deal with— and now, he just has to find his wallet missing seconds after someone snatched it discreetly.
Was he distracted? Gun pondered. He could usually tell if someone was near him, let alone with intentions to pickpocket him. But how come he didn't notice this time? Was it perhaps because his mind was on different matters?
No. That's impossible, no matter how occupied Gun's head can get, he never loses sight of his surroundings.
Meaning whoever pickpocketed him must be someone skilled. Someone skilled enough to get pass his senses.
Although he was intrigued by whoever it was, he still can't ignore the fact that his wallet was stolen. His wallet where he usually stores enough cash that could get him through a day. He wasn't careless enough to bring his offical credit card around, he obviously has spares.
But Gun was an expensive man, what he means by money that could get him through the day basically means money that could get an ordinary person through a year.
He can't let this slide, he was already pissed enough.
Luckily, it was not that long after he noticed his wallet was gone, meaning if he tracks the person down right away, he would have enough time to catch up.
He wasn't hasty, in fact, he blended with the crowd perfectly as he makes his way through, heading towards the alleys where he suspects that the thief would go. Although he was not very experienced in theft and alleyways, it would be easy to read ordinary people and their habits.
If his suspicions were correct, the thief has a habit of going through multiple routes. A wild guess.
Although as wild as it may seem, he was right, he could catch a glimpse of the iron plate glinting under the light. He could recognize the small iron plate anywhere, after all, it was not everyone who could afford expensive wallets with a customization.
It only riled him up even more.
Deciding to be smart and just take the shortcut to whatever direction he was going— he could spot the thief going the other way around, tilting his head to the side before sticking his tongue out childishly.
What an immature thief. It only taunted Gun further.
But it was quite surprising, the thief even noticed him following distantly? Perhaps he really was experienced despite his looks.
Whatever it was, it was still pissing Gun off.
It took another few minutes for Gun to fully outsmart the simpleton, blocking the exit as the thief immediately collided against his chest, falling back while rubbing his head in a wince.
"Was that a rock?"
The man's chest was solid. As solid as a rock. And by the short momentum of colliding against him made M/n realize that the man was packed.
The man picked up the fallen wallet on the ground, the one that slipped off as M/n fell back a while ago. Gun had successfully retrieved his wallet.
"Do you want to die?" Gun intimidated as he grabbed M/n by the collar of his shirt and pulled him up and close, threatening him as the only thing that separated their noses from touching was a thin layer of air.
Of course, it would be acknowledged that M/n was not a great fighter, nor does he seem like he would be able to stand up after receiving one weak punch. That was why Gun never really seemed too interested in the boy, he was only good at discreetly stealing possessions, what good can that be?
"Woah, there, old man." M/n grimaced as he pulled his head back, it was better to let his head hang loose to the side.
"Old man?" At this point, a tick mark was forming by Gun's temple. "Do you have a death wish?" He shook him.
M/n winced at the constant moving that was starting to make his head spin. "Stop shaking me! You can have your wallet back or whatever." He looked to the side, bottom lip sticking out slightly, and it wasn't even a gesture to appear cute— just a habit when he lies.
Though Gun didn't know him enough to be able to tell, but M/n was already suspicious enough.
The dark haired man released him, making M/n fall back the ground before Gun crouched down beside him, using his knee to keep the boy down so that he wouldn't run away nor escape.
It was annoying for M/n. Very annoying.
Gun then opened his wallet, checking its content to see if anything was missing. And although it was clear since his wallet was already overflowing with cash, he could tell that there indeed was something off.
The boy must have taken a few paper bills and kept it in his pockets, meaning he must have predicted that something like this would happen. Or perhaps, he anticipated it.
Gun turned to the boy he kept on the ground, eyes scanning him, trying to see what he should do with him.
Maybe turn him in? That wouldn't be too wise of Gun since he's not that nice. It would be a waste of talent. This boy managed to slip past his senses and snatched his wallet, and although Gun did realize it at the last second, the boy still successfully ran away for the first few minutes— getting far enough.
It was just unfortunate that Gun wasn't an ordinary human.
"Hey, what do you call yourself as? A thief? A pickpocket-er?" He questioned.
"Don't you know at all?" The boy spoke up, voice a little muffled since Gun's knee was pressing on his back, making it a little difficult to properly speak up from the pressure. "Fine, I'll let you on a secret." He sighed.
Gun arched a brow. Now what kind of nonsense will he talk about this time?
"I'm Korea's number one swindler."
Such confidence, and he even said it with utter pride. How embarrassing.
The dark haired male stood up, releasing his hold. "Self-proclaimed? That's pathetic."
How blunt! M/n almost deadpanned. This guy was no fun at all. "So, what?!" It seems like he can't hide how embarrassed he was by Gun's reaction.
He then collected himself, standing up before dusting himself.
"What's with you anyway, old man?" M/n urged. "Shouldn't you be reporting to the police now so that I can run?"
What an idiot, Gun realized.
He doesn't seem to have a plan, just a swindler who aimlessly goes around. People like him are usually those who struggle financially and are just simply good at deceiving. In other words, they were good-for-nothings.
But Gun isn't quick to judge. This ordinary pickpocket thief managed to get his attention, after all.
"Do you still insist on calling me an old man?" Gun started. "I could be younger than you." He pointed out, feeling his blood starting to boil.
And the way that M/n's face suddenly broke down incredulously only fueled Gun's annoyance. But he figured that he would need patience in order to talk to someone like the boy in front of him.
"Younger than me? I just turned 18, old man." He mocked, evidently taunting, reallg pushing the limits.
"Quit calling me old man, I just turned a year older than you, brat." Gun emphasized, returning with the same hostility as his eye starts to twitch from the irritation.
"O-l-d-m-a-n."
Never mind then, the kid was just as annoying as Goo— and Gun can't simply just handle both. Why is he so interested in a swindler anyway? It's not like this boy could benefit him in any way.
But to be able to slip past him. . .
"Hey, old man, I'm going now, I'm starving." M/n yawned. Is that really a gesture for someone hungry? Gun shook his head.
It may have only been pure luck that the boy stole his wallet without him noticing.
Yeah, that must be it. So, he should end this quickly.
"I don't want anything to do with you." Gun suddenly said as he turned away, ready to use his time wisely this time. So, what if the brat did have some talent? Gun was already dealing with enough bullshit from Goo and the 4 major crews.
"What's with the sudden mood shift? And as if I want to have anything to do with you as well!" Both were stubborn.
Gun furrowed his brows. How childish.
But he decided to walk off without saying another word. He doesn't know the boy enough to care, and from what he sees, the brat was indeed just a brat. He shouldn't concern himself with the likes of him.
Oh, how his words are going against the world's plans for the two of them.
