"Take this!"
Lia is giving you a sparkling sparkler. It's the last night of this year; the midnight is coming soon, so you two are preparing to celebrate.
"Thank you," you say to Lia with a smile. She smiles back.
No matter it's really freezing, you two are standing outside, waiting to see fireworks.
"It's really cold, isn't it?" she says. You wanted to say that you also think so, but right now...
"Fireworks!"
Lia is happily shouting and you understand her, because the fireworks are amazing. They are very loud, but they are really pretty. You are both feeling sorry, because fireworks are horrible for nature, but you want to see some.
Lia is looking on her phone. Then she starts to count and you join: "Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one! Happy new year!"
She starts jumping and you must laugh, because she looks so happy... Her happiness makes your happiness. Isn't that strange?
Your mind start thinking what can you finally say to Lia. Isn't the new year a great opportunity?
You follow her to the table with food. Lia gives you some meal, but you are not paying attention to that.
"Lia... 사랑해."
