Welcome to the first book of The Powder Trail, a saga I've been pouring my heart and soul into for almost ten years now.

I hope you like it as much as I do. It's got demons, dragons, diabolical villains (I am looking at you, Robin Crake), romance, riddles, revolutions, and a cast of adorable characters, all adding their investigations to the central mystery: What has Jack forgotten? 

Votes and comments mean the world to me. The World. But plain old reads make me very happy too, so don't worry. All I want is to share this story with you. 

Oh, and if you're wondering, it's pronounced Ell-een-ee, to rhyme with Houdini. In fact, that's what the title is referencing—The Great Ellini—she's an escape artist just like him.
