A Goddess??
OKAY. Before this chapter starts, I have an announcement. Recently, I have begun to watch BNHA. Now, know that I will not be discontinuing this fic. I will still try to make this accurate to the personalities that I've given them so that it's still fun for you guys to read. I apologize in advance if it isn't what it was before.
Also, I've been writing Hagakure's clothing as invisible too, so now it won't be.
Having said that, read on!
~~~~~
"I'm a goddess."
Everyone (minus Bakugou) stared at the glowing figure in the center of the room. They had all been decorating (and failing) for Bakugou's birthday. She floated to the ground, surrounded by a regal halo of light.
"Okay, say that one more time," Kirishima ordered.
"That's what you've said the past seventeen times." She sighed. "But, I'll explain. My name is Yeenda, and today is my birthday as well. I have priestesses and priests. Now, you have two choices. Worship me, or find something I can do for you. I'll give you some time to decide."
They turned to each other.
"She could help us decorate," Todoroki suggested.
"Or she could distract Bakugou until we're done," Sakura offered.
And that was that. They gave Yeenda her orders, and she flounced out of the room, the door closing magically behind her.
"Alright! Now we don't have to rush to finish this!" Hagakure jumped in excitement. "Sakura and I can make the cake."
Sakura in turn frowned. "I have no idea how to bake."
"I do."
Everyone yelped and whirled around to see a tangled mop of hair poking out of the top of a yellow sleeping bag.
"AIZAWA??" Kirishima yelled, backing away. "We were going to burn your sleeping bag and have a funeral for you!"
"I know. That's why I came out. Also, I know how to bake."
"We should burn you anyway." Sakura frowned at him.
"That's... that's fair. Okay, go ahead."
"No! Don't burn him!" Hagakure protested.
~~~~~
(Now, time to check in on Bakugou and Yeenda)
"You must be Bakugou!" Yeenda sang as she twirled down the hallway.
"What?" He turned to face her. "Who are you?"
"I am here!"
"Yeah, I know that, but why?"
"Toooooooo... sing you a song! HAPPY BIRTHDAY-"
"Okay, okay, stop!" He silenced her off-key screeching. "What do you want? I have to go find everybody and make sure they haven't died."
She frowned. "Are you, like, their dad friend?"
"Uhhmm..."
"Yeah. I'm dubbing you the 'Ultimate Dad Friend!'"
"I am NOT the 'dad friend.'"
"Alright, whatever you say, UDF. Anyway, follow me! It's my birthday too, so-"
"Um, no. I'm not following you anywhere. You're sketchy, and-"
"No time to talk!" She grabbed his arm and dragged him down a random hallway.
"WAIT NO-"
~~~~~
(And we're back)
"I think it's burned," Aizawa said dryly as he held a steaming lump of charcoal out in front of him. Everyone coughed and choked, waving their sleeves in front of their faces to wave away the thick smoke that filled the room.
"You think?" Sakura's voice was hoarse from coughing.
"Yeah."
"Okay, maybe you can't bake," Hagakure mused.
"We'll have to order online," Todoroki suggested. Kirishima pulled out his phone and began to do just that, while everyone else aired out the room and hung up more decorations.
(Three hours later)
"Why are you still here?"
"Oh, come on! This is the last room I want to see! Please??" Yeenda begged, gesturing to the room where everyone waited to surprise their friend.
(AN: and it was at this point that your author realized that she completely forgot about Deku... whoOPs)
"Fine. But this is the last room."
Everyone in the room stifled giggles of anticipation, ducking behind chairs and tables. Bakugou opened the door, and the lights switched on.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
He jumped backward, and Yeenda caught him before he fell.
"What did you do?"
The room almost looked worse than Aizawa's hair. (Okay, maybe that was a bit of a stretch, but still, it looked pretty bad.) Kirishima shoved a box at Bakugou. Holes were poked in the top, and something was yowling its head off inside.
"Open this!"
He did as he was told, and held out a cat at arm's length. "You got me a cat?"
"A 'CAT' named 'SUKI.' Like your name!"
"Okay, that may be the worst thing-"
"Happy Birthday. They wouldn't let me bake," Aizawa said.
"That's because you charred the last thing you made," Deku mumbled.
"That doesn't matter."
"Um-"
"ANYWAY," Hagakure interrupted. "I hope you have an amazing birthday and that you don't lose any arms, legs, or heads!"
"I only have one head," Bakugou said in confusion.
"Oh. Really? Oops. Don't open my present, then."
~~~~~
Alrighty, then. This one's longer than the others, so I hope you enjoyed it!
I'd like to give credit to my sister for the character of Yeenda.
Happy Birthday, Yeenda and Bakugou, and Happy Easter to all of you!
