Dolphi gave a small smile as she cantered over to the pristine wood table with a stack of china plates in her tiny hands. You smiled back in appreciation contemplating her setting down the shiny plates which let out a small clank as she placed them in front of everyone.

"Thank you." You politely articulated as the placed china smiled at you in warm welcome. Dolphi hurried and took the empty chair to your right. Observing the table, Wadanohara was seated to the left of you, her pale hands folded and her thumbs twiddling as she waited. Fukami was across the table with his usual stoic stature, his eyelids were shut and his breathing slow as if meditating.

"HERE GUYS!" The obnoxious seagull had made herself present as she held a huge plate full of onigiri, which beckoned your hunger over, the sweet savory smell wafting into your  nose.

"That smells so good." Your mouth watered as you stared hungrily at the food. Memoca set down the plate in the center of the table.

"I hope you guys enjoy! I hope everything tastes fine- I mean I haven't really cooked in a while!" The girl blushed slightly and plopped in the last seat next to Dolphi.

"Like (Y/N) said, it smells amazing! I can't wait to try it!" The sea witch giggled and reached for a rice ball. You yourself follow suit and placed one onto your plate, taking a small whiff of the scent of spices which emanated from it. You took a bite. Fireworks exploded in your taste buds! "Sugar, spice and everything nice."  Is all you could describe it in simple terms- minus the sugar. Basically inhaling the onigiri you take another one, the soft sticky rice had a surprisingly good texture and balance with the other ingredients.

"Mmmm." You moaned in satisfaction. "This is hella good!"

"Awww thanks, dude..." Memoca turned slightly pink on her cheeks in which you thought was absolutely adorable. Wadanohara took a nibble and smiled to herself.

"You look pleased!" You called out to the witch, the brunette blushed.

"Well yeah! I've always liked Memoca's cooking, and Fukami's!" Dolphi nodded to this statement as she nomed on the rice ball in her grasp.

"So (Y/N) could you tell us more what your life was like, before this happened?" Memoca queried. You put your hand up to signal that you had food in your mouth, swallowing you nodded.

"Sure Memoca!" You paused and thought about it. "Well it was pretty ordinary like I have said, I went to school and then went back home almost everyday. I didn't really have many friends to be honest, so I just kind of existed. My parents were kind of mean and hurtful when I got into (HS/MS). Puberty hit and everything went south. I got bullied but eventually I just ignored it." Shrugging you look at the seagull. "I know my parents care about me and they're trying their best but, it was becoming emotionally stressful. They were just harsh and wanted me to reach expectations I could exactly achieve..."

"Tough love?" Fukami asked.

"Yeah I guess, my life isn't all the interesting, but now it's changed completely in the past week. I wonder if my parents miss me..." You got up from your seat and stretched, reaching your arms to the ceiling yawning.

"I would miss you if you disappeared all of the sudden, it's been so nice having you around. It's always nice to see a fresh face around here, it's kind of rare. Everyone in this town has known each other for ages." The brunette also got up pushing in her seat and yours, which made a scuffing noise as it was dragged across the floor.

"How long?" Licking your chapped lips, you stretch your legs like you would in your gym class, the relieving feeling of your muscles loosening.

"Over 100 years, at least for me." Your jaw must've been unhinged or something because they looked generally concerned for you.

"Whaaaaat?! That's crazy!" Exclaiming you stare at all of them. Wadanohara looked about 13-14.

"We can talk about that later! But we REALLY need to go to the castle!" The sea witch beckoned you over to the door.

"Alright, see you guys!" You wave to the familiar trio as you follow behind the witch outside.

"Bye!" Dolphi and Memoca gave their farewells and waved back. You already felt like you were truly at home now.
