Fire...

Air...

Water...

My grandmother once told me stories about how she and Grandpa Sokka, along with their friends helped Uncle Aang defeat the Fire Lord and put an end to the Hundred Year War.  After the war, Uncle Aang and new Fire Lord Zuko help formed the United Republic of Nations. 

A place where benders and non-benders can live together in peace.  And at the center of it is it's capital...

Republic City.  Decades have passed and sadly, Avatar Aang's time in this world came to an end, but like before, a new Avatar was born.  A Waterbender named Korra.  Oh, and also...she's my girlfriend.
