Falling. Once again, all she could remember was falling. The wind whipped against her face and the rest of her body. Her eyes were watering and the wind was also drying her eyes out. She just kept on falling and falling, but this time a voice was ringing in her ears very clearly, "You're a disgrace, you're nothing but filth!" Her eyes watered, why couldn't they understand? And this was the worst punishment of all. Their words stuck in her mind like a thorn. Now that it was truly too late she saw, they would show no sympathy; definitely not while they were like that. In the distance the echo of a voice could be heard, "Lily? Hey Lily, wake up!" Wait, was that Sam? Lily woke up from her restless slumber.
"Huh? What's going on?" Asked Lily with a hint of drowsiness, already forgetting about her dream.
"We're at the motel, Lily. You must've fallen asleep while we were driving here."
"Oh, oops." Said Lily with a sheepish grin. The three of them got out of the car and unloaded the little they had packed. While they were walking to the motel Dean also added, "Oh yeah, almost forgot, we invited Cas along, hope ya' don't mind"
"Oh don't worry, it's totally fine. Honestly, I think it's funny how awkward he can be sometimes." Grinned Lily. Sam and Dean both let out a little chuckle at that. After getting situated in the hotel room Sam immediately pulled out his laptop and started talking, "Alright, the job shouldn't be too hard, around five campers have gone missing this week, a family was camping and the parents managed to escape but not their daughter, police were saying it was a bear, and there are also four teens who were camping in an area known for having many bear caves, the perfect place for windigos to hide. We had one of our hunter buddies check it out for us so we know it's a windigo for sure." Lily normally would've been upset that they made it so easy, but since they were dealing with a creature that could kill her if she wasn't careful Lily was rather thankful. "So Lily," Sam continued, "I'm sure you remember, but just in case, how do you kill a windigo?"
"You burn it of course, what kind of fan would I be if I couldn't remember that?" Grinned Lily. Sam made a small grin and rolled his eyes.
     "Alright, fine," Said Sam, raising his hands in surrender. "We're gonna get going soon so get ready."
     "Speaking of leaving, where's Cas?" Thought Lily, just now remembering he was supposed to come along.
"I am right here." Said Cas out of nowhere. Lily yelped in surprise, much to Dean and Sam's amusement, and sighed in relief after seeing it was only Cad
"Oh geez Cas, I thought we talked about this, make sure people know you're there before you speak!"
"Oh, my apologies." Said Cas, tilting his head to the side, a little confused, while trying to remember when Lily said that.
"Wait, you didn't notice the fact that Cas was standing right behind you?" Snickered Dean.
"I - I just - w - well it's not my fault I ran out of contacts!" Stuttered Lily, a blush creeping up on her cheeks.
"Sure." Sniggered Dean. Lily looked over to Sam for help only to see him trying to hide his grin, making Lily get even more flustered. "C'mon Cas! Help me out here!" Pleaded Lily. "I can certify that Lily does indeed need glasses." Said Cas, not quite understanding the humor of the situation. "Ha, see?" Said Lily, sticking out her tongue and crossing her arms and Dean raises his hands in defeat.
"Fine. You in this round Lily, but I'll get you next time." Lily smiled and rolls her eyes.
"What ever you say, Deano."
~Time Skip~
The four of them get out of the car and Dean passed out the flare guns and they entered the forest. "It's 2:30pm so we should have enough time to stop the windigo before dark." Said Sam. After following the forest map and walking deeper into the forest there was a rustle behind them; everybody immediately whipped around, but nothing was there. Form that point forward everyone walked on more carefully, they reached their destination and the entered the cave, it was smelly and dark, thankfully, Dean and Sam had brought flash lights. After wandering deeper into the cave they saw the missing victims as they started untying the missing people the windigo sprang out of the shadows and tried to tackle Sam. Lily, having pretty fast reflexes, had also been keeping watch, saw and shot immediately. Lily managed to get the windigo's leg. Dean handed Lily the little girl, "You and Cas take the Impala and take her and the others out of here!"
"But what about you guys?" Said Lily quickly, as they didn't have much time.
"We'll be fine just go!" Called Sam as he shot another flare. Lily held onto the little girl as her, Cas, and the four teenagers ran out of the cave in the forest and to the Impala. Once safely away from the forest they all agreed on a story that teenagers got lost in the forest and found the little girl after she apparently got away from the bear that attacked her family. Lily and Cas dropped off all of the teens and it was just the little girl left sitting in the back. They sat there in awkward silence for a while and then the little girl, who was about 5 asked the most random question, "Where do babies come from?" Lily had nearly choked on the water she had been drinking and thought 'Interesting way to break the ice, I suppose'. Lily was about to give some bullshit answer but Cas spoke first, "Human children are conceived when the male p-" Cas stops when Lily elbows him hard and gives him the 'What the fuck are you thinking! Shut the fuck up!' Look, while trying to keep her eyes in the road. Cas tilts his head with a confused look on his face but before he can say anything. Lily starts speaking again, "Oh would you look at that! We made it to your house!" Said Lily, trying to change the subject. The little girl thanked them and ran to her home and Dean called Lily, saying they need her to pick them up. So then Lily started heading back to the forest to pick up Sam and Dean, and says, "Cas, you're not supposed to tell them how reproduction works until they're older."
"Oh? Why is that?" Said Cas tilting his head once more.
"Because Cas, it helps them keep their innocence for longer."
Oh... Interesting." Said Cas, understanding it a bit better now.
~Time Skip~
The four of them walked into the hotel room after getting dinner, Cas obviously didn't eat, and Lily immediately flopped down onto her bed.
"Not bad for your first hunt," Stated Dean.
"Oh please," started Lily, "I hardly even got to fight."
"Yeah, but it could've gone a lot worse." Said Dean.
"What ever, man. I just wanna sleep. I feel really tired." Soon everybody was going to bed and Cas left. Lily closed her eyes and dream filled slumber took over.
