The car ride to where Metatron was hiding was silent for the most part, Lily was staring at the early morning sky slightly anxious, trying to assure herself that everything would be fine. After all, there was no way she would let down Azure. But hey, at least there was more room in the Impala now. Before Lily knew it they had arrived and stopped in front of an extremely large wear house. It was silent for a moment before the four of them decided to go over their plan once more in the car. Dean and Sam unbuckled themselves and turned around in their seats to face Lily and Cas,
     "Alright," Dean sighed before continuing, "according to what Cas told me last night while everyone else was sleeping, that entire place," he gestured behind him quickly, pointing at the large and slightly rusty wear house, "has three floors, the first floor is just one giant room, where no doubt a shit ton of angels will be waiting for us. Go up the stairs and the second floor has a long ass hallway and then a large room with more angels, which will be guarding what's on the third floor-"
     "Wait, is what's on the third floor what I think it is?" Interrupted Lily.
     "Yes," answered Cas. "the gate to heaven should be on the third floor. Once we get to heaven you must all stay close to me and I will show you three where Metatron will be. He'll no doubt be waiting for us so we must act quickly," Cas pulled out an old looking wooden bowl from under the seat and a baggy filled with the ingredients they had been collecting from his trench coat, "before we enter the room where he's located we'll mix these ingredients together, and I already have the metal of an angel blade melted, but as you should remember, Sam or Dean will have to dribble some of their blood into the bowl when we're in the presence of Metatron to activate the spell, Lily can't do it either, it must be completely human, and Lily's blood is tainted by angel presence because of her old life." Explained Cas. Lily sighed in response still some what anxious,
     "Well, the angels ahead are waiting, we don't wanna keep them for too long, right? So, shall we get going?" Said Sam. With that Cas tucked the ingredients and the bowl into his trench coat, Lily didn't even bother questioning how Cas had enough space in his pockets to fit an entire bowl as the four of them stepped out of the Impala. The four of them stood in front of the large building, bracing themselves, angel blades in hand, Lily had her eyes closed and was doing something she hadn't done in a long time, she was praying silently in her head. It was about as awkward as you'd expect.
     'Hello, uh… father? Am I still supposed to call you that? Uh, whatever. If you still care, then… please let 'Zure heal up fast. And, uh, don't let this end up in favor of Metatron? That'd be nice too. So um, amen?' Lily opened her eyes and grimaced to herself, 'That was awkward.' Lily thought to herself before she turned to the other three men with her,
     "So, shall we?" Asked Lily, hopefully sounding more confident than she felt. Sam, Dean, and Cas all nodded in response. With that, Dean walked up to the door of the wear house in front of them and kicked it down. As expected there were angels waiting for them, at least ten angels stood there with their own angel blades in hand. With hardly any delay both sides sprung at each other, Lily wasn't sure how the others were fairing, though she was sure they were fine, but she was fighting two angels at the same time, it was a little difficult swinging her blade at them and dodging their blows at the same time but it was possible. Lily managed to find an opening in one of her attacking foes and went for it, stabbing one of the angels in his abdomen, she didn't have time to marvel at the holy light that poured out of his mouth, abdomen, and eye sockets as she had to immediately turn around and parry away the remaining angel's blade.
     As Lily dodged another of the angel's swipes she could see Sam stabbing an angel a little ways away, it relieved her a little to know that Sam, Dean, and Cas seemed to be doing fine. Lily put all of her focus back into fighting the the other angel and tripped him up, he must've not been a fighter, Lily didn't try to think about it too much as she stabbed the angel in the side.
     Lily turned around to help Sam who still had one more angel to deal with, Lily swung at the angel, and Sam stabbed it in the nape of the neck while it was distracted. It seemed that they had taken care of the last angel on that floor, the four of them ventured up the stairs and walked into the empty hallway, once they reached the end of the hall they walked into the large room it was connected to. Five angels awaited them, after taking care of those angels they walked up the steps and to the third floor. On the third floor heaven's gate sat there in front of them with a little post it note laid neatly in front of the gate. Lily bent down and picked up the note and read it out loud,
     "Hello friends, the end of this marvelous story is coming to an end, and it seems one of our antagonists has yet to redeem herself. Do not fret, Lily, your time will come soon and you will soon see that your on the wrong side of things. Signed, Metatron." Lily rolled her eyes and crumpled up the post it note and threw it behind her,
     "Yeah right, as if I'd ever join him." Lily turned around to face the other three with her, "So, shall we?"

     This chapter ended up having a little over 1000 words, I thought it would be shorter, oh well. The next chapter will be the final chapter, I'm bad at estimating how long chapters will end up being but the final chapter will probably be 1500+ words. ~ ♒
