The Sargent went to the center of the town and got the attention of all the people. "People of Beach City do you know where the crystal gems went" Sargent said.
"Why do you want to know" Mayor Nanafwa said.
" Did you know that the crystal gems are aliens?" He challenged
"Yeah so what they did nothing wrong they only have protected our town from bad and have been good friends of the town" Nana replied.
  " We need to take them to work for the military we have noticed that they have a strong power and we need to do tests and experiments on them" Sargent said.
"We will never tell you where they are even if we knew" Lars yelled. The people started joining in the protest of why the crystal gems should not be taken.
"Hey pink kid are you one of them" Sargent asked.
"No I'm not a gem but one of them Steven revived me from death and saved the town many times over" Lars protested. The government officials left knowing it would be impossible to get info from the town.

                                                              Gems pov

The gems noticed that Stevens phone was going off, it was Lars. Peridot grabbed the phone and answered the call. "Steven the government is after you and your family" Lars warned.
" This is his family speaking the government really hurt Steven and we don't know if he will live" said Garnet. There was a muffled crying.
"Why did they have to do this " Lars cried.
"We are at the barn Lars if you want to know more on his condition" said Amethyst.
"I will be right there" he cried.
"So will I" said Sadie in the background. They hung up.
"We need to find a place of hiding for a while" Garnet said.  The group went inside the barn to discuss.
